I run a NextDoor chat and was recommended to give Skaggs a try, as give both military/senior discounts and north, a plus in my book. Called at 10am had tech here by 3pm. Super nice young man, knowledgeable, and was able to get my heat going with in the hour. Reliability key. The manager a seasoned HVAC expert that shored up my questions, understood any concerns, and was respectful, another huge plus. I will happily recommend this company to all of my Huntington Park neighborhood, and for those that are looking for a new HVAC company that are not the big box guys.

Based on my experience, I don't know how you could go wrong hiring Skaggs. It's hard to overstate my appreciation for the way we've been treated over the years, so this is not based on a single experience. It's cumulative. Like the movie 'Spinal Tap' where the speaker volume normally goes from 0-10, but Nigel says their speakers go to 11, Skaggs' customer service goes to 11.

Skaggs is always friendly, timely, and skilled. Today Jerod did a great job and got our air conditioning working quickly. He provided some education for me to prevent the issue in the future.

From there, the technicians, Lane and Josh, showed up on time as scheduled and efficiently replaced our unit. They were courteous, respectful and displayed exceptional mechanical skills throughout the removal and replacement process.

The boys did a good job. Skagg’s is the way to go if you need your AC system replaced or even maintained. After installation I smelled a little bit of gas it was late after hours. Jason(the owner) took his time to come to my house and made sure it wasn’t anything major, he did a thorough inspection and even send his team the next morning to triple check. They are awesome! In this day and age when competency is more of a miss than a hit in the trades, I took my chances with Skaggs HVAC to install a new system on 8-29-2025. I am very pleased with the workmanship and impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of workers. A special shout out to Ethan for being an outstanding representative for the company. I unhesitatingly recommend Skaggs to be at the top of your list for your HVAC needs. I have had interactions with other companies and all have been inferior to Skaggs for service and workmanship. I now know the only company I will choose for my future HVAC needs and those reading this review would be wise to follow suit. Skaggs HVAC company is top notch and second to none. Pleased customer.

The guys that came out to replace our heating and A/C unit today did a great job. Even vacuum the floor before they left. Will definitely use them again. I will recommend them to everyone. The price was very fair compared to other quotes I got. Great job Skaggs!

We were VERY impressed with Skaggs! We had multiple quotes from different companies (one telling us we needed a whole new unit for $12,000 and the other who told us it would be too hard to find a part and couldn’t get another guy out to our house). Ethan with Skaggs came and assessed the issue and had our AC unit up and running in an hour. We are incredibly thankful for this company. We’ve been nothing but impressed.
