South side was hired to clear a sewer line and give a bid for plumbing repair on behalf of the seller($1500) to be used as a credit by the buyer. After closing, south side plumbing was called back to do the work they bid for $1500 and gave a new bid of $36,000. $34,500 difference! Do not trust them. Pink panther plumbing is a company you can trust.

The price was very good compared to other companies in the area that I had bid the project. Southside Plumbing replaced a lead service line for me from the street into my home. I was pleased with the promptness that they demonstrated in getting this done and everything works as expected. The only thing I am not very impressed with is they made a pretty big mess in my basement (unfinished but clean prior to the job). I was on vacation when they did the job so I wasn't able to see it until I got home. I've attached some photos.

Other than the mess, I would use Southside again and recommend getting a bid from them if you are disappointed in some other bids you are getting!

Decided to have a camera put thru the sewer drain on a home we are considering purchasing. We did this 5 years ago; the best decision ever so a homeowner gets a good picture on the health of the sewer. Was served by Jeff, 5 years ago and he was still at Southside for services done today. Joe from Southside Plumbing was extremely helpful. We had a sink emergency before Thanksgiving and he showed me where I went wrong when I was trying to fix it myself. He was awesome!

He was very responsive, friendly, and got the job done quickly under a stressful time for me prior to closing the house sale. He has a great attitude and was available to take care of all the plumbing issues even last minute items that popped up. I was able to set up a time the same day as my phonecall for clearing a slow draining floor drain and obstructed washing machine water discharge pipe. Fast and courteous service for a great price. Thank you Michael Pepper! Will definitely call Southside for any future plumbing problems.

Punctual arrival and the two guys quickly addressed the issue with our laundry room drain (washer backing up into utility sink significantly)

They ended up having to go at it from the roof (in January temps) so we greatly appreciated their work.

They offered a price for the job before they even came. I thought it was a little high but the job turned out to be time consuming and difficult and they stuck to their word on the price. Based on that, I would definitely recommend.

Southside Plumbing in Omaha is the best. The plumbers have always been competent, friendly and helpful. Joe was our last plumber and he went beyond in funding parts and fixing our antiquated bathrooms. We have found our go to plumber here in Omaha.

Will start off by saying that the work they did and the technician performing the work seemed very professional and that has nothing to do with this review.

If you have a known flat rate for certain work regardless of the amount of time or complexity of the task, that needs to be disclosed to the customer prior to performing the work. You have every right as a business to charge any amount you want to for any task but knowing there is a minimum what something will cost and not disclosing that to the customer is extremely poor practice.

Fair warning that if you are going to be using this company ask if there are any "flat rates" prior to even the most minimal or exploratory task. This is the definition of "gotcha" tactics and the very reason people end up ruining their own homes by attempting DIY projects because they don't trust the professionals to honor transparency within their business.

The plumber was on time and very courteous. He did a great job and left the area clean. I would definitely hire him again. Thank you!

Poor service, high priced, Bill is dishonest. Paid $250 for 15 minutes in my house. He didn't even fix the problem, and when I called to complain 3 times, the lady answering the phone took my info and no one called back. DO NOT RECOMMEND STAY AWAY!

They were prompt and ready to work. Lucas was very professional and knowledgeable. He installed a Midea dishwasher- his first and somewhat Euro-model- and did well.
