Mass Heat was extremely responsive and professional from start to finish. We highly recommend them.

I had a sudden late-night oil tank leak, and these guys hustled out, got it stopped and drained, and replaced the tank the next day. They took care during the entire process, including laying down cloths and letting me know what they'd be working on, and when. Would 100% recommend them.

UPDATE 2: See the owner's "response" below. It has been several weeks and no one from Boston Budget Plumbing has called to "regain my trust". His response was boilerplate pablum. Avoid this company. They will rip you off for every cent they can get.

Two years ago, this outfit charged me $250 to replace a leaky kitchen faucet. (I still have the receipt.) I purchased and provided the new faucet.

Fast forward two years later to just a few weeks ago and I again needed to replace a leaky kitchen faucet. I went out and bought one and figured I'd use the same plumbing company to install.

Well a lot has happened in two years. When I booked the appointment, I asked for a ballpark cost on the installation and told Bobby Jo, that two years ago, it cost $250. She would not get specific, but said that pricing started at $300. So imagine my shock when the plumber told me it would cost $791. The look on my face must have said it all. I relayed my conversation with Bobby Jo to him and he quickly called her. All of a sudden, the price was now $476 and he said that was the lowest available price on his tablet - which contradicts Bobby Jo's assertion that pricing started at $300.

The price is actually what they are able to talk you into paying. This is a clip joint. It was a 20 minute job and they wanted $791 which is absolutely outrageous. And the fact that when I challenged it, the price was lowered by more than $300 proves it. They even had the nerve to try to sell me a subscription!

I know they will respond to this by trying to rationalize their great service and "high standards" but don't fall for it. I feel bad for all of the people who've already fallen for this scam.

UPDATE: There was no mistake, not that was explained to me. Your explanation makes no sense and if you sincerely wanted to connect with me to "regain my trust", you have my phone number and could have called, but you didn't and that belies your statement.

Very pleased with efficient n smart work of Goran!!! Excellent assessment of our water heater problem, spoke to manufacturer n his company to arrange ordering of parts n will return as soon as parts available to fix the heater.
Very courteous to me and my dog. Look forward to working with him again.

Had a fantastic experience with them - they were able to send someone to come out to resolve our issue late in the evening for an emergency when no other company that I called was able to. Billy quickly diagnosed and resolved our issue and even helped our neighbor to solve her problem (where the issue originated). Billy and Alexandria were extremely helpful and we are grateful that our plumbing issue is resolved. Would 100% recommend them!

Tom was very friendly and did an excellent job. He even caught and fixed a wiring issue with our thermostat that the electrician missed. Great service all around!

Chris Dang and came to help me with a leak under my sick - super professional and quick! He made sure I knew what the problem was and informed me on how he was planning on fixing it. Really great and efficient work :)

Every issue we had in past and present very happy and Chris was an employee that came after 2 waterheaters went was told 12 pm starting and he showed up alone and 830 started installing 2 water heater and did everything alone amazing very responsible online respectable and amazing Thank you

Tim was awesome! Very knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. He took the time to explain to me what he was doing as he was fixing the HVAC issue.

The technician was great… sourced problem quickly and efficiently made necessary repairs! Also, explained how my water heater worked and suggested future maintenance.

A little pricier than I was expecting but Hai and Julien showed up super fast, were very professional and efficient. They answered all my questions and explained to me what they were doing as they took care of it. Very well done! My sink/garbage disposal pipes look great, I’ll call them again.

Tom and his crew did a great job. Very professional from start to finish. It was a big job they did for me that I’ve been putting off for years and was fixed perfectly and they did a great job with cleanup and making sure everything works perfectly. I’ve been using Tom and his company for over 16 years for three different properties in Winthrop, Randolph, and Brockton, and am always satisfied. Tom and Ed did a great job replacing my water heater changing the copper pipes and gas pipes shut off valves looks great thank you very much professionals very friendly the receptionist called me back right away and asked me what I needed done so greatfull thank you.

Boston Budget Plumbing has been nothing but fantastic. Billy Wallace was prepared, well-informed, and quick. I had Billy come out to service my HVAC system. He provided me details on what the issues were and how I prepare for future concerns. Greatly appreciated the work.

Prompt response to my call and on-time arrival at our agreed-upon appointment. A complicated lavatory drain blockage that required two days of work, additional equipment, and removal of a portion of the bathroom wall to access. Drain runs freely now. Connor and Julien were courteous, informative, and efficient and left the place spotless. Well done!
