They forgot to glue a joint and it flooded my basement. Totaled our extra bedroom.

Mistakes happen, and three different people, including the owner (Chris) promised they were insured and were going to take care of us. They had a good reputation so we were confident.

We paid around $8,000 out of pocket to get everything fixed, and when it came time to collect... the owner GHOSTED US.

Just stopped replying completely to emails and calls.

The incident was over two years ago, and we still have never recived a single dime in compensation.

I even omitted about 3k worth of damaged furniture from the receipts... hoping it would aid in a speedier closing of the incident.

It's really unfortunate... this company had a really great reputation, and we really thought they would make good on their word. Sadly, we were mistaken.

BUYER BEWARE... our job was a big one, but when it comes to plumbing, EVEN A SMALL JOB can turn catastrophic for your property. You can quickly be left with a multi thousand dollar repair bill like us.

It's crucial to find a company that honors their word, and stands behind their work. This one doesnt.

If Chris ever decides to follow through and make things right, I'll update my review.

Randy and Tre from Backlund Plumbing provided excellent service replacing a broken kitchen waste line in our basement. From their prompt arrival to the completion of the job, they were incredibly professional and efficient. They clearly explained the necessary repairs and turned a stressful situation into a surprisingly smooth experience.

The service person/ plumber Alex did an amazing job helping me resolve the present issue on my toilet and recommended waiting for a new installation. Excellent advice in my case. The service was professional, on time w the appointment , patient w homeowners questions , comprehensive in explaining the work that would be done to resolve the issue. I highly recommend Backkund Plumbing. The receptionist Leslie was very friendly and helpful in taking my information regarding what I needed help with with my home plumbing issue when posting my appointment. The best plumbing business in Omaha. They have the staff, skills and equipment for large New construction all the way down to fixing your leaky faucet. I don't know how they do it, but they are always professional and provide a quality service.

Had a drain issue yesterday causing both our women's and men's restrooms at the office to be in-operable. Called Backlund around 12:30pm, and after they rearranged technicians were at our office by 2pm! They fixed our issue, which was much appreciated, but even more impressive was their urgency to get our situation resolved so quickly for us! What great customer service! Thank you, Backlund Team!!!

We had a great experience with Cody at Backlund Plumbing.

He was the first to respond when I reached out for bids and asked thoughtful questions to really understand the scope of the project. Another plumber made everything feel overwhelming, but Cody made it feel straightforward and manageable.

He also asked about our future layout plans to make sure things were done right now instead of having to redo anything later. When we decided to pivot from his original recommendation, he was completely flexible and made it happen.

He’s been detailed, communicative, shows up when he says he will, and carefully planned the multi-day work to minimize our downtime without plumbing. His pricing was very competitive as well.

Truly impressed and would recommend him without hesitation.

The technician was punctual and professional. He was thorough and corrected the problem.

They said, they do free estimate but they are not.. they charge you money just to come without figuring out the problem or even doing anything. Plus i have coupon from them for free estimate but you still have to pay just for coming to your house. just wasting your time and money.

Ron and Izzy are two of the most honest, real people out there. Ron told me exactly what needed to be done, gave us a great price, and Izzy worked with us before and it was great to have him back. Ask for these two if you guys need plumbing help. Lot of experience between the two. 6/5

Immediate arrival in the morning after an evening call. Izzy was timely, took off his shoes, explained his work, and friendly. Very worth the expense! I’ll call them again and they should be your first call when a plumber is needed!

After using another vendor 9 months earlier to resolve a sewer backup, I found myself with the same issue again. This time I called Mr. Rooter and Izzy was the tech that was at my home within the hour. Needless to say I was very upset. Izzy walked me thru all the potential causes, discussed cost and was incredibly thorough and kind. Would highly recommend

We had a floor drain back up 2 weeks ago and Izzy came out. The clog cleared itself (because it knew Izzy was there :) but he recommended descaling the drain pipe, as it was one of the worst he's seen. Izzy came out today and descaled the whole cast iron pipe. It's well worth the investment and we shouldn't have any main line backups for a long time. Thanks Izzy and Mr. Rooter for excellent service!
