Called at 4:45 Friday and was told it was “emergency service”, but my furnace stopped and can’t go all weekend without heat so had to bite the bullet. I’ve used Design Aire twice before based on a recommendation from a retired hvac guy I know.

Aaron came out quickly diagnosed a faulty ignitor, unhooked the two wires that connect the ignitor to the system and replaced it with a comparable one that they stock on their truck. Very efficient was in and out in about a half hour.

I get it was after hours, but $664 felt quite excessive for a $25-$50 part that was easily replaced. $300-$400 would have seemed like a lot, but understandable for a very quick after hours call. $600+ means I’ll probably call around next time, or when I replace this system which is very old.

We have used Design Aire for quite a few years now and have always been very impressed with our service, especially from our technician, Klint Dix! Klint goes above and beyond when he services our HVAC! Very thankful and appreciative of the excellent and professional service! Thank you!

Clint was super knowledgeable and respectful. Great service! I thought for him spending 2 hours here at paying $550 was expensive, especially considering that no parts needed replacing, just a few adjustments and cleaning. That being said, I will likely come back to Design Aire next time I need service.

Dylan (service tech) was very thorough & efficient. Winter serup for our furnace and humidifier. He was experienced with our American Standard (Trane) system. Very polite and even liked our dogs! We will call Design-Aire again for our Spring start-up, which is covered in our annual service plan.

I woke up this morning with no heat. I called design Aire and they had Steve out in less than 3 hours. Lucky for us it was a simple fix. Steve found the problem immediately and fixed it. The service call fee was very fair and Steve was friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely use them if we have any issues in the future.

Bryant is one of the nicest HVAC technicians I’ve ever encountered. He is extremely courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. He quickly diagnosed what was causing my furnace to malfunction. He also made several calls to clarify the warranty was still in force and worked with a Design Aire employee to locate and order the part necessary to rmake necessary repairs. Thank you, Bryant! Design Aire is always amazing. They’re our go to for all our hearing and a/c needs. Thomas came out, on a Saturday night, and was incredibly pleasant and helpful. He went above and beyond to make certain we were warm and could get through the cold weekend.

It's the weekend and the furnace stops working. I called Design Aire which we have used for close to 30 years. They came out promptly and had it fixed in about 30 minutes. Call Design Aire for all your heating and cooling needs.

The response was quick, and the service was excellent. My repair technician, Thomas, was polite, thorough, and explained everything he found and walked me through the next steps. He also took the time to answer all of my questions. My experience couldn't have been better!

As a result of a maintenance check we did through another company, we were told our boiler needed a good clean, and due to its age we were better off to replace it. The first few quotes we got for replacement came in between $12,000 and $22,000. When we called Design Aire, John Kelley immediately put us at ease that even though our boiler is old, it may still have some life left if it got a good clean. He had someone out the next day and also came over personally to look over our system and talk it through with us. Joe Burroughs was our technician and he and John had the boiler cleaned up and running in a couple of hours. They showed us how the carbon monoxide level was significantly reduced after the clean out. John also took the time to show us how to bleed our radiators which was very helpful as this is our first time owning a home with radiant heat. No shade to the other HVAC companies in St. Louis as we've had great experiences elsewhere too, but the service and expertise we experienced from Design Aire were above and beyond. We know we will need to replace our boiler someday, but now we feel like we have time to plan for the expense and came away with a better understanding of how to maintain and take care of our current system in the meantime. Could not have asked for a better experience. Brian Clark made scheduling a breeze per usual. We’ve had Klint Dix help us out with our AC and now heat, he’s great. Joe Placht installed our new HVAC unit and provided a great experience. Strongly recommend this company!

Our furnace had problems. The text messages from Design Aire were very helping in updating us on when the technician would arrive. The technician, Bryant, was very helpful, joyful, and nice. Would definitely use them again if ever needed.

Design Aire is a great HVAC company. Chose them for 2 new a/c’s on a multi-family building and have been using them ever since. Had a furnace go out last night, left a message at midnight and received a call back at 0730 the next morning with a technician on site 6 hours later. Troubleshot the problem to a failed capacitor, swapped it out and back in business! Really appreciate the technician, Bryant, very friendly and took the time to talk me through the issue and repair. Most importantly, my tenant was without heat for less than 12 hours in January. Thank you Design Aire.

Thomas from the Design Aire team was great. He was very respectful and pleasant to talk to. He removed my bad heat exchanger quickly and installed and tested the new one . After the install he offered some tips for efficiency and tips to help extend the life of my furnace. This was a very good experience and will recommend Design Aire to family and friends!

Patrick and Scott provided outstanding customer service! Extremely knowledgeable and put their customer's needs first. They do not attempt to upsell you with unnecessary upgrades or new systems, as is the case with multiple other HVAC companies. I am extremely happy that I called Design Aire for a 2nd opinion. I now plan to use Design Air for the long term when future HVAC maintenance issues arise.

I had a heating system problem. The tech came over on Friday to fix it. He said it would be warm in a few hours. I've been waiting for all night. It never happened. So I called the company again. The on call tech said I might need a valve which he did not have. He couldn't fix it. On Monday, manager John and tech Patric came over to my house. They did excellent job. They explained everything. John showed me with the camera which tells me the floor was heating. They changed the valve without extra charge. They explained us very well. They were very friendly and nice people. Next day, John checked on me if the heating was working fine. I am very happy with their job.
