Our A/C stopped working. The tech Sam arrived when they said he would and he quickly diagnosed the problem. Courteous and knowledgeable. We needed a new system. The salesman Carter came out the next day and presented our options. Professional and detailed. The whole process was about as painless as a $18K decision could be. Their financing options make it all affordable. Highly recommend McCarthy's One Hour Heating & Air.

This was a great experience. On the first day, they arrived right on time and did great work, but ran into a problem on my end, not theirs. They were more than agreeable in coming back three days later to wrap up the repair without charging me any more money. Matt was the service tech that came out both days. He was highly professional and very concerned about doing the job right the first time. He was great at explaining the process through the whole repair. If you ask these people to do some work and you get Matt as the service tech, you will not be disappointed.

Lwe came to check for a possible leak from our humidified to find there was none and it was due to another reason. He was very pleasant to work with and worked hard to ensure we were getting the right pricing fit for our family. I would definitely recommend them.

Turned on my furnace for the first time this season, on a Sunday, and it did not work. I reached out to McCarthy's and they were able to get a tech out within 30 minutes. Jacob was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. The pricing was very reasonable.

My heater went out, McCarthy's was here right away. The tech, Carter was so great, he explained everything, and did what was needed to get me up and running again. I cannot thank you enough!

McCarthys took care of an issue with an aged water heater system they addressed my concern they were upfront and honest and I genuinely appreciated the overall service Avery Heath one of their technicians I was particularly pleased with his service and expertise. Thanks !

Sam was great—explained the whole process for the service/inspection being done to the furnace and made recommendations for replacements, but wasn’t pushy about it.

My heater was blowing lukewarm air so I called for service. The technician showed up an hour and 6 minutes after the “I’m on my way” text. He was friendly, but really just scrubbed a small tube clean for about 1-2 mins and then charged us $350.54, which seems ridiculous. I won’t be calling them next time.

Lwe was an incredibly kind and knowledgeable technician that identified our HVAC issue and fixed it in under a day. Gave us the best possible discount and showed us how to use our new thermostat. We signed up for the annual membership which includes 2x tuneup as well as a hot water flush. Highly recommend.

I’ve had a few people come out to my house in the past year. Techs Sam, Joe and now Carter. Each and every one has been amazing and super friendly! This is definitely a good company for honesty, trust and kindness (: 10/10 (get the membership, it’s worth it!!!)

We had Jacob out to our residence to look at the furnace for a no heat situation. He showed up on time, was extremely professional, clean, and got the furnace going while doing an inspection to make sure we don’t have any surprises going forward. We signed up for the maintenance plan to keep our appliances (furnace/ac) covered going forward. Highly recommend using One Hour from the office to the field staff they were great to work with!

Used them for an air duct cleaning/ humidifier change today, super nice, efficient and very courteous of my 3 dogs, and toddler! Techs were very friendly, and cleaned up after themselves! Used them in the summer time for a/c maintenance, and will continue to do so!!

I'm pretty annoyed with McCarthy right now. I called them last night because my furnace wasn't working. I hadn't turned it on for the season yet. They scheduled a tech to be here between 8am and noon. No problem. The tech told me that that the inducer motor was bad and I needed a new one. I said great, how much will that cost. He said the office would call and tell me but then went into sales mode for a new furnace. I asked if we could just get the inducer motor fixed and he said that the cost might go up because he doesn't know what else is wrong. He set up a sales meeting for someone to meet me at 6pm. I paid him 90 dollars and he left. No one from the office called to give me a quote on the inducer motor.

At 5pm ish a lady called and confirmed someone would be out right at 6pm to talk about the cost of a new furnace. I said great but that I didn't get a quote for the repair and that I'd be happy to talk about a new furnace but would also like a repair quote. She seemed confused and said that the person coming out could also inspect the furnace and give me a quote for that. I reminded her that we already did that and that I just needed a quote so my wife and I could make a decision. She seemed confused about this.

So I told her that it seems like I paid them 90 dollars in order for them to just sell me a new furnace. She said that the 6pm inspection would be free. This blew my freaking mind. I told her I already paid to have them inspect my furnace and they don't seem to understand that furnaces are in fact repairable. At this point I cancelled the appointment.

I called my realtor and he gave me a name for his HVAC guy. He showed up 30 minutes later....... In the evening after working hours no less. He did a real inspection. Pulled the inducer motor off and knocked it loose. It started to spin. He put it back on the furnace and it fired up. Granted it sounded pretty bad, he said he would get the part and be back to replace it tomorrow. It took this guy 10 minutes and the furnace is on. It will be properly fixed tomorrow but my kids have heat now. And he said that it won't be more than 400 bucks depending on the cost of the part.

McCarthy seems to not know how to fix a furnace, only how to sell a new one. Better off trying someone else for repairs unless you want a new furnace. Waste of 90 bucks.

Update 1: It ended up being $475.

Update 2: McCarthy sent me a quote 23 hours after the original inspection. Their quote was $1,250.

Jacob was very good and professional. I appreciate that he liked over the unit and found everything in good working condition. He did not try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I am in a maintenance contract where they come out twice a year to check the cooling and heating systems.

Amazing company with amazing staff. Will continue to use McCarthys for their reliability, respect, and constant care for their customers. Wouldn’t choose any other company with McCarthys great prices and fast scheduling, they have never failed me.

Samuel Rodgers did an excellent job of explaining everything. Was courteous and very upfront and explained things in detail. As a member I payed nothing.

Originally, he came for a regular inspection and tune up. Then, he came about a week later and installed our new thermostat. Both of these, times he was professional, friendly, and explained everything.

Then, the heat stopped working over the weekend. After playing around with the new thermostat, we placed a call for an emergency service call. It took several hours (they were slammed with calls from the weekend storm), but we again got Carter. He went right to work, identified, and fixed the problem within 30 to 40 minutes. Again, he was professional and friendly.

This kind of service is why we are loyal customers and club members.

Richard was EXTREMELY thorough with the yearly furnace maintenance. He took the time to walk me thru deficiencies and gave an explanation for the work that needed to be done. He found several things that the previous technician had not addressed. He was very kind and respectful and a true blessing. I would highly recommend!!

My experience with McCarthy's One hour heating & air was awesome. Carter was on time and was very professional and knowledgeable, he also explained the what he came to do job wise. I highly recommend him for any service that needs done.

Our heat stopped working in the middle of the night and the real feel outside was -15 degrees. Worried that I was going to have to wait forever and/or pay an arm and a leg for someone to come out, I made a call and they had someone there in about 1.5 hrs. They sent a text with the technician info and called just before arrival. Boi Za arrived and he was super friendly, helpful and explained everything in understandable detail. They have a maintenance plan we signed up for where they come out 2xs a year and clean and check the unit. We will continue to use this company for all our HVAC needs and request Boi Za as our technician.
