Appliance Repair reviews in Omaha, Nebraska

Kevin was awesome. Very personable, efficient, professional and skilled in his repair profession.
Neat and tidy and left everything clean and in proper working order. -
They were assigned a warranty job for my ice maker. I never received the part needed to fix the problem and couldn’t contact a human at Sears Appliance to advise and reschedule. I ended up calling Samsung to have my job re-assigned to another repair company.

Service is awful. Waiting 3 months to have washer fixed. 4 times canceled on. Terrible.

My "customer service" experience mirrors Jeremy Sterling's review from a few weeks ago. The communication for the diagnosis appointment was good. We received multiple text confirmations and they showed up on time. The tech collected our money for parts and a follow-up service appointment was made for April 8. We have not heard from them since.
When I called to ask about the missed appointment, I was told the parts weren't in so the service call wasn't dispatched. We received no texts or emails to let us know that there would be no appointment or to let us know that we were waiting on parts. The service rep apologized for the inconvenience but offered no explanation. The two parts that have been shipped were shipped directly to our house. They don't tell you that either. I don't need a pile of parts being shipped to my house for me to keep track of for months.
I have called 3 times and no one can provide me with an answer as to when we will receive the parts. Does it take more than 4 weeks for Sears to ship parts for a water softener?!? Apparently so. I have been put on indefinite hold twice when asked for more information or to speak with a supervisor. It's beyond frustrating! I'm currently awaiting a call from a supervisor to provide me with "more information." I can't wait for the call that will probably never come, and if it does, to see what additional information will be provided that couldn't be provided in my first three calls.
Don't waste your time with Sears. -
This man knew what he was doing was very courteous and kind. I wish all technicians were like him.

The service department scheduled us for a repair and we’re supposed to be here between 8AM and 5PM. At 4PM they called to let us know they wouldn’t be out for another week! Customer service was all automated and no one was willing to help. If the workers are at thier max hours, you get bumped to the back of their line. You are better off learning appliance repair yourself.

Didn't fix the refrigerator, and didn't push it back into place and said it needs a chip, made me feel like a liar

Dryer was fixed in a timely manner and was great. 2 days later though, the air duct that the lint trap sits in fell off, inside the dryer. I called first thing Friday morning and they said it would be Monday before someone could come out and fix it. With the money charged for labor, this should have been done correctly and should have had someone come out to fix right away. I ended up just fixing myself, as laundry needed to be done.
Updated later in the afternoon, he didn't even pit the screws back into the vent. I know they were in there as I had taken off the whole front before. I am changing my review from a 3 to a 1. Ridiculous!! How do you have extra screws and not figure out you missed something??? I would not use them and would use a more reputable repairman. -
He was a day late without parts to complete repair. The parts were still in route per FedEx. May be the fault of his scheduler but refused to contact his supervisor when I requested it. Told me I had to wait another 2 weeks for another appointment. Very unapologetic or helpful. Would give a zero if possible.

If I could post negative stars I would. Will not recommend this company or their techs. Their only interest is in pushing to sell an over priced maintenence agreement. They could not even give me a receipt for the money I paid them for the estimate. Most unprofessional. Will not call them again.

The Tech was knowledgeable, polite, clean, neat, and well spoken. Not a problem to understand what he said. He explained the situation well. I was extremely pleased. He was also neat, tidy and did not track in snow. Sears hit the jackpot with him as an employee.

Kevin was actually good . I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of communication with the tracker saying he would be here by 10am and he did not show up until 2:30! I called and talked to customer service at 11:30 and was told he would contact me with an update but I heard nothing. So disrespectful and rude to me as a customer! I’m amazed our warranty company would contract through Sears considering their disrespect of their customer. I will certainly pass on my experience with this lack of good customer service.

Kevin in very knowledgeable. My dishwasher is up and running

The filter was not on straight. He was there for 10 mins. And charged me $315. He didn’t have any repairs. What a rip off. He’s English was not very good and could not understand him!!! I told him that was too much and he agreed!

Great guy great service he called ahead to make sure we were at home and let us know he was on his way. Worked fast and efficient! I love the same day service!! Thanks Kevin.

Kind, caring, professional, and technologically adept at his job. He was polite and professional, and I would like to have him service my appliances every time here after. This technician is indeed a asset to your company and needs to be appreciated.

My technician was fine with the communication from Sears to me. As a customer was crap and having a 8 AM to 5 PM window is unacceptable. They need to have a 4 hour window. Some people do have things they have to do not set it home and wait the whole time and then the person that is coming to fix. Your issue is late as well. Because you, as a company gave him the work order at the last moment. Not happy about your service at all sears

My refrigerator had stopped cooling. My home warranty company sent Sears Appliance Repair to look at it. The technician troubleshot it to a bad timing module. It was supposed to take a week for the new module to arrive but it arrived early and the technician came out the next day and replaced it. The refrigerator is back to cooling like new. My only complaint is a very minor one. Their appointment window is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm when most other companies are 4 hour windows. Other than that I'm extremely happy with their service. I highly recommend this company.

Having the Sears Home Warranty has been absolutely horrible. My microwave short circuited over 2 months ago and I still have yet to have a repair man come out and fix it. Every time one is scheduled through the AI service, because you can't physically speak with anyone, it gets rescheduled. This is a huge inconvenience that I have appliances that I can't use because the warranty that I faithfully pay for monthly doesn't honor their commitment of having speedy repairs. Once I do get the repairs completed, I will be canceling their service and recommend others do not fall for the hype. They are HORRIBLE!!

We could not understand technician on phone or in person. He quoted $600 to replace ice maker then $500
Wanted to sell us a service warranty for all our appliances. We hired someone else. -
I don’t like working with Sears. I want to be able to speak to a live agent in my refrigerator is still broke.
