Jim and Dan Schlemmer were great to work with. They picked up my call immediately and we're even able to stop out same day and resolve the issue quickly! I will definitely use them in the future.

Jesse and his buddy came today to fish a 220 line from one side of the house to the garage for a new ev car charger. Before you judge me it’s to replace one of my 3 V8’s in my garage and it’s only a hybrid not a full EV. Anyways as you can see by the photo the garage is mostly finished and I was a bit apprehensive for running a new line. Now take a closer look….his conduit run and mounting of the box not only exceeded my expectations but I actually think it kind of adds to the look of the garage. After talking to him a bit they are family owned and I believe they are running three trucks. His estimate was spot on, he was able to quickly come out and get the job done and his price was well below any of the guys you see advertising. I officially have a “go to” electrician saved in my contacts…..thank you so much.

I called Schlemmer Electricians a little over two weeks ago when an accident occurred snapping off the power pole on our property. This caused the fiber internet wire and power to be yanked from our home. Dan and Jakob were out to assess the situation not long after I called Schlemmer.

Dan Schlemmer was able to speak with the Xcel Energy Foreman who also came not long after the accident occurred. Dan and Jakob returned once the new power pole was in place and power was run to our home.

The Schlemmer team was professional, thorough, and cleaned up everything when finished with the job. I also appreciated their willingness to communicate with me every step of the way through the process.

Needed some outlets in the garage and Jesse and his assistant were able to do it right away. Did a great job. Very happy with all the service.

I called Jim (owner of the business) on Labor Day evening with a problem with my garage door not opening due to a tripped GFCI outlet. He answered his phone and was very pleasant. He asked me to send him a few photos of my electrical box and electrical meter. I did so, and he walked me through the issue over the phone. He saved me the expense of having someone come out on a holiday and after hours. I will definitly call on him in the future and recommend his business based on his help. It says a lot about someone when they will go out of their way to lend a helping hand free of charge!

After a falling tree branch ripped the electrical supply mast off of our house on a Sunday morning, we called Schlemmer Electricians. They arrived less than 2 hours later. Jesse made the temporary Xcel Energy connection weather-tight that morning. He came back and replaced the mast and meter box three days later. Jesse was friendly and easy to work with and even tidied up the adjacent cable line for us.

I was recommended Schlemmer Electric from another Bloomington, MN electric company due to not being able to take on our home project but we were not at all disappointed. Jesse and his helper were on time, efficient and transparent with our odd project electric needs. They also were great with our pets as they can get a little nosey but Jesse actually enjoyed their company! Would hire Jesse or anyone from Schlemmer Electric again for our future electric projects!

I made an early morning call to Jim after waking up from worrying about a faulty light-switch. He gave me some good advice in the short term and had electricians out to my house by 8:30 that morning. Jesse and his partner were professional, efficient, and thorough. The switches were replaced, the electrical panel was checked, and the affected fixture inspected (and even cleaned!). 2 men came and installed two bathroom lights . Quick and cleaned up after themselves. Very pleased with them.

These guys did an excellent job and they were able to get out to my house morning of this horrible breaker failure. Dan Schlemmer really knows what he's doing and answered a lot of my questions. Past contractor did zero insulation from the city feed, which resulted in years of condensation and eventually - kaboom. So happy to have it replaced same day and I didn't even have to throw any food away. Again, great job and highly recommend.

Lightning struck our house and damaged much of the electrical system of the house. Schlemmer Electric responded very quickly with a team of skilled electricians. They efficiently restored power to the house and addressed electrical issues throughout the house that were caused by the lighting strike.

Our house is about 50 years old. We’ve had remodels and updates and asked Schlemmer Electric to do a review of our outlets, lighting, and breaker. During the review, there were some items that needed to be corrected or updated. The electrician brought these to our attention with options on addressing the issue. The necessary work was done at this same appointment.
Though you can’t see behind the walls, the results brought us an increased level of safety. Jesse-our electrician, provided great customer service, answered our questions and expertly corrected any issues.

We put on 19 new windows, siding, fascia and soffit on our duplex. Because it’s a rental the city policy is to use professionals for outside electrical. It wasn’t a big job, just taking out 4 outside lights and doorbells and putting them back on after the siding was replaced. They came right away each time we called and did a great job. I would recommend this company and wouldn’t hesitate to call them again.

Got an upgrade from an old 100amp screw in fuse box, to a 200amp breaker box & a new breaker box in the garage, Jesse and Danny were amazing. From the initial quote, that was extremely competitive, informing me of what work was required and timescale, right through to aftercare (ensuring everything was fine). Communication was amazing, letting me know when they would arrive, (always on time), any mess was cleaned up, and treat my home with respect.
