I had the good fortune of getting in touch with Linda when I called Henry Kitchen and Bath. Linda gave me her time and attention and the customer service I received was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the company's products and solved my issue extremely fast without any hassle.

To make a long story of my terrible experience short- went in to this shop 2x looking for backsplash tile. The shop is a mess, tile display boards stacked on top of each other or against counters making it difficult to look at anything without sending other samples cascading on floor. The lady who 'helped' me both times was useless, when asked pricing on various tile her response was usually 'I don't know'. Took over 45 minutes to get my info for 3 samples and to get me pricing on 1 tile (though requested price on 2 tiles). Went back a week or so later as I had finally picked the tile I wanted from the samples. Walking up the steps there was a lady sitting at the first desk on the right and I asked her if there was someone could help me order tile. She LITERALLY glared at me for an uncomfortably long moment, smacked the top closed on her lunch contain, stood and actually threw it down into the trash can. Then very rudely and aggressively says, '(can't remember name she stated) was helping you yesterday'. I informed her I wasn't there the previous day and she snapped at me saying well, the other day then. She continues, mind you the woman is nearly yelling at me, that the person who I previously spoke to wasn't there. I tried to explain I only wanted to order tile. She kept telling me the other lady wasn't there and she couldn't go looking through her desk. I tried to ask what she needed to go through her desk for and that I simply wanted to order tile but she continued to cut me off and her demeanor was startlingly aggressive. I'd like to add, I'm a trauma nurse in a large ER, I deal with rude and/or aggressive behavior all day long, so I'm not overly sensitive about these things. I finally told her that she was quite rude and that I would not be purchasing anything from them. She denied being rude, and my mother, mother who was with me told her she was and that she didn't understand why she was talking to us in this manner. As I was walking out (I couldn't be in there any longer and continue to talk nicely) she was trying to explain to my mother that she would just have to sit and ask me all kinds of questions since the lady who previously helped me wasn't there. What questions, I don't know. Why this was a problem to have to ask me questions, not sure as that is her job. Save yourself a terrible headache and an enormous waste of time and don't go here. It took me weeks to finally pick tile, just to have to start all over again. I've never been talked to like this as a customer. I was both shocked and disturbed by her aggression.

Logan Trentadue of Henry Kitchen and Bath in Des Peres is an excellent designer. She helped me remodel my two upstairs bathrooms this summer and she knows what she's doing. This was my first time to have bathrooms completely remodeled and there were surprisingly many decisions to be made. I grew to trust Logan. She has a great sense of design and she's honest. She considers all factors, including budget, and will tell you what's worth doing. I'm very happy with the results and couldn't have done it without Logan. I'm a careful shopper and checked out other kitchen and bath companies. On the cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and hardware I chose, Henry's prices couldn't be beat. With all the valuable help Logan gave me for free, Henry was an outstanding value!

We are in the process of beginning our remodel. I was excited to come in and see what they had to offer. The employees could care less that I was in there, when I inquired about a cabinet I saw on line, the woman answered my questions but seemed put out that I was taking her away from her work. So I walked out.

I was referred to Henry Plumbing Kitchen & Bath by a Lowe's representative. I had a porcelain tub that required a custom set-up for a shower hook-up. They had a exactly what I needed, but outside of their stock, their service really stuck out to me. The rep I worked with at their Kingshighway location was Jay. This guy knew his stuff. He was really informative, helpful, and provided plenty of insight on what I needed and how I needed to set-up everything. I'll definitely be a returning customer.

We used Henry Kitchen & Bath to remodel our kitchen, and they did an amazing job. It turned out exactly as we had envisioned. We worked with Sara Pilch from a design standpoint and Augie as the lead contractor. I appreciated that HKB listed to our requests during the design phase, offered various suggestions and recommendations but never tried to over-sell anything. Augie and his team were thorough and professional. We had no worries of them at our house while we were at work, and all our questions and concerns were addressed timely. Would recommend HKB to anyone looking to tackle their kitchen!

Recap: I recommend going into the Henry showroom to look at things in person but never to purchase from here.
I work as a designer/GC coordinator and had a client who had purchased all of her plumbing fixtures for a large bathroom at Henry, which the plumber had recommended. A couple weeks after obtaining the fixtures, she decided to go with a different color scheme. We went through her receipts to find the return policy and there was nothing that was clear in the paperwork, so I had her call Henry. When she asked if there would be any issue returning the items, the sales associate said a cheerful, "No! Not at all." (I know this because I was present when the call was made on speaker phone). This was not the case. She was able to return the items that Henry had in stock for a full refund but anything that they had ordered through the supplier was subject to a 60 percent restocking fee, which applied to over $2000 worth of items. It would be one thing if the employee had told her that over the phone, and though it still would have been outrageous in my opinion, at least we would have known before purchasing the new fixtures. My client spoke to various Henry employees over the next week explaining the miscommunication but Henry never made it right. I have spoken with the plumber that we used and told him that any future job he does with us would not use Henry and suggested he not use them for other jobs as well.
Overall, I recommend going to Henry to see fixtures in person but never to buy from them. The same exact items are available at Amazon and Wayfair and their customer service is exponentially better, with no restocking fees and often free return shipping. Also, Kohler, Moen, Delta, etc will still honor any lifetime warranties if you purchase from Amazon or Wayfair. There's really no reason to purchase from Henry. I hope this saves someone else from losing a lot of money like my client did! -
We recently had an excellent experience with Henry Plumbing while selecting a vanity and sink for a powder room renovation. Their pricing met the online competition, but doing business locally made all the difference. We ordered a marble top bathroom vanity sink and it was shipped in from out of state. I picked it up and brought it home only to find that it had been damage in shipment. Gail S. (who set up the order for me) was excellent about facilitating the exchange. She went above and beyond by going to bat against the company (who claimed that we could have damaged the sink ourselves) and getting us a replacement shipped to us in an expedited fashion at no extra cost. Another great example of how shopping locally with a company that cares about its customers and reputation is totally worth it!

I ordered a custom diamond cabinet through HKB, this summer. The customer service was great, and the cabinet looks awesome. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because putting the fixtures in was much harder than it needed to be for this project. The cabinet arrived assembled, so the only thing to do was to put in the slides racks and drawers. For some reason they decided not put in any pilot holes, so i had to do all the measuring which is quite hard to do on a very tall already assembled cabinet. The builder could have gone that next step to put in the markings at least.

We used Henry Kitchen to remodel our master bathroom. We worked with Sara Pilch who was incredible! From the minute we met her she made the process so enjoyable and easy. Sara's expertise and knowledge allowed us to stay within our budget, and still have the beautiful design we had dreamed of. We've had so many great compliments from friends and family on how it turned out. I highly recommend using them and asking for Sara!

I have purchased kitchen fixtures in the past with good service, but my most recent experience was terrible. I am renovating my master bath. I went to Henry to select fixtures and obtain a bid for the work. They pushed certain brands, limiting the selection to view in their showroom. They came out to my house so they could bid the job. The representative did not even take the time to ask me what I was interested in doing. I was told work could begin within a month. A month later I had still not received a bid. It was only when I phoned them that a bid was finally sent out. I was very disappointed with their lack of customer service and will not shop there in the future. Crescent Plumbing personnel were much more friendly and helpful.

we have worked with them for many years and were very satisfied. Their contractors were clean, punctual, trustworthy and knew their work. The sales person Sara Pilch has earned our respect for answering phone calls, and being knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. There is nothing negative to say and we recommend them with the highest rating.

We ordered all the items for our bathroom remodel from Henry Kitchen and Bath, and are very pleased with the results. Everything looks beautiful and has a quality feel. We worked with Tina at the Kingshighway location, and she made the selection process a very pleasant experience. There are so many different products, it can be confusing and stressful to try to pick the right vanity, sink, toilet, flooring, etc. Having a designer with experience and expertise makes it so much easier. Tina took us through one item at a time and explained the options and prices. She answered all our questions and helped us pull it all together. I would highly recommend Henry Kitchen and Bath, but I do suggest making an appointment with a designer. There can be a lot of people browsing the showroom, and it may be difficult to find someone who isn't already working with another customer.

I had a good experience with Henry when picking out bathroom fixtures, but then received radio silence when I was ready to order after a few emails back and forth with questions/final details and measurements. Tried contacting the designer and the admin that paired us three more times to no avail. I guess we'll get the things we picked out from another store--I wouldn't have thought it was so hard to give a business several thousand dollars. Just be aware you might be wasting your time with them.

This was our first experience with a major bathroom remodel and Sara at Henry Kitchen & Bath significantly eased our anxiety. She helped us with all of our selection needs, worked with us on our price goals, and really helped give us the bathroom we wanted. I thought her and Rebecca’s follow up and assistance on multiple fronts was exceptional and I would (will) use them again on some upcoming projects we are planning. I thought it was telling when the plumbers weren’t sure if a fixture would fit on our bathtub, but when they heard Sara said it would they were completely confident! Sara, Thanks for all your help and guidance in this process to to give us the bathroom we wanted! Paul & Jean

*** BUYER BEWARE *** I purchased shower, vanity and bathtub fixtures from Henry Kitchen & Bath in Des Peres. I am remodeling my master bath. My sales associate, Robin, sold me on a certain brand knowing my need date. After I placed the order her communication went silent. 8 days after purchase she couldn’t tell me when the product would arrive. She said there was no one to call, I just needed to wait like everyone else. Meanwhile my contractor needed to finish the job. After a fight, I canceled the order. I went to Home Depot and purchased the exact same product except for shower head. Robin told me no other company offered a similar product. Now my bath looks great. Henry Kitchen & Bath is in business for one thing - COMMISSION!

Sara Pilch is such a great way to start the day! She greeted me on my arrival, offered water or coffee and was so cheerful. Customer Service is NOT dead. She then turned me over to Shannon Burch who went above and beyond to help me with my needs. She found the equipment I wanted and was incredibly helpful. Great store and the employees are happy.

Best Customer Service EVER! Laura was so helpful. I went in to purchase a replacement nozzle because the one I had from 15+ years ago broke. I called other parts stores and no one was able to help. She dropped what she was doing, called other team members to help search for my part. They found what I needed - in the store and called the manufacturer for me. Great team effort! They saved me over $1000 in a remodel. I will definitely go back to see her when I am ready to remodel. Beautiful tile, faucets and more to choose from. I am one happy customer!

Walking into Henry Kitchen and Bath was a big mistake. My wife and I went to them for what should have been a small project: bathroom sink, vanity, and cabinetry. They told us it would probably take a few months to get everything ordered, scheduled, and completed. Almost a year later and the project is still not completed.
It was a comedy of errors from the start. First, they forgot to order the sink/counter. Then they ordered, delivered, and installed the wrong sink/counter. Then they forgot to order the handles/knobs for the cabinetry. Then they ordered the wrong handles and knobs. Promises were always made and most of the time they were broken. Excuses and delays. Excuses and delays. Making matters worse, communication was abysmal.
But here is what my wife and I found most unforgiveable: at no time in this entire ordeal were we ever provided an apology; no recognition of how outrageous it was that a project that was originally expected to be completed in May 2022 was still unfinished in January 2023; no acknowledgement that the inconvenience that we were going through wasn’t normal. Is this business as usual for them? Maybe.
Henry Kitchen and Bath made it crystal clear that they didn’t care and that they weren’t willing to take any responsibility for their mistakes. They were very adamant about us paying upfront. But not so adamant about doing the job correctly or in a reasonable amount of time.
Run – don’t walk – away from Henry Kitchen and Bath. It was a horrendous experience. -
Stopped in today to see if we could find a few unique pieces for our remodel since we were passing through St Louis. Although they didn’t have what we were wanting, the team saw my idea and immediately started pointing me in the direction of where I could find what I wanted. I left with a list of brands, names of designers and a showroom in Chicago. It’s unusual and refreshing to see such knowledgeable and customer oriented staff! I wish more businesses would bring back this is their sales reps.

We have used Henry plumbing in the past for a beautiful kitchen in our old house. Now we are in need of redoing a kitchen in our new house and went in for an estimate on cabinets and can not get pricing for the life of us. We went in for pricing in October and have yet to see pricing or a finished plan. We called and asked for a different sales person, a manager, anyone and all we get is "they're busy, please leave a message". They were so much better at the Kingshighway location with Amy. Guess we'll go elsewhere, clearly they don't need business.
