Local company family owned and operated. Very personable and always very knowledgeable, even with my complicated Carrier HVAC system! Clay recently responded to our service call for a furnace that was acting up as the weather was beginning to turn from summer to fall. He arrived right on time; troubleshot the problem and went on his way. Very thorough and courteous! The Rathgaber family has been servicing my entire family for decades now! They are very good at their job and are a real joy to work with!

I highly recommend Rathgeber. My A/C went out on Monday morning. They showed up within a few hours of me calling them. They refilled my freon to keep me going until they changed out the system on Wednesday. Very good pricing and overall great guys. Can't speak more highly of them.

Very easy and flexible to work with. Reasonable prices and quickly scheduled service. I needed a crane to deliver the AC unit and they took charge on getting that arranged. My furnace and AC were nearly 20 years old and even going with a less efficient system I’ve already noticed a huge improvement in efficiency. Very respectful workers and a true family business.

I just have to give a shout out to an absolutely amazing company —-Rathgeber Heating and Cooling! Our AC unit and fan was completely not working and we had someone from another company come out who was quoting an outrageous amount for a part replacement of the main board that he claimed was “fried” and said that part would be needed just to be able to diagnose the problem to be able to fix the unit, and was basically encouraging us to purchase a new system. I was really questioning his recommendations, and I decided to check on a local social media page for a referral, and Rathgeber’s name came up many times. I called Rathgeber and spoke with Brandon. When I explained what was going on, he told me what he thought the problem was and what part I would likely need. He came out the same day, he was correct on the part replacement needed, and was able to fix our unit. I’m eternally grateful for his knowledge, expertise, efficiency, and honesty. He saved us having to purchase a new HVAC system! Thank you Brandon! This company gets an A+ 10 star rating, and gained a new customer from here on out.

On Saturday July 5th, my AC unit quit working on a 90 degree day.
I gave Rathgeber Heating and Cooling a call at approximately 10am. By 1230pm a technician was at my house diagnosing the problem. The technician was fantastic, thorough and had my AC unit working in no time.
I thought calling on a holiday weekend would most likely entail extra charges. However that was not the case. I am super impressed with the services and highly recommend them for your heating and cooling needs. Hands down one of the best companies in the St Louis area.

This company is the absolute best!!! Last winter, our heat stopped working. Every other company that came out was trying to sell us an entirely new unit - Rathgeber came out and said we only needed a part that cost less than $100. They ordered it and were going to provide heaters for us until the part came in. Well they went the extra mile that evening, drove down to a shop that had the part, came back at 8pm and installed it. Heat worked perfectly! Talk about going the extra mile!!!

Rathgeber and all of their technicians are very prompt and professional. I have had work done on multiple locations and systems. Would highly recommend for their quality work.

My AC compressor went out last summer on my condenser unit, so I thought, I was even told so by an over the phone conversation with my last "AC guy", but I couldn't afford to fix it. This morning JLM sent out a service worker to give me an estimate to replace the compressor or get a whole new system. He informed me that there was just some crossed wiring and that it needed a good cleaning. He had my AC up and running in 20min, and it cost me pennies on the dollar compared to what I thought I'd spend replacing even just the compressor. I was very satisfied with their workmanship and honesty by not trying to sell me something I didn't need. I highly recommend JLM Heating and Air Conditioning!!

Great service! First company to respond to a request for help on a Friday morning. Friendly, honest, fair, but with such a good business manner. He not only repaired our air conditioner but made us maintenance customers with our two units, that is how much confidence we have in him!

Jozo took my call on a Sunday morning and the next day he and Andrew had installed a brand new water heater in our tight basement closet in less than 2 hours. Very friendly and professional guys. Will be using JLM for all heating and cooling needs going forward.

We chose JLM to do our HVAC replacement. We chose a heat pump system, and JLM was extremely helpful in answering all of our many questions and educating us on our options. He is very easy to work with - always on time, responds quickly, and helpful. We got quotes from multiple companies and JLM had a very competitive bid, but we also like that the person who did the quote is the same person who will do the install, and is the same person you can contact with any questions. We have had a few questions and things to be adjusted with the new system and I can say that JLM is just as responsive and helpful after the sale has been made as before. Can’t recommend him enough!

Yozo is the absolute best!! He told me he would be out in just a few hours to see what my problem was, found the problem right away and fixed it the same night!! 10/10 customer service and quality work!
