Tim Hammack was fantastic to work with. He showed up on time on a Saturday, quickly diagnosed the HVAC issue, and clearly explained what was going on and how he fixed it. He was highly knowledgeable, professional, and efficient throughout the visit. Really appreciated the clear communication and great service, would absolutely recommend Tim.

We had Blue Ox H&A come to our home for 1 of 5 quotes on a new furnace/ac install. AJ was amazing! He explained everything in great detail but understandable terms an unknowing person can comprehend. He suggested questions that I should be asking that I wasn’t aware of, educated me on the differences of systems available and was honest about the needs of our home. We appreciated the honest and straightforward service and look forward to using Legendary services for our ongoing needs.

I had Isaac from Blue Ox come out today after experiencing a very concerning situation where I smelled burning coming from my furnace. He responded quickly and was at my home within an hour and a half of my call.

Isaac immediately diagnosed the issue and took the time to clearly explain and show me exactly what was happening. When he arrived, I let him know I was fully prepared to replace the furnace if necessary, but instead of pushing a sale, he was honest, thorough, and transparent about my options. He also explained their Legendary Membership program, which ended up costing me nothing during today’s visit.

This was one of the few times during a home service or upgrade process where I truly did not feel taken advantage of. Blue Ox has earned my trust, and I will be using them to replace all of my HVAC equipment moving forward. Blue Ox responded immediately to our request. They came out in the morning for the sales call and both the AC and furnace were installed before the day was through. They were timely, responsive to all our requests and concerns, efficient, and professional. We are extremely happy with the service, the installation process and the new furnace and A/C. I would recommend them to everyone.

Our Furnace went out right before the coldest day of the year. Issac Xiong was the tech that came out and did a great job of explaining the issue and what my options were. He was very knowledgeable. When it was determined that we required a new furnace Andrew Tolzmann did a fantastic job of laying out our options and what would work best for our budget.

Had system maintenance since we haven't had it done since we moved in over a year ago. Suspected it needed a good cleaning. Sure enough, it did. As with everything in this area, prices are obscene. But didn't have much of a choice. Tech was professional and courteous, so no complaints there. But it seems crazy to charge what amounts to $400-500/hour for services. Sadly seems to be the way of things in the Twin Cities area. No wonder everyone does crappy hack jobs themselves. Who can afford a professional that charges so much? That said, they aren't the worst priced we've encountered so far.

Had an issue with my furnace. Not working on a very cold Saturday. Contacted Blue Ox and they sent somebody over to take a look at it. Unfortunately, the part that I needed was not available from the manufacturer until Monday. Got some great advice from the technician on how to keep my house warm. They returned bright and early Monday morning with the proper part. Had me up and running by 10:00 a.m.. great people to work with actually seem to care about my issue and we're very prompt with all their services. Highly recommended!

Blue Ox was absolutely wonderful for our furnace debacle the past few days. Charles was the service tech who patiently went through everything with us. Jon was great explaining the differences in new furnace options and we appreciated that he did not try to upsell us. Alan was our installer and did a fabulous job, especially with the cord management. He also helpfully walked us through the new features and how to quickly check on everything if the furnace wasn't working for some reason. Finally we had Dan come out to help us with the thermostat issues after the furnace was installed. All in all, 12/10 service and would highly recommend. They were great and we're looking forward to seeing them for routine visits in the upcoming years!

Imagine waking up in a cold house with no furnace! Within a couple of hours Jayden (repair technician) was here presenting options on repair. Because I the furnace was 25 years old, we decided to replace rather than repair. Later that same day, a salesperson arrived.Brian Anderson did a beautiful job showing us lots of options and helped us decide between the best combo of features vs price. And the solution was not the most expensive! He provided space heaters to until installation could be done the next day. The next day, the furnace and air technicians & installers were here: on time, very clean and did a great job!
Thank you John Bien and Brandon Wilhelms! Then, Tim Kane (such a knowledgeable technician and teacher) installed an state of the art electronic air cleaner. Our ductwork cleaning is scheduled soon as part of the air cleaning purchase (check this out).

I don't often take the time to write reviews but this company did an outstanding job for us. Hope this is helpful to anyone looking for a good company heating and Air company to use. We'll be using them again soon bc we have some projects requiring plumbing and electrical work which Blue Ox also does.

We had another company come out as our AC had stopped working and I noticed the blower fan was not starting. They came out, said yep it’s the fan and quoted me way too much. I had Blue Ox come out for a free second estimate. Charles, who was amazing, said since I am here I can check the whole thing over for you. He went over the 23 year old furnace with me and showed me what was wrong. We needed it serviced anyway for the sale of our home. Once we found out we just needed a new furnace Blue Ox was very understanding of our situation. We met with AJ who gave us a great deal on a new furnace especially compared to other quotes.
I would highly recommend Blue Ox and will be using them again if I need anything. The furnace was installed in one day and works great!

Wyatt came in for a furnace tune-up and was great. He ended up finding a a couple leaks inside and talked me through them, showed me everything with pictures and a snake camera so I could see for myself and provided his recommendations. He came back to replace both pieces of leaking equipment and noticed the flame sensor was also dirty so he cleaned that off. Everything was professionally handled, well explained and prices seemed reasonable based on what else is out there.

Superb service! Came out to fix my furnace on a weekend; the technician was able to get the part needed and had my furnace up and working in less than 90 minutes!!! I am so grateful for Blue Ox. I highly recommend using this company. I signed up for their annual maintenance plan and will continue to call these guys for my HVAC needs.

Dan Treptau came out to help when my parents’ furnace suddenly stopped working, and we had a great experience with him. He actually showed up much earlier than we anticipated, which was amazing and very much appreciated.

Dan was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he was doing and helped us understand what was going on with the furnace instead of just rushing through the job. That really meant a lot to us.

My furnace stopped working the evening of Tuesday February 24th, 2026, I called Blue Ox because thier poster was on the furnace. They were able to schedule appointment between 8am and 10am Wednesday February 25th. Blaine was at my house a few minutes after 8am on Wednesday. It turned out my furnace was about 13 years old and repairs would cost over $3,000, Blaine recommended purchasing a new furnace which I believed was a better option. He also mentioned that there were finance options available. It cost just under $100 for the diagnosis. For the new furnace I believe Jon and Jeff from Blue Ox were the technicians we worked with. I believe Jon started and Jeff joined later. I was informed the new furnace would cost just under $7,000 and they worked with us right away to get approved for financing. Once approved they worked right away and completed installing the new furnace pretty quick.

Blaine, Jon, and Jeff were all very professionals and all seemed to know their job very well. I had a new born in the house and they came through for me with this furnace issue when needed most. I cannot thank all of the technicians who worked with my husband and I to resolve the furnace issue enough.

The furnace gave out in the middle of the night. Early in the morning, I called 3 HVAC companies and Blue Ox was the first to send someone out with an estimate. AJ was professional, thorough and his recommendations matched what I had researched on my own (so I knew he wasn't pulling one over on me).

They put my installation on the schedule for the following day. Victor did a solid job (see pic) and was very mindful of not making too much noise or too much mess.

Price: I received 2 other quotes that were $500 and $700 cheaper thank Blue Ox, however, I believe I got what I paid for in Blue Ox's professionalism, timeliness and quality of work. I'll gladly pay a little bit more for the peace of mind.
