We ended up scheduling many services after hiring Gale Home Builders & Chimney Repair Services Inc. to evaluate our chimney. A little wasp nest in the attic was discovered and destroyed by their pest control specialist. Vents were secured and roof flashing was resealed. We had been noticing an odd smell for months, which the gas fireplace specialist identified and resolved. Their general contractor didn't urge us for more work and thoroughly described every step of the procedure. The outcomes—greater insulation, healthier air, and peace of mind—speak for themselves.

I had been putting off chimney work for a while and finally contacted Gale Home Builders & Chimney Repair Services Inc in Missouri. Eddie was prompt, professional, and clearly experienced. He performed a deep fireplace cleaning, chimney odor removal, and chimney cap installation. We chose a stainless steel chimney cap for its durability, and he explained the benefits clearly. He also repaired the old chimney chase cover and performed a small fireplace repair. I appreciated that he didn’t upsell or rush the job—he took the time to do it right. The entire process was smooth and affordable. I’m very happy with the results and will definitely be calling them again.

I had Gale Home Builders & Chimney Repair Services Inc come out last week, and Ricky did a fantastic job. He began with chimney cap repair, fixing a small leak that had caused issues for years. His chimney lining services were excellent, making sure everything was safe and secure. The fireplace cleaning service was so thorough—it felt like brand new again. He also performed a fireplace repair service that restored our damper. I added chimney heat shield service for extra safety, and it was installed quickly. The chimney cap installation service was professional, and the chimney rebuild service gave the structure more strength. Everything was done efficiently and affordably. Called after wind storm blew up some of our shingles. Sent them a picture of the damaged shingles and they came out and replaced damaged shingles the following day.

We have been very pleased with the great work that the guys did. Randy was very nice and helpful when explaining things and showing us the progress. We would definitely recommend and/or use them again if need be in the future.

Note - Response is not Valid RJM Roofing - although I appreciate you taking the time to response. Our complaint still holds as is, My mother has $500 worth in paint that she will not need or use because of poor material management on your part. I was able to find a 1 Gallon paint for what you claimed was only available in 5 gallons. On a fixed income $500 just sitting around in paint is not helpful. If you would like to do the right thing, we would like the refund for the paint as stated.

Unethical business practices by Owner Robert of RJM. I am disturbed that this owner, a professional in this business would be able to sleep at night knowing that he made an mistake and/or took a shortcut but refuses to the right thing. I would recommend if you need your house painted look elsewhere and read below.

My mother contracted RJM Roofing for an exterior paint job of her home in September 2020. She paid for the services rendered in full. At the completion of the job, my Mother noticed she had an extra 5 gallon unopened bucket of paint. Total cost about $500 including taxes. She asked owner Robert to refund the cost of the leftover paint as it was obvious that 1. she did not need 5 gallons for touchup 2. he poorly managed materials needed.

Robert refused stated that it was her paint and he had no use for it. I spoke to Robert on behalf of my Mother. As for her, $500 on paint she has no use for is a lot of money as on older person on a fixed income.

I asked him why there was so much leftover paint this was a big red flag for me. Robert stated that he couldn't get the 1 gallon in the paint at Sherwin Williams for he bought the 5 Gallon instead. I looked up the same paint using the item number off of the invoice we got from Sherwin Williams from the materials and was able to find the 1 gallon bucket in seconds. Moreover, I spoke to Sherwin Williams and they stated they could have gotten it on special order (Covid-19 had delayed inventory in stock but available online)

Robert as an expert, could have either 1. only purchased 1 -5 gallon bucket and notified my Mother that if more was needed he would have to special order it or 2. ordered the 1 Gallon even though it wasn't needed (The measurements of my Mothers house only required a 5 gallon bucket) for touchups in the future.

For whatever reason, RJM Roofing owner, took a shortcut and/or made a mistake and is now refusing to correct it. I get it, we all make mistakes but part of being an accountable, ethical business owner is making those wrongs, right. Standing beside your service and ensuring your customer is treated fairly.

Considering in this case it means a refund of 6.25% of the total sale, I think that's a small price to pay to make things right.

Nothing but class act this company. Handled my claim from start to finish. My Roof looks great. Couldn’t be happier.
