I called Skaggs because I could smell propane around my furnace. They quickly came by and checked. They found a small leak and repaired right away.

These guys and gals are top notch. First and foremost they’re honest. The tech showed me pictures of the inside of my old furnace. It was kind of a fire hazard. Jason gave me a bid for a new system. These guys aren’t the cheapest in town and by far not the most expensive. I felt like I was getting a fair deal. You get what you pay for. Also I will say the techs that came to the house and were awesome hard working country boys. Honestly it was refreshing doing good handshake business again. I would highly recommend these fellas.

Sean was Courteous, friendly and professional. He provided useful information about maintenance that we can do between the scheduled visits. Great service and a nice guy.

The 2 gentlemen were great. They were on and out in a very timely manner. I have used Skaggs for over 20 years. No complaints. I recommend this business to everyone.

I woke up with absolutely no heat in the house and called to see when they could come take a look at my unit. They were here within 4 hrs and the tech was very upfront and honest with me, told me the cost and got to work right away. The tech was very kind and professional. I had a great experience with Skagg's. This was my first time using them and they were easy to schedule, I received a text before the technician showed up to let me know that he was on his way, and it was an easy process! I scheduled them just to have the filters changed and checked over and they found an issue and repaired it quickly.

I called them today with needing my furnace filters replaced and the furnace checked out. The lady that I spoke to was very nice and helpful. Sean showed up a hour later and did a great job! Very courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely call them again for anything that comes up.

I called them at 8:30pm on Tuesday and scheduled an appointment for a repair for 5:30pm on Wednesday. The time came and went and still no call. I tried to call at 6:15 and left a voicemail. I waited til 7:00pm before just leaving to go to church. My wife called at 8:45pm and she left a voicemail letting them know that we have 4 kids and its 87 degree's in the house and never did I get a response back from them. They installed the unit 2 years ago into a new house that I bought and I told them that it should be under warranty and they said that's ok, well it looks like that is why they probably didn't want to fix it. Good news though I called AIR SERVICES and they were out that same day and fixed the issue. Turns out the set screw wasn't tightened down enough and the fan was able to move making a loud screeching noise. I will not be using them again.

The team got out to my house and had my issue resolved in less than a hour. The technician was a pleasure to deal with. The cost for the repair ended up being considerably less than the quote. I would suggest Show-Me to anyone at any time!!!

Excellent customer service. The process, what I needed, how things should work; everything was broken down and explained to me in a way that I could understand without being talked down to.
They have been out to install all new HVAC for both zones of my house. Always prompt and professional but you definitely feel they have your best interests at heart and aren't 100% there for just the paycheck.
Would absolutely recommend to family, friends and strangers.

If you're having problems with your HVAC unit Daryl Hopkins with Show-Me Heating & Cooling is the person to call. He works through the Home Depot and I would highly recommended him. I had a bad experience with someone else who only wanted to sell me a full new system so I called Daryl for a second opinion. He came out quickly and solved the problem saving me a ton of money. I did not really need a new system yet. My old unit is now working better than ever. I wish I would have found this guy as my first call.

I had a great experience with Show Me Heating & Cooling! They came out after I requested help through Home Depot. The units came with a rebate and long warranty. What really made my experience great is the owner, Darrell Hopkins. He was pleasant, oriented to my needs and nowhere near as pushy as other HVAC reps. His integrity is outstanding. He misquoted the amount I'd get for the rebate from Home Depot, telling me I'd get $400 dollars. When Home Depot sent me a rebate of $150, he mailed me a check for the difference! I would use this company again.

We got this company when we contacted Home Depot. James came out and installed a furnace and AC unit in April 2023. He gave me a quote for his company. I asked how do we go through Home Depot, he said it would be about 10% more if we go through them and cheaper if we go directly through his company so that is what we did. In May 2025 the AC was not cooling. After contacting him a few times he kept telling me he was out of town for several weeks and call someone else. I called Home Depot and found out they no longer do business with him because he was being dishonest and changing prices on things and telling people it’s cheaper to go directly with his company and cutting out Home Depot. I called another company to come out and they found it was not installed up to code, there was not disconnect switch out by the AC unit like the code requirement states. (Photo shows where switch should be) There was another wire inside the unit that was loose and not installed well. Things were not tightened as much as they should’ve been so it was leaking! I would not recommend Show-Me and would not trust him to do work for me again!
