I was very pleased with the service I received. Jeff was informative and clear about the repairs my AC system needed. He explained what he was doing and why, and did not try and sell me additional repairs. He seemed trustworthy, was on time, and his office staff were very helpful as well. Will call on Maheu Mechanical for future HVAC issues.

I was in dier need when my furnaces went out, it was in the middle of winter and freezing cold in the house, I called Maheu Mechanical and it was the best call I could have ever made, Jeff came out immediately the same day and got one of my furnaces running to prevent a pipe from bursting.
Since then I have gotten both furnaces replaced with high efficient furnaces and humidifiers, working great!

My furnace stopped working and Jeff came out within a really short time frame. He diagnosed our issue within no time and had our furnace up and running again after some blowing, cleanup, and resetting and gave us really good advice on ensuring optimal use for the future. Reasonable pricing as well, definitely going to them in the future if I have any HVAC needs, including inspecting my chimney in the Spring to ensure proper ventilation. 10/10 highly recommended!

I am so impressed with the expertise and professionalism of Maheu Mechanical. Jeff Maheu, the owner, serviced my +20-year-old gas furnace that needed repair today! It stopped working just before the temps are starting to dip. Brrrr!!! He troubleshooted the issue and advised what needed to be done to ensure my furnace was working properly including: cleaning out a spider web in one of the burner openings, repairing a fried wire, and replacing the igniter. He also blew out the dust and sediment around and inside the repair area and vacuumed the floor immediately around the furnace. Also, advised me about things I may want to do next year to keep the system running dependably and safely. I plan to call his service for future replacement of my air conditioner next year. Jeff was very pleasant and considerate while in my home. I highly recommend his service to anyone needing heating and cooling expertise, repair and/or installation. Back to cooking with gas! Jeff quoted a fair price on a new furnace and air conditioning system for my Livonia home. He explained in detail the work they would do and followed through. Jeff and his team did an amazing job! We came home Saturday evening to a house that was 63 degrees and dropping due to extremely cold weather outside. We found Jeff on google, called, and he was at our house within a half hour to assess the issue. We were hoping for a quick fix, but with a 25 year old furnace, we were prepared for the worst. Then Jeff said those 3 little words no homeowner wants to hear from their HVAC guy. "Cracked Heat Exchanger". Once we got over the initial shock, Jeff was able to provide us with our furnace efficiency options for replacement and explained the importance of a properly installed furnace. Properly installed was an understatement, I don't think I've ever seen such attention to detail by a HVAC company. We are now the proud owners of a 96% 2-stage variable speed furnace. We have no more cold spots in the house, and the new furnace is so quite you can barely tell that it is running. Thank you to Jeff and his team for going above and beyond!

Thank you so much for fixing my furnace. Your attention to detail is amazing. Everything from the moment the technician entered my home (Putting waterproof covers on his footwear to prevent tracking rain water in my house), to literally wiping down everything and even vacuuming to make sure there was zero mess left behind after completing my repair. The technician even brought a portable heater for me to use that kept my house comfortable while he worked! These guys are a class act from start to finish! My husband and I recently had Maheu Mechanical replace our air conditioner and furnace. I cannot say enough positive things about Jeff Maheu and his team! They were professional and friendly, and the entire team was very knowledgeable. I apologized for interrupting with a question and their response was, "You are not bothering us at all, please feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like." Also, Jeff was very kind and generous in helping me deal with my home warranty company, he knew exactly how to handle the situation. Did I mention they're tidy? My furnace room was cleaner when they left than before they came! They stayed late to get the job done right, which I appreciated. Jeff heard a strange clicking noise near our fuse box, so he called the electrician back to come out and look at it, even though it had nothing to do with the furnace/AC. Above and beyond. Friendly. Caring. All around wonderful!
