City Wide is a company my parents have worked with for years and are still customers. Today, Saturday Al came out and installed an entire new AC unit for my parents. A SATURDAY! With the temperatures being 85-90° this past week, and my parents not being in their 40s anymore? Getting their AC fixed was a necessity. Thanks to City Wide my parents can relax now.

I had a whole home Humidifier installed, Alan did a great job. The installation looks as if it were part of the original furnace. He used quality products and went above and beyond the installation requirements. Citywide has always taken care of me and i will continue to use them for all of my HVAC needs.

Can not say enough good things about City Wide. We were assigned this company through our home warranty and had a great experience with them. From the office staff to the technicians, they were very prompt and professional. I will definitely use them in future needs outside of my home warranty as they have been phenomenal.

This company is top notch! Even though I’m nowhere near their business they have been out several times to fix my unit. They have endless endless amounts of knowledge when it comes to your HVAC system. I will only use citywide moving forward. If you have any issues with your home warranty they will go to bat for you. I’ve never delt with such a professional well mannered group of individuals in my life.

I decided our furnace just doesn't want to live here anymore. Twice in the past month when it's 9 degrees outside it decided to quit. I called City Wide and 4 hours later Alan came. He had bad news to deliver but he did it with compassion and understanding of our frustration with having to purchase a new furnace. City Wide then made sure we had temporary heat and were at my house at 4pm to make sure our pipes didn't freeze. Don and his son did the installation and throughout the process they were very polite, efficient and informative even making sure we knew we may be able to get rebates through our power or gas company to help offset a little of the cost. We highly recommend City Wide.

If you look up the definition of customer service in the dictionary, there's a photo of City Wide. When I have an issue with my HVAC system, I call City Wide and they have a technician out to our house within the hour. Their service guys are honest about the repairs and give me options to keep my costs down. When my wife and I needed our AC unit replaced, they estimated at half the cost of other HVAC companies in the area and I was extremely happy with the service and the AC unit. 10/10, best HVAC company in Monroe/Frenchtown.

Dan P. came out to look at my AC unit. He was very professional and took the time to explain to me what was wrong with my unit. He came to my home twice and was on time & respectful both times. City Wide's office staff, Janelle & Shelly, were equally as helpful. City Wide was assigned to my case through my home warranty company. All the City Wide employees worked very hard with me and advocated for me as I struggled to deal with my home warranty company. I would recommend using City Wide for any heating or cooling needs because they put the customer first.

Our heater was out and I was able to get an appointment within a few hours if calling. They sent a picture of the tech which I thought was a great safety practice. Alan did a great job and was on time, knowledgeable and courteous. Great experience during a stressful time.

The gentlemen were very nice and professional. We called citywide for a second opinion, their quote ended up being a whopping $600 less expensive than what the first guy told us, and solved the issue in a timely manner! We will definitely be using them for any future work we need with our hvac system 🙂👍🏼

The sales representative and as well as the installation team was the best I have ever dealt with!!! Allen the sales representative was amazing and very helpful with helping me choose the right unit for my home. The installation team always gave me an update and was super nice to my child when he was trying to help them lol. I know I will recommend and use them in the future!!!

Had City Wide come out for a service call to look at an issue with my AC, that was taken care of timely and I was informed I needed to clean my outside unit. I figured id just do so myself and gave it a shot that day, MISTAKE. Let the professionals do what they do, I was in way over my head. So I gave them a call and they took care of me AGAIN late in the day within an hour for a reasonable price. These guys are a family business and seem very genuine, couldn't ask for better service. Will be calling again for my heating and cooling needs, and cant recommend enough.

Don and his team did a fantastic job on installation of our new Carrier Furnace and Air Conditioner. They were friendly, polite and very professional. The install ran into multiple road blocks which was no fault of theirs (manufacturer defect in fan and housing unit in furnace and problems meshing old 2 zone equipment with the new equipment). They worked diligently to correct the problems and were very apologetic with the delays caused by the problems even though it was no fault of their own. They lived up to promise of getting it right before they would leave job (had to come back next day because Carrier wasn't open to get the defective replacement part). Very pleased with overall service with company at all levels from calling in for estimate, the estimate process with Al, the entire installation crew and service technician after had a question with fan operation and control. All were very friendly, helpful and professional which is very refreshing in today's world. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will do business with them again for any future needs in their area of expertise.

Wayne from City Wide came out later in the day to look at my A/C. It was cooling, but not as well as it should be. He took plenty of time going over everything as well as gave me maintenance advice on how to keep my unit in good condition. Even though it was the end of the day, after 6pm, Wayne took his time and went over everything. When he left, the air was functioning properly. The service and customer service were great.

I called Citywide a little after 8am in need of furnace repair and they had someone out to service it less than an hour later. He was able to diagnose and fix the issue-- a malfunctioning gas valve-- in one visit. The company's staff were prompt and courteous both over the phone and in person. When the technician left, everything was running smoothly and the area was clean. Thanks, Citywide, for making this quick and easy.

If you’re going through google looking for a repair/install HVAC company, STOP and use this company. You won’t be sorry. They fit me in for an AC repair on one of the hottest days of the year. The technician that came out was friendly, attentive, professional and empathetic to my dilemma. Once he repaired the problem, he stayed for a while to make sure everything was working properly. I won’t go on about the price, let me just say, I was shocked at how inexpensive the bill was!!

In late 2019/20 we decided to upgrade our house from electric baseboard heating to an HVAC system. This required adding ductwork, a furnace and air conditioner, totaling around $18k. Citywide took two weeks longer than anticipated as many employees quit mid job, they left holes in my newly refinished ceilings in almost every room and when I requested these be repaired they filled the holes with silicon, sloppy and still very apparent. 6 months after the initial job was completed an inspector knocked on my door to evaluate their work and notified us that, while the insulation was present. It was just sitting next to the ducts and not installed at all let alone properly. Why write a review now? Well as I lay in bed, 59 degrees in my house, having listened to my furnace run for the last 12 hours straight, I am reminded that not a winter has gone by that I have not had an issue with the furnace requiring someone to come out in the 5 years it has been here. I cannot recommend City Wide as thorough, honest, or of worthy quality.

Edited: Because Google doesn’t allow replies. In the 12 months prior to this installation we purchased our home, had a home inspection, added a bedroom, expanded and existing bedroom and removed a wall in our living room including removing the existing acoustic tiles and drywall on the ceiling and running new electrical to these spaces. This, today is the first indication, mention or do us soon I have ever had of a “rat” infestation. I should also add that I don’t live in the city and it would be unusual for rats to exist near my home. We did not hire a drywall company to do the drywall work that was done during a large portion of these renovations, although various other professionals were present and in my attic, so I have no reason to have suggested that I would hire one to repair that several holes left in the ceiling of each room.
Additionally, we, your team included, determined that because our breezeway, as the entry was to our home, holds our water and gas shut off, washer and dryer , a water drain etc would not be the best place to put the furnace without blocking one thing or another. However, the alternative was to cut a hole in my bedroom closet floor and place it into the crawl space. As for price, I would be happy to post my receipt, I’m not arguing that the price was faire or not fair, I agreed to pay it, but for the money in invested in this system, I should not have to worry about whether it will work each existing winter. The inspectors did sign off on the project eventually but we received 3 visits and they made your team return to appropriately apply the insulation. I expect nothing less reading the responses to your other reviews.

My husband and I were looking to install a new heating and a/c system. We looked at a few different providers in the Monroe Michigan area and double checked all of their reviews. Citywide had the best reviews and we have found that their service, professionalism, and dedication for a job well done is paramount and we made a very good decision to hire them. Great work, you can trust them.

Highly Recommended! I had another company out yesterday and they wanted FOUR TIMES as much money to make the same repair City Wide did. Janelle in the office was extremely helpful and promptly scheduled my service. Alan the tech was on time, extremely courteous and very knowledgable on how to complete the repair. He went above and beyond my expectations by testing equipment the other company did not and even checked refrigerant levels to be sure equipment was operating properly. If you want to spend more than you have to and get mediocre service call someone else. If you want prompt professional and aggressive pricing stop messing around and call City Wide.

Al came out quoted me a very good price on my heating and cooling system. The guys did an amazing job with installation. Very friendly and informative. Love my new HVAC system. I highly recommend City Wide Heating and Cooling
