Andrew was great and very knowledgeable! He was on time, courteous, and thorough. He showed me pictures of my furnace on the inside, so I could better understand what the issues were. He spent a lot of time giving me all my options, and the cost involved. I appreciated that so much. He was very professional and gave me a way to contact him if I had other questions. I’m still in the process of deciding what to do with the information, but feel good, that I have all that to make an educated decision.

We made an appointment to have our furnace and water heater inspected because wee had a coupon to have it done. When the water heater was inspected, they said it needed a new anode rod, which we had them replace. When the furnace was inspected, they did recommend replacing it (it was 20 years old). The salesman said it could be be done 3 days later (a Monday). We agreed. The salesman said that if any problems arise or if we have any questions after it was installed, feel free to contact him anytime. He did mention that the furnace we chose was sized right so that the door to the laundry room, where the furnace is located, could close properly, which is code.
The next Monday arrived, and the crew was on time. They took out the old furnace and put in the new. They also replaced our thermostat. That took about 4.5 hours for all of that. They did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards. Later that afternoon, we noticed it was getting colder in the house, and the furnace was not turning on. We attempted to turn up the thermostat, but we were not given directions on how to do do, nor were we given a manual for the thermostat. We called the company itself, but they kept asking if we want to purchase a membership for reduced maintenance. We finally got through to someone who would send out someone to check it out that night.
A younger gentleman (mid-20s) did come out that evening, and soon as he saw the new furnace, he knew what was wrong right away: the installers never turned the gas back on! Also, he noticed that the furnace prevented the laundry room from closing completely. He turned the gas on, he was able to move the furnace so that the door could close completely. He then looked at the thermostat, took off the cover plate, showed us that the thermostat runs on AA batteries (which did not know),and showed us how to adjust it. He said he would tell the company to send us a manual for it.
The next day, we tried to call the salesman again, but never heard back! We did get ahold of someone at the company, who mentioned all of our complaints to (but praised the person who came the night before to fix things), and he said he will contact the salesman himself about the matter.
Unacceptable that an install team would leave before assuring the furnace was working.

He could have made it a bigger deal than it was and charged me more money but he figured out the problem for much less expensive. Phenomal plumbing job. I had the pleasure of meeting Eulises and him taking care of the work we needed done. Very nice and smart gentleman. He answered every question we had and took care of every concern we had. We will definitely be using Genz-Ryan again and will request him on any future plumbing work.

Very easy, guys worked cleanly and were professional. Leaned everything up after install. Helped me find replacement bulbs for a uv air sanitizer I am using. Very happy!

I was extremely grateful to be able to get same day service appointment for my furnace which was turning off after an hour or two on the coldest day in MN. Damian is an excellent technician. He diligently worked on our furnace to diagnose and resolve the problem, no matter how long it took. We appreciated that he took the time to really understand the issue. We recommend Genz-Ryan!

We had a great experience with the team at Genz-Ryan having our furnace and AC replaced. From start to finish, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Project manager JP took the time to thoroughly explain our options and helped us choose the best system for our home at what we felt was a very reasonable price. We had outdated units and limited understanding of heating systems, and we appreciate him walking us through everything.

On installation day, service technicians Chris and Pedro arrived on time, worked efficiently, and treated our home with care. Our house was built in 1900, and Chris did an excellent job explaining how the new system would work with an older home. We are especially thankful for his extensive experience and knowledge, which clearly showed throughout the project.

Making a large purchase is never an easy decision, but working with a trusted team made the process much more comfortable. We look forward to working with Genz-Ryan again in the future!

Excellent service from start to finish. Tony was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the issue clearly and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. The service was efficient, honest, and stress-free. I really appreciated the attention to detail and respectful attitude. I would definitely recommend his services and will call Genz-Ryan again for any future need.

I told Ben I didn’t want to be upsoldand he offered an electronic filter for my heater. He also sold (gifted) me the membership agreement and said he would verify in writing I could cancel next year without a few. I still haven’t received that verification. I won’t accept the agreement until I get that.

The plumbing estimate was very high priced with no details regarding the servce, new equipment that would be installed. I am reviewing other options. Gage is talented, helpful and personable.

We had our first experience with GenzRyan today, and will continue to work with them for all HVAC needs. Our technician, Tanner, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He took time to explain things to us and took care in his work. There was no nickel & diming - just high-quality, professional work at a fair price. We had a whole house air duct cleaning, and a dryer vent cleaning. We are sold!

We just had a new furnace installed by Francisco and Chris. They were fast, professional and friendly to work with! I also want to give a shout out to JP and Bryce who helped diagnose the issue and offer us affordable solutions on short notice. Chris and Pedro did an awesome job installing a new air conditioner in a 125 year old home that has never had one before! There were multiple surprises but everything was explained to me as it was happening. It's still too cold to run the AC but I'm very excited to have one this summer! Thank you so much!

We had nothing but the best experience with Genz Ryan when having to replace our electrical panel. Luis came up with an alternative that saved us almost half the cost of one of their competitors. Had our furnace quit working in the middle of the night. Mike H. Was at the house by 7:30am on the coldest day of the year, to start looking at it. Explained what happened and the options. We decided to replace the furnace, air cond. and April Air due to them all being the same age. Very pleased and it was so nice to actually get someone the same day not to mention someone answering my call at 5:30am. Installers Chris F. And Jacob P. arrived a few hours later and installed all of it in less than 8 hours. Amazing. Chris was very knowledgeable and willing to explain things when I had questions. Jacob is new but seems very willing to learn and eager to work, which is rare now days. They both really worked well together. My family and I are very appreciative for all the hard work of everyone involved. Great job by all. Definitely recommend this company.

Alex, Waldo, and Ryder were all great guys and worked hard and late to get everything done same day for me. They provided some great on-site music too.

I would like to say, a companies employees say alot about a company. I just had a young man named Lefty come out and do some maintenance on my system. He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had, with a smile. 👍👍👍
Also Had another young man Steve Doll who was a plumber come later and showed me some problems I had. He gave me a price to fix my pipes and completed the work. I am very pleased with the work and knowledge of these young men. Great job hiring great people. I would and will recommend Genz - Ryan to all my friends and neighbors. 👍👍👍

Tony was awesome, he diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes of arriving at our house and facilitated getting an electrican out the same day to fix the box at the furnace. He was also good at explaining the issue and our options for further preventive maintenance.

Overall Genz Ryan was able to send someone within 2 hours of us contacting them which was far faster than any other company could and seeing as how it was already into the upper 50s in our house that was greatly appreciated

I called Genz-Ryan to help us out with a plumbing issue.. our kitchen sink wasn’t draining properly. Eulises was sent out and was professional, kind and thorough from the first point of contact to the last. He explained the situation, laid out a few options.. he wasn’t pushy or anything like that.. just a matter of fact and laid out the pros and cons. He was super kind in answering all my random plumbing questions - he is truly excellent at what he does. I’d give him a 10/10 - he’s awesome and does great work. Highly recommend.

Noah came out to help me with a leak in my furnace today amd I could not be more appreciative. He is honest and hard working, and he was extremely pleasant. I had a wonderful time talking with him about faith and family and he is doing a great job repairing my furnace and gas lines.
