He efficiently replaced our drain pipe with minimal disruption and ensured everything was working perfectly before leaving. Truly fantastic experience! They were great communicators before the work and during the process. They did a bit of additional caulking just to help me out and gave me lots of good advice with how to reduce wear on the shower/faucet. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to get anything plumbing related completed in their home!

We've used Erik Nelson Plumbing twice now — Simon then John, with GM Justin on the phone both times. From small leaks and old galvanized pipe to incorrectly piped water to our fridge and solutioning an incorrectly vented fixture our experience has been wonderful. Without fail, they're experts through and through, who also happen to be personable, courteous, honest and punctual. It's kinda fun to watch a plumber who's really good at what they do make sense of (then efficiently fix) the bonkers handyman-special stuff that winds up in a 100 year old home like ours. Keep doin what you're doin guys. Looking forward to using you again next time and recommending you to whoever I can.

For many years now, since our previous house needed emergency electrical work after a storm we have had a great relationship with our electrician. We can trust him to be straight, fair and reasonable with us.

I've always looked for a similar relationship with a plumber. We've had a variety of experiences with plumbers but haven't found one we can trust that takes good care of our 100 year-old house.

I can safely say we finally have this with Erik Nelson plumbing. Today they came in to install a faucet in our bathroom and were timely, straight with me and reasonably priced. They explained what they did and even put on new shutoff values without needing to drain the house.

They fixed a drain on our tub and brought it up to code.

Nov. 23, 2021 update:
We had a shower faucet handle that was covered under Kohler warranty. They replaced it and showed me how it was done.

There was a leaky laundry tub faucet that they were able replace and upgrade the shutoffs and add hammer arrestors.

Nick and Tim did a great job and a little under the cost we originally thought it would be.

April 4, 2022 update:
ENP just installed a new water heater and again came in a bit below what I expected. They also took the time to explain the features of the new water heater.

Absolutely excellent professionals. Looking forward to working with them for years to come.

March 31, 2025 update:
They just replaced our shut-off valve for the backyard faucet and it looks great. Another high-quality outcome from ENP.

I have had many contractors come to my home and were...ok. Always some communication issue. Erik Nelson Plumbing responded right away, the plumber showed up ON TIME! Totally professional, forthright/honest about best and worst case scenarios so there were no surprises. The project was to install new fixtures for my kitchen sink--which wasn't as easy as it sound due to manufacturer not making tiny part anymore--and they installed new parts for my toilet. I would call them again, no question about it!

We originally planned to replace an old toilet ourselves, but after receiving the new one, we figured it would be better to have an expert do it to avoid any costly mistakes. We called Erik Nelson Plumbing on a Monday, and they scheduled us for the following Monday. Tim showed up right on time, assessed the situation, gave us an estimate, and started working right away. To say he was polite, friendly and efficient would be a massive understatement. Since there's a second toilet we need to replace later, we asked if he'd mind our watching and asking questions while he worked. Not only did he do an expert job, he carefully explained each step and pointed out all the stuff to look out for when we eventually tackle the next one ourselves.

We wholeheartedly recommend Erik Nelson Plumbing and won't hesitate to call them for our next plumbing job.

I had Nick and Simon from Erik Nelson Plumbing come to my home today to replace my bathtub hardware, fix some issues with hot water to the upstairs of my home, and install a couple isolation valves.

They were amazing. Professional but personable. Thoroughly explained my options, root causes, and any unknowns they encountered. They quickly troubleshot and fixed my hot water issues. They were also very proactive when they saw something that wasn't working they either quickly addressed it and/or brought it to my attention. I'm very grateful to have that issue resolved.

The bathtub hardware they replaced was on an older 2 handle faucet that they converted to a modern single handle faucet. The end result looked much better than I expected. The construction plate they used looks great, covers the holes, and matches the faucet.

They exceeded my expectations, communicated everything clearly, and came in well under the estimate they had initially provided since some of the issues were easier to fix than anticipated.

When I call ENP I know I’m getting great service. I appreciate Justin’s call from the office to talk through my problem prior to scheduling. Our conversation leads to better understanding of my repairs and estimate labor. In January Jaron’s on-site leak investigation helped me avoid an unnecessary shower drain repair. Recently Jaron was back for a quick faucet and drain replacement. Everyone at ENP is professional and provides their best, honest assessment for my plumbing repairs. I highly recommend them for any size job.

Absolutely excellent service! Personable, professional, and knew what they were doing. They were able to come out the next day to help with a messed up drain in the bathroom pedestal sink in my 100 year old home. In addition to fixing the issue in under an hour (the minimum visit time), Tim took the extra time to teach me about the rest of the bathroom's plumbing so that I knew what to keep an eye out for in the future.

I really appreciate the pricing structure since they only charge for the time it takes, rather than a fixed cost per "item." Every project is different and they were up front about the scope of work. It sounds expensive at first, but ended up less than hiring a drain cleaning company, and they were able to fix plumbing issues and teach me in the process.

I'd use Erik Nelson Plumbing again in a heartbeat!

We had a great experience recently with Erik Nelson Plumbing. We were new clients, yet they still scheduled a visit for within a couple days of our call. We had several plumbing issues that Tim handled expertly. He was also very pleasant and volunteered to teach us how to take care of one of the issues ourselves in the future (toilet gasket replacement). He was also wonderfully kind to our gentle but somewhat nervous dog. She loved him! This company is now our go-to one for all our plumbing needs.

We’ve used Erik Nelson Plumbing for three years, and they’ve been consistently great. Tim just installed a new sink and toilet in our bathroom, and he did an excellent job. He got called away midday to work on another project, but called us in the afternoon to make sure he could come finish our project, and stayed very late in the day until it was done, well after the time I imagine he would normally have finished. This was on the eve of a holiday weekend, too, and he stayed late just so we could have a functional bathroom over the long weekend. Every time he made a recommendation, he made sure I understood the pros and cons of each choice. Every plumber that has come to work on our house has been highly skilled, ethical, and friendly. We’re glad Erik Nelson is in the neighborhood!

John and Moulay did an absolutely stellar job with our laundry room remodel project. They are true professionals, with workmanship and attention to detail that is second to none! On top of that, they are both just good people to work with and I felt confident and trusting through the entire process. They went above and beyond the original scope of work and still came within the original estimate range. We now have rid our home of corroding galvanized steel drain pipes and it comes as major relief. I would recommend ENP to anyone and will certainly be contacting them again for future plumbing projects!

We had them stack our new washer and dryer and do work on the gas line, water supply, and vent to outside. This cost more than the usual flat rate appliance store gas appliance install, but it’s the difference between just getting machines up and running and attention to detail and satisfaction. The laundry corner of our small old basement needed some improvement. I really appreciated the neat and thorough work they ended up doing—securing the copper line to the wall, adding water and gas shutoffs closer to the point of use, replacing the sketchy old dryer vent and termination, and installing hammer arrestors. Now our washing machine doesn’t make an awful racket when filling, the gas and water lines and hookups are much neater and safer, and we recovered storage space by stacking our machines.

Nice people working here too. It took a few days to hear back after calling as a new customer and a couple weeks to have them out, which I expected from their answering machine message, but they were so pleasant on the phone and both guys working in our home were very polite to my wife and I. They communicated everything very well. Their hourly rate is very fair in my opinion based on the quality of work and their professionalism. We will hire them again!

I've used Erik Nelson Plumbing for my last 2 plumbing jobs. One involved a dripping bathtub faucet (cartridge replacement) and replacing shut-off valves; the other (most recent) involved a leaking toilet. After my first experience, I decided these were my plumbers. They were timely, straightforward yet friendly, and communicated clearly about every step of the jobs. Their work, appears to have been thorough and impecable and their fees are on target given the quality of their work. Don't let their phone message intimidate you. These guys are great (and they DO respond to their voice mail).

Our house experienced a burst water tube that went to our ice-maker refrigerator. This tubing was not code-compliant and caused huge amounts of damage. After calling around to get quotes, Erik Nelson Plumbing (ENP) was out here giving us a quote on replacing and updating faster than other companies. Their quote for bringing the water line up to code and adding multiple shutoff valves was FAR below 2 other companies we looked into ($1,500 quote vs $600 quote). We now have code-compliant water lines and water line shut off valves which are far more accessible to us than before! It's such a peace of mind!

The plumbers were so kind and did not ever make it feel as if they were trying to pressure us into anything. We worked with John who was so knowledgeable, kind, considerate, very professional, and efficient. He also showed interest in providing us with additional answers to different plumbing questions and issues we had. Additionally, it was nice to support this local smaller company.
