Our air conditioner that runs our upstairs quit working on us. We contacted a local HVAC company to come do a diagnostic test on both units (one for upstairs and one for main level). He was incredibly nice and seemed well informed but he told us that the compressor had most likely gone out and we would have to purchase a new one for around $2,200. He did top off the coolant in our main level air conditioner but was unable to do much with the upstairs unit that we were having trouble with. He said the compressor was locked up and we would need a new one. All in all, his services totaled $200 and we were right back where we started. No AC.

We were on day 2 with our upstairs reaching as high as 98ﾟ.

If we were going to have to pay over $2,000 I thought I had better get a second opinion, just incase.

I called Rick at HVAC Masters. He was able to come out and do his own diagnostic within just a couple hours of me contacting him. He was able to figure out what the problem was and take care of it quickly and efficiently. We now have a fully functioning air conditioning unit again and it only cost us $130!

Don't waste your money on other HVAC companies.

We are particular about who we want at our home, & inside our home. HVAC Masters delivers the trust we desire, as well as great customer service. The employees are top notch, in our experience. I like the fact that you can get the owner on the phone if you need that.

You may find a slightly cheaper heating and cooling company in SW Missouri, but I doubt you will find anyone better, more professional, & w/good scheduling practices.

We live pretty far outside the greater Springfield metro area, & we get taken care of as if we were neighbors. They installed the entire new system in our home over a decade ago, & stand behind their work. I rarely do Google reviews, but they make it easy.

Company and Jared were great. After sending a message that I was needing assistance with an air conditioner, they called set appointment and Jared showed up. He was very thorough. He found and explained everything that was going on. I did sign up for a preventative maintenance program which was very reasonable. Looking forward to receiving my services from HVAC Masters.

Josh did an awesome job of troubleshooting, and fixed a problem that had vexed me for quite awhile! Showed up on time, very professional. Great experience!

I noticed our coils were frozen about a week ago. I let them thaw and tried to kick on the fan the next day to expedite the process but it was the fan that was the problem. It's not hard to diagnose a faulty fan. Every single HVAC company refused to give me a quote over the phone for replacing a bad ECM motor. "We have to come out and diagnose it first, and then the cost of the diagnosis will go towards the repair" GIVE ME A BREAK. I was basically asking an equivalent to "what would you charge to change my car's oil?" and getting the response "well, you have to pay us to check your oil and if that's the case then we'll give you a bid."

Rick Lowe was the only person who would be so kind as to give me a quote, to which I even said that I would still be happy to pay his diagnostic fee, to which he replied that it wouldn't be necessary because the symptoms checked out. He could have been greedy like all the other shady businesses to get that diagnostic fee, but he is the only one out of the 17 others that I called that truly had respect for a neighbor in need. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats that are used to a 74 degree home, and I'm limited on the times that I can take them to my business to cool down. They were having as tough a time as we were in an 86 degree home. Rick and his amazing son Brandon are the professionals I'm going to call when I have another problem. Every other company I called will be getting a scathing 1 star review for being so greedy and arrogant. Thank you for earning my business Rick, and I'm happy to know I have someone I can depend on. Your pricing was extremely fair and your lead time was life-saving. It was extremely difficult to run our own business while cooking for nights in a row. Moreover, Brandon was exceptionally kind, respectful, and an incredibly hard worker.

Josh did an outstanding job. The first air conditioning person that has been here that has taken the time to really find out what is wrong with my unit. I've had a lot of HVAC. People tell me that I need a new AC. Now we know what's wrong with it and Josh has fixed it. I will will use this company again.

Wow! I fix most things myself around the house so I'm always very skeptical of service people. I was extremely pleased with the service HVAC masters provided. The tech listened to what we said and was genuinely interested in getting it fixed fast. I have a very old system so I was editing for the sales pitch. He told us the system was working great and we should be good to go. And only one hour of service. I will definitely use them for anything I need moving forward. All other HVAC companies just lost their potential at my business. Great job HVAC masters!

They came out when it was smoldering hot and actually troubleshot the problem and fixed it. They didn't just throw parts at it.

After a neighbor recommended HVAC Master, I called them to support my system needs. I'm glad I did. I purchased their annual program which makes me feel comfortable that my units are serviced every 6 months to insure there are working as they should.

I recently needed a new wall thermostat. I received a discount on the thermostat, they installed it, then the tech showed me show how to operate the new programable unit.
