Great service and follow up. Honest and dependable as well.

Our blower went out mid-summer (June or July) so our AC, therefore, wouldn't cool the house. Being a union member (electrical), I wanted to give my business to a union contractor to help union brethren with their income. That being said, I reached out to the tinner union for their recommendation. They recommended Grunwald, and since I've used them for plumbing and they did impeccable work for plumbing, I decided to go with that recommendation and past experience (granted a different department). They sent a tech out within a very timely manner. That's when we figured out it was a bad motor. The tech put a temporary motor in and said that a new permanent motor had been ordered but would be about 3 or 4 months before the permanent motor would be in. Here we are, late December, and it still doesn't have the right motor. The temporary motor hardly cooled the house during the summer, so it really doesn't heat the house in a fairly typical Nebraska winter. The tech said he doesn't put in for billing until the job is 100% done, and yet we were billed after the last call we put in with the same guy for almost $500. Sorry, but that is far from union quality work (incomplete work and nearly non-working fixes). If you want a top tier contractor, look elsewhere, I've dealt with non-union contractors that do better work than this one. They seem to only care about the money, not customer satisfaction. Will I be helping union HVAC members out in the future? Possibly, just not with this shop

Called Grunwald Mechanical to maintenance equipment at a commercial property. They came out and looked at the time sensitive work. They said they would have a bid that week. Joe the service manager gave me his cell phone and worked with me directly. After 2 weeks I still did not have a bid but he reassured me I would get one. After 4 weeks he started getting unresponsive. I called the office and they talked to him and he told them that he did not have time for it anymore. He failed to inform me of this him self, instead he choose not to return calls or answer text messages. We chose Grunwald for this job because they appeared to be the the best and oldest mechanical contractor in Omaha. Now we have wasted 4 weeks on a time sensitive issue at our commercial property when all they had to do was communicate professionally and we could have worked with another contractor.

Service was good. But it was wrapped in a lot of bad comms.

I had my A/C fail on me. Calling Grunwald was rough, as both times they came out, there were issues with letting me know when a tech would arrive, catching me at work.

The actual tech was great. Explained what they were doing, patient, methodical, rather nice.

Bill process was messy. Tried calling about my bill, tried messaging, no luck. Got the bill later with awry info. Was told the original was sent, I just never got it. Got the original info after another phone call. Again, bad comms.

I am thankful to have had a team like Grunwald replace our Boiler.

Our A/C went out Tuesday afternoon. Called Grunwald on Wednesday morning. They sent a guy on Thursday to give us an estimate. Friday morning the crew was here at 7:30, and all finished installing new heat pump/AC system by 3:30! Unbelievable! Very happy with the service and work they did for us!

Called them they were right over.installed expansion tank on my water heater in less then one hour.did great job and price was great.would recommend. them and use again

My condenser fan's motor went out on my AC. I emailed (maybe too much) and called and was able to get someone out that morning. The tech was great and knowledgeable. Diagnosed the issue and set about fixing it in a bit over an hour.

I was worried about getting someone for days let alone have someone available within an hour of my call. My house was in the 90s and high 80s for about a day and a half during Labor Day and it was just miserable and Grunwald pulled off a miracle. My little guy will be so happy to come home from school to a cool house.

On July 26, my air conditioner quit working. I called my go- to -guys-Grunwald- and I had a service technician, Cameron, to my house within 30 minutes. Cameron was knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Answered all my questions, and fixed the unit within the hour. What incredible service, Bravo Grunwald, thanks for saving my family with your incredible skill in the middle of a severe heat wave.!!!!!

Grunwald’s customer service is next to none. Had a thermostat go out overnight, I got a hold first thing in the morning, and they came over within 30 minutes. It’s now replaced and got us up and going. Appreciate you guys.

We had another company come out and they couldn't clear our drains. Called Grunwald out not only did they clear drain. They found some leaks that needed repairs. They properly piped our lines (old style caused issues) they where promp and polite. The plumbers were very knowledgeable and got the job done right. They also made sure everything was cleaned up! We will definitely call them again and I'll be recommending them to other. Thank you Grunwald

Had my AC replaced at the beginning of summer. Amazing. Simply Amazing. They showed up on time, answered all my questions and was very respectful.
After the install, they cleaned everything up and made sure the AC was working properly before they left. I was extremely impressed and I will be recommending them to all my friends and family. If anyone is looking for a top notch place to get servicing or replacements, this is your place!
