Initially the appointment set up was very easy, but come the day of the appointment I don't get any notifications during the time window (11-2pm). I text for ETA several times during the day with "I don't know responses". They set up a new appointment the following day. I get a "technician is on the way notification" only for him to show up more than an hour later. The electrician was nice and seemed knowledgeable. The payment process was painful to say the least. The technician had to call a payment center, was on hold for several minutes, then I had to talk to the payment center to provide payment details, they emailed me 3 invoices and 1 link to authorize payment, then I get 3 more emails with confirmations and receipts....just a nightmare in this day and age where we have Square and other technologies. Overall, I'm not recommending them, too much hassle.

I had Jeff install Christmas lights in my home and I was very impressed with his service. He came the day he was scheduled and arrived on time. I felt he was very honest, reliable, personable and pleasant to work with. I will definitely call him for all my lighting and electrical needs in the future.

The technician from this place is very knowledgeable, I got four estimates and his was the cheapest price out of the four estimates. He is very nice and very professional. He came out to my house the same day I contacted him and started the job and finished the same day. I have met many different contractors throughout my life and would he was the best I am very pleased with the service and I will highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I had an issue with the electric element of my hot water heater and when I called Arrowhead Electrical Services, they made sure someone came out on that same day. The electrician showed up within 15 minutes of when he said he would come and was very professional. He fixed the problem perfectly and the cost was very reasonable. I definitely recommend them!

what we thought would be a minor upgrade turned out to require our whole house to be rewired. The professionalism of Arrowhead Electrical Services showed how skilled they are. They were able to rewire outlets without damaging our plaster walls and even able to install recessed lighting in our family room without damaging the ceiling. Prices were fair and they cleaned daily before their day ended. I would highly recommend the business to all.

Terrible do not use. They told me Thursday morning they would have a technician out to fix my problem. No-show on Thursday, promised he would show up on Friday no-show. I called them again on Monday. Told the guy on the phone I understand technicians get busy jobs take longer, when could I expect his technician to help me out. The representative for arrowhead electrical services hung up on me immediately. I never yelled or cursed, trying to use local businesses. They left me hanging for three days and then hung up on me. If you call them, ask them about no-shows and why they hang up on their customers. Extremely unprofessional, disorganized, make your life better, and never deal with these jerks.

Found Pat and his crew who completed the replacement work to be professional, timely and friendly.

These friendly folks came highly recommended by two of my co-workers. They showed up on time and replaced two track lighting fixtures for me in 30 minutes for a very fair price.

We are a small general contracting company in St. Louis, and have used Collins Electric for a few years now. They have done small maintenance jobs for us, but really excel at helping us with our gut renovations and additions where we install new wiring. They are prompt, professional, and unfazed by the vague whims of changing customer needs or the surprises that pop up in 100+ year old buildings.

Collins Electric always does a great job with electrical projects on my old home. They show up when they say they are going to and they get the job done. Pat is always helpful and advises on alternatives if needed. They always do the job right or make it right. Multiple customer with no complaints. I highly recommend them, especially for owners of vintage homes.

Had an electrical fire overnight due to some shoddy work done by a previous homeowner. Called Collins the following morning, they had the issue diagnosed and fixed within a few hours of us calling then. Cannot recommend enough, reasonable price too

We needed some emergency electrical consulting and work done in our old south city home. Within a couple hours of first calling we had someone (I suspect the company owner) with eyes on the problem and prioritized getting a crew to us a few hours after that. The crew was knowledgable and explained the problem and what they were doing to fix it. After all that, the bill was very reasonable. Based on our experience, we plan to call Collins for all future electrical needs.

We had a very disappointing experience with this company. We hired them approximately 10 times over the course of several months after moving to a new house to do projects ranging from small (light installation) to medium (adding wiring and a breaker for a hot tub). There were a few obstacles during that period but we liked the owners and they were responsive and timely so we continued patronizing them. However, we discovered two significant defects in their work about 6-8 months later, so we called and asked them to fix the defects.

Before even looking at the project, they told me that it wasn’t their fault, but even if it was, the warranty on the work had expired.

When I asked the owner to come by and take a look, he was committed from the very start to showing me that it wasn’t their fault and recommended several very expensive alternatives to what two other professionals had suggested (which was that they fix the defects). So he encouraged me to spend more money in furtherance of what at least two other professionals believed to be defects in his company’s work. It’s dishonorable thing to shirk responsibility for errors that they made. It’s dishonest to then recommend that I spend much more money exploring every possible other avenue as opposed to simply fixing their mistake.
