Every STAR CITY employee I came into contact with was extremely professional, took time to answer my questions, and went out of their way to explain things to me so that I had a thorough understanding of how to operate everything, especially the new thermostat. This company deserves more than a five-star rating. This is the second time I’ve used them over the last 20 years for complete furnace, thermostat, and heat pump installation.

Our kitchen sink was not draining. Tony got busy and went through a thorough systematic repair of the drain. It wasn’t easy, but he got the job done. He was very informative, patient, careful and very efficient.
We would happily have him come back for any repairs we needed in the future.

The very best. Excellent plumber, on time, willing to describe the process completely, also a great entertainer while he works, making me, the customer, feel much more at ease about the "ultimate catastrophe" he is fixing. I really enjoyed the time spending him as he fixed the plumbing.

Brandon did a fantastic job. Our blower motor went out and he was able to have it fixed in just a few hours. He was kind and respectful as well. Highly recommend!

I recently moved into my first house in Lincoln and so far I’ve had my furnace, ac and electric panel upgraded by Star City. I’m happy to say that the staff are so friendly and helpful. Whenever I had a question they were always happy to answer it for me. They are also reasonable priced and don’t have any hidden fees. I will be sticking with Star city till I move out of the state. Thank you so much for everything you guys do.

Trever @ Star City has helped me 2x this year & is always very professional and helpful. I called John Henry’s first & they immediately tried to tell me I needed a new furnace/ac unit. Trever and Star City fixed the switch that was the real problem and they saved me thousands that John Henry’s was trying to get me to spend. This day and age, you want honest and quality work, Star City is the only place I’ll call from now on.

I’ve used this company hundreds of times—over 10 full system replacements and countless service calls over the past few years. Unfortunately, their customer service has gone downhill.

Their call center repeatedly assigns service requests to the wrong property owner, even when the correct information is provided. They then send the invoice to the wrong owner and refuse to update the ownership in their system when I asked to correct it—making it impossible for me to get the bill paid properly.

Instead of fixing their internal mistake, they threatened to stop providing service over a couple hundred dollars. Pretty disappointing after years of loyal business. Not the level of professionalism I expect from a company I’ve trusted with so much work.

The plumber, Edwin was excellent. He did a great job of explaining what my problem might be, what he might need to do to fix it, and what it would most likely cost. He fixed the leak in my toilet and even installed a new flush valve as a precautionary measure at no extra charge. I’ve also used Star City to install our new air conditioning system, and they’ve not disappointed there as well. 5/5 stars. Would recommend!

UPDATE 9/29/2025: Today Todd came to look at the install wiring on our humidifier. He also made several suggestions to save wear and tear on the unit and o couple of other positives. He also showed me the Membership Rewards Program. By signing up today, there was NO charge for today's service call, an immediate savings of $89! I'll be calling to schedule my water heater flush, took. Todd was great, very conscientious and detail-oriented! He has a pleasant demeanor and a friendly personality. Two back-to-back awesome experiences...ThanxaBunch!
Reece came to service our unit for the annual visit before cold weather arrives. I had a couple of things to mention. He listened to my questions, took a further look, and gave me complete answers and suggestions. He also verified that something from the install in 2018 may need to be tweaked. Reece is courteous, professional, and it was a pleasure to meet him. Going forward, we want Reece for our future needs with Star City...ThanxaBunch!!!

Star Coty is the best, we have their service plan and irs worth every penny.
Earlier this year they replaced my HVAC, today repairs/ adjusting the humidifier on the HVAC. Their staff is wonderful- professional, communicates with you each step of the way and then clearly offer and explain each of the options to help you make the best decision

Technician was knowledgeable and courteous. He diagnosed the problem and got the part and rechecked the whole system after installation of new parts. Scheduling and communication needs a little attention but it all worked out ok. I will use them again in the future when needed.

Justin and Tony are the best! They assessed the clogged/overflowing drain, explained my options and cleared the drain in record time. They are professional, knowledgeable, and it was clear that they take their work seriously and aim for positive resolution. I highly recommend Star City and will contact them for any/all my plumbing needs. Great to work with and great results.

Zachary was very nice and helpful! He replaced our toilet . Completed the job very quickly! We have used this company a few times and have always been very very happy with the service!

When dealing with any employees, they have presented themselves as friendly and helpful. I got an appointment much faster than anticipated, there was a complication, which Reece did more than I expected to help with at least a temporary solution, and left me with information on a permanent solution. It was a great experience, and due to the nature of their work, I cant say I am excited to work with them again. But, if these services are needed I am glad to know a good company to call.

Brandon and Reece tag-teamed our repair. Brandon checked the furnace out, provided several options of increased improvement, and then ordered the parts necessary to affect those repairs. The following week, Reece took over for Brandon and, on a quoted 4-5 hour job, finished up in about 2 1/2 hours....in his own words "Record Time". Our furnace is like as new again. This was the best outcome we could have asked for.

If you need excellent work on your HVAC system, look no further than Star-City. If you have the opportunity, request Brandon or Reece. OR Reece or Brandon. They both provide service like no other.

The entire experience with this company was great. My initial phone was taken gracefully and everything scheduled promptly. I had an inspection scheduled for same day. Brandon Price came to my residence and was very courteous. Brandon did a great job asking and answering questions and conducted a thorough inspection. Brandon included solutions, gave me an estimate before he left and even offered to bring in some heavy box that were delivered during the inspection.

The process to set up appointments is very convenient and fast. I like that there is frequent communication about when the technician will arrive, so there’s no guessing.
