Paul has come to our house house three times over the past four years. He installed a water heater, a water softener, and replaced the kitchen drain and supply lines. Every time I have been satisfied with his service and prices. He gives me a timely quote and completes the work on time and within budget. It's nice to have a dependable tradesman in this age of gig economy. As much as I hope I don't need to call a plumber anytime soon, it puts my mind at ease to know that he'll be there. Thanks Paul!

Had to have new tub and shower fixtures, not easy because I have 1960 plumbing and fixtures. Was fortunate enough to get Paul’s number from a neighbor that also had a great experience. Also was fortunate that was able to be home and watch him work his craft. Not merely “plumbing,” Paul thought outside the box in order to solve my problems.
Highly recommend. I now have a plumber for all my needs. So does anyone that asks or listens to me.

Called Southside Plumbing at 11am and by 12:30, Shawn E was at my house ready to help. He assessed the whole basement (even putting his head in the drywall to double check plumbing routes), explained by step what our problem was and solutions, and emailed us multiple estimates to find a solution that worked for us. I am so impressed by this company’s customer service, knowledge, and compassion. Will be using them for all of our problems going forward.

I had a great experience with Southside Plumbing. They managed to get a plumber out within half an hour after I first called. He replaced a leaking shut off valve quickly and cleanly and the price was reasonable. Very satisfied with my experience.

Its important to make it clear that the following is not a reflection of the actual work they do.

This is about an incident I had with one of their staff.
I live across the street from a job they were working on.
From day one, I was pulling out of my driveway and one of their staff walked directly behind my car to look at locates painted on the ground. Not a big deal, but not safe and not very courteous.

Day two, I come home from work and there is a Southside plumbing truck taking up WAY more than two lanes in the street. There was literally only a car width from the curb to their truck. After squeezing into my driveway I asked how long they were going to be. The staff said 45 minutes. At this time, a car that was blocked in the street started to talk to the same staff. The South side staff threw some profanity around, a slur and said, call the cops.
I took his instruction and called the police. Somehow, he was able to move the truck AND complete his job ALL without the cops ever actually needing to be called back. I did have to call them and explain the situation in order for this staff to move the Southside plumbing truck.

So, If you use this company, know there is a chance they will be rude, entitled, and your neighbors may even need to call the police .

Day 3, started off the same with this staff, but I was able to speak with the owner. He was very open to hearing my side of the incident and assured me that’s not acceptable from his staff. I felt he was genuinely concerned and sincere. At the end of the day, it’s HIS lively hood that’s affected. He said, he would talk with his staff, I hope he does.

Southside was timely in arriving to unclog our kitchen/bathroom drain, but 1.5 hrs later the tech said all he had accomplished in doing was spraying sludge all over the cabinets and floor but he couldn't unclog the drain. If we take the wall out, he said we could get someone to fix it. He then said he hoped his clean up was good enough and for that we were charged $133. As a realtor, in the past I have suggested homeowners use Southside. Not anymore.

Arrived promptly. They worked enthusiastically and were particular about cleaning up any mess and reducing the time we were without services. Totally amiable workers.
