I heard my furnace making gurgling sounds at 4 am. Called Armitage a little after 8 am. In about an hour, a tech was at my house and fixed the issue. I'm a satisfied customer.

I have been a radio personality in this area for 25 years. I’ve always shot straight and honest with my listeners. When I personally endorsed a product or service I always do my due diligence to make sure the service and or product is the highest in quality and the company is loyal to their customers. I found this out firsthand.
I would like to include 5 stars rating for service because during the day before Thanksgiving my furnace stopped working. Jeff, the owner of Armitage heating and cooling, came to our home. All I can say is Thanksgiving was saved.
Also 5 stars for their Rheem air conditioning products, I mean really, it just doesn’t get any better than Rheem!

We’ve used Armitage for the past two years and we are very pleased with their service. We had a ghostly whistle coming from our unit which they creatively resolved and they replaced our worn out furnace which now works very well. In addition, they provide a very helpful seasonal service of equipment maintenance and filter replacement for a reasonable charge. Their staff is friendly and professional. They come when they say they will come, charge what they estimate it will cost, and make me feel at ease when they are in our home.

They came the same day and got our problem figured out and resolved expeditiously. Good job!

Jeff and the rest are easy to reach, always seemingly available, delivered what I asked for. I used to size HVAC systems for industrial users, so this isn't something I know little about. I asked for a copy of the sizing calcs, options, etc. I quoted other local contractors, Armitage was both least expensive and most complete. John and his crew were in and out in a short day (short for me, anyway), and came back the next day to check on things and replace a connection they didn't like. We ended up needing a repair related to their work, and they took are of it in a timely and friendly fashion. Jeff gave some references for other mechanical contractors that turned out to be really top-notch, as well. I recommend that anyone in the Springfield metro area at least ask for a quote from Armitage.

Last month our very old air conditioner failed at the peak of the heat wave. I had recently had back surgery, my wife also needing hip surgery and we have a household of pets. We immediately called Armitage and Ashley acted quickly after realizing the situation we were in! Help was sent in hours, loaned us a portable room air conditioner until they could repair our unit. We ended up needing a new air conditioner unit due to ours was way too old to repair. This service was truly outstanding during a very stressful time! We had a water damage claim and Armitage was the company that our mitigation company used to remove the furnace and water heater as part of our dry out. We ended up having to get a new furnace in the process. It is the dead of summer and his crew literally stayed until almost 8pm to get the work done because they knew we were on a time crunch to get home. Very professional, very friendly, and hardworking.
