New homeowner, and unfortunately I had some sewerage overflow in the basement.
Midwest responded very quickly and began restoring my basement.
Mike came by, introduce himself and his company with accurate documentations, he was very informal about his work and prices...and to mention, he and the other guys on the team were very professional.
If I ever need a restoration company in the future, it would definitely be Midwest 😊

This is my second time writing a review of Midwest Flood Restoration. Last year we had a faulty pipe that caused damage to our kitchen floor. Midwest Flood Restoration did an excellent job. This past Spring, a pipe burst in our upstairs bathroom, damaging that bathroom and the one adjacent, and dripping down onto the pendant lights in the newly renovated kitchen below. Midwest was able to help identify all the areas affected, which was extremely valuable information, and again their service was excellent. They are consistently professional and perform consistently quality work.

The professional from the time of my first call for help until the job was complete were superb. Everybody was helpful and understanding, but started working promptly. The process was explained clearly and followed exactly. I was very happy with all of the the people who came to my my home and who helped me on the on the phone. I recently was having rain water come up through the basement floor. The carpet was so soggy and this was not the first time it had happened. This time, the carpet was so saturated, I knew I could not salvage it. The water was located in 2 of the bedrooms and was it was getting worse. I was desperate to not have the water get to the family room carpet. I called Midwest Flood Restoration late Friday night. I was so thankful that Mike called me back later Friday night and said he would be here first thing on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning he arrived at 7:45 am!! He looked at the situation and we decided the best thing would be to get the 2 bedroom carpets removed. Much to my surprise he said he could have a crew here by 11:00 am. The crew was here at 11:00 am and pulled the carpet, moved furniture and hauled all the wet carpet out in bags, NO MESS! I was very, very thankful. Mike and his crew were so very kind, helpful, timely and professional! It is certainly a pleasure doing business with a company that has these timely and high work ethics! Thank you Mike and thank you to your crew.

I called Midwest Flood Restoration after mold formed from a plumbing issue. They responded promptly, and came to provide an estimate at a time was convenient for me. At the time of the estimate the process was explained thoroughly. I was also provided a pamphlet explaining the equipment and procedures used. On the day they started, they were there on time, and the owner of Midwest Flood Restoration was there to make sure everything was squared away. During the entire process they were EXCELLENT at communicating, worked with my budget and truly made this dreadful situation pleasant!

Rich and his crew did an excellent job cleaning up the mess from the water damage I sustained in early May. They were professional and courteous the whole time they were at my residence. I greatly appreciated the speed with which Midwest Flood responded and am now working to permanently fix the problem so water will not be an issue again in the future. It was reassuring to have someone walk me through the process so I knew what to expect. I would definitely recommend Midwest Flood if you have a water emergency!

Last January a second-floor pipe burst and caused significant damage to both floors and the basement. Mike and his team worked with our insurance company to do the best job they possibly could, which in my case was a lot. He also was very professional and in regular contact with resolving any issues that arose and surpassed my expectations for the scope and quality of the job. Excellent service!
We have used Midwest Flood Restoration twice in the last five years. Very happy with their service. Explains what water damage that has occurs and what are all the next steps. Mike contacts the insurance company, work men have always been prompt, very professional, gets the work finished. Very satisfies customers.

Mike and his team did an excellent job on remediating water damage in our guest bedroom. Called them on a Wednesday evening to see if they could give me a quote to repair water damage from a hole in our roof. Mike was at our house first thing the next morning and gave an honest and informative breakdown of what all would need to be done. He did not pressure us into anything at all and was very professional. Because of this, I decided to go with Midwest Flood Restoration and his team was at our house the next morning to complete the job. They were thorough, efficient and very polite! Can't thank them enough. Would highly recommend!

As a new home owner of a duplex, I was completely stressed out when I found that my upstairs tenant had caused water damage.

Robert came in and assessed the damage, gave me an estimate, and explained the damage and next steps to me. He even showed my tenant's boyfriend the moisture readings in the apartment. Fortunately or unfortunately, this was just less than my home insurance deductible.

The day they scheduled to tear out the upstairs kitchen and other remediation, I had a bunch of work meetings. When they were finished, they personally delivered my house key to my job, which was nice assurance and much safer than leaving the key in the mailbox or hiding it somewhere!

I was really pleased that the removal of the fans and the mold could be scheduled on a Saturday, so that I could get my birds out of the house for the day.

They took lots of pictures of the tear out and process and provided these to me promptly after paying. I really appreciated the thoroughness!

Just a good experience all around, considering the awful situation.
I sincerely hope that I never have to deal with water damage again, but if I do, I will be calling Midwest Flood Restoration to do the work!

Midwest Flood Restoration did an outstanding job addressing my water mitigation issue. They were prompt and professional. The entire crew was courteous and the crew chief explained the entire process.

They said the entire process would take 3 days to complete and that's exactly how long it took. MFR did an excellent job of keeping damage to a minimum under difficult circumstances.

I called Midwest Flood Restoration after we suffered water damage from a refrigerator leak. They came out almost immediately, assessed the damage, explained the process, and provided a quote. I gave them approval to move forward and they were able to have a crew out that afternoon. They prepared the damaged area and set the blowers and equipment in a reasonable time. Midwest’s staff cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. All communication was efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend them. They helped make a bad situation tolerable. It was great finding such a competent service!

Midwest Flood Restoration provided professional, friendly, and expert service that put me at ease throughout the process. Having a flooding situation can be a nightmare! Not with this company. They put my worries and concerns at ease. Would I use them again? You bet I would. Hopefully I won’t need to but if I have another disaster they are the company I will call. They are very reliable. Also the crew was very friendly and polite. They also separated my items that were wet from the dry ones. Bagged the wet ones and boxed all the dry items and sealed the boxes. I was so impressed! Midwest Flood was phenomenally easy to work with. Not only did they do an excellent job with our basement sewer backup remediation, but they worked directly with our insurance company and walked me through what I needed to do. We had a pipe under our sink come apart in the middle of the night. By the time we found the leak, a significant amount of water had flooded our home. Midwest Flood Restoration came quickly and got rid of the wet carpet and sprayed for mold. Then they put dehumidifiers in and dried out our house. It was a lot of damage, but their price was very good. They knew what they were doing and worked very quickly. I’m very impressed with their excellent work!

I’m so excited by the results of my latest project with Hamtil Construction in 2026. I’ve been working with Hamtil since 2021 on various home improvement and repair projects. This time I had them update my basement, (new carpeting, paint, lighting, repairs), completely redo the basement bathroom, and update my powder room on the first floor.
As with other projects, it starts with “Passionate” Paul and “Kreative” Kerry. They did not disappoint in the planning and designing of my project by listening to my wants, and designing what works for me and looks amazing. “Kind” Kurt was my project manager. He was easy to work with as my project started and then as it evolved into the incredible final result. While there were many Hamtil contributors, subcontractors and inspectors who worked on my project, Kurt coordinated everyone to make it high quality, functional and beautiful. Jackson “of All Trades” and “Able” Aaron talents were key in the implementation and synchronization of the many parts of my project. Of course, Dynamic Dave Hamtil oversaw my project construction, but trusts his people to get things done to Hamtil’s high standards of workmanship and customer service. I also want to call out a subcontractor, “Remarkable” Rich from RCH tile for his artistic talents and kind-heartedness in making my tile work so “rich”, fun, and pretty.
I enjoy working with Hamtil for their communication, conscientiousness, and crews. They will be my first call whenever I need improvements or remodeling at my home.
