If you are a single woman, a minority, elderly or just someone looking for an honest quote, please use Jacobson. They didn't insist on having me sit through a corporate spiel, going into every room of my house, and then blaming extravagant rates on COVID. Tom came prepared, and gave me a great price for installing my furnace. They are the epitome of underpromise and over deliver. Installers were efficient and did a phenomenal clean-up job. I will protect this local company, and they have all of my business.

Our furnace and A/C needed to be replaced. Jacobson gave a great price and did the work the same week. The techs that came were very fast and clean. Mark and James came last week to install the condenser and did an awesome job.

Our old unit which was also installed by Jacobson over 23 years ago finally died in this hot, HOT summer we are having. I called Jacobson and Tom came out immediately and gave us a quote. Tim and Ross, our installers showed up the next day and got everything done very quickly. We couldn't be happier with our new unit and the excellent service and installation we received!

My AC Unit recently broke down. I called Jacobsons. Mike and Mark came out within the week and installed a new unit. I was very impressed with their work which was over and above what I expected. They were very professional and courteous. They did an excellent job installing the unit, answered all my questions, explained to me what they did and showed me the finished product of the work done inside and outdoors. David came by later in the afternoon to inspect and charge the unit and again … I was very happy with his kind and courteous manner and the job he did. I highly recommend Jacobson’s.

We had our first furnace installed 22 years ago with Jacobson and they just installed a new furnace and air conditioner for us last week. Out of the 3 quotes we received Jacobson offered the best value. Tim and Ross did an excellent job with installation and answered all of our questions. Rich came and did a terrific job and put my mind at ease since another company told me that I needed a new furnace which was a scam. Wish that he was not retiring soon or I would request him whenever I need Work done ; however I will only call Jacobson's as they are trustworthy.

We just had our system replaced - a/c and furnace...and they did it in a day. Honestly, we really enjoyed the who process: from the estimate - super clear and concise and knew the final price before they left; to install with Tim and Ross. Both men were super communicative, sensitive to my wife working at home, to loving on our crazy dog who wouldn't leave them alone. The install was smooth, the explanation clear. And a follow up the two days later.

We would highly recommend Jacobson Heating & Cooling if you're in need of some work.

FYI: We had their technician look at our furnace today in Ada, Michigan. I looked at my iphone clock at 2:18 pm when he arrived in our basement where the furnace is located. He finished at 2:28 pm ( I looked at my iphone clock again). He told me he only had to remove the dirty filter that was clogged. He didn’t even change the filter and his labor cost is $81. I think the cost is pretty steep.

Mark was a great help for us when our furnace stopped working. He installed our new one efficiently and was very polite. Would definitely recommend jacobsons to anyone!

We spent nearly $9,000 on a newly installed furnace in 2020. Since then, I’ve had multiple repairs, and now—only six years later—their technicians are telling me I may need a new furnace because I’m having to May for multiple repairs. A system of this age should not be failing or facing replacement. This has been extremely frustrating and costly, and I would not recommend using this company.

We have always had a great experience with Jacobson. They are very honest and a pleasure to work with,especially our installers, Matt and Ryan. They made sure they did not leave a trail behind them, very considerate.

Mark and Aiden did a awesome job. They were on time and never stopped working until the job was done. And my new Daikin furnace is sooooo quite. It's 97% efficient, this should help with the gas bill. Nice job guys!! keep doing what you been doing all these years Mr.Jacobson...

We called Jacobson's when we came to no heat on a cold winter day, and the appliance plan we pay into couldn't get someone out day-of. Patrick was to our house in ten minutes from calling and was able to provide great guidance in a stressful situation. He didn't try to over-sell us, and even gave us some helpful tips to get through the night before the replacement part was in. Thanks, Patrick!

Kudos to Mike and Adam who just installed our new furnace. They were professional, capable, and pleasant throughout the whole process. We have been customers of Jacobson Htg. and Cooling for 37 years. They have never disappointed us!

Our humidifier (attached to the furnace) wasn’t working in the house we recently bought. Patrick came, looked over and tested each section, showed me what was wrong and how he knew, and was very willing to answer my (many) questions. Before he left, he made sure to double check that I understood everything he said and that I had all my questions answered. I felt confident I understood what was wrong and what my options were. Highly recommend!!

I had our gas furnace replaced on 10/24/25 due to 2 cracks in the heat exchanger. This furnace was 35 years old. The inefficiency were discovered by another company. The same day I had 3 companies give me written estimates. Jacobson submitted an estimate in the middle. Based on Jeff’s professional experience, We chose Jacobson Heating & Cooling. Install for both furnace & AC. Jeff arranged for install within 48 hours. Mind you, the outside temperature was in the mid forty’s. Mark & Mike arrived right on time at 8:30. Very professional, limited disruption, working without breaks until 6:00 pm on a Friday. Thank you Jacobson’s. Job well done by two professionals.

Our furnace stopped working in the middle of the night when it was 15 degrees out- I called Jacobson at 8 am and someone was here by 8:45am, faster than other companies that claim to be 24 hour service. Eric fixed the issue and got our heat working again. Highly recommend!!
