Well we are over 80 days into this Auto Owners insurance claim and it is not 100% solved yet. I will say Ryan Quance has not let up a single minute fighting for what’s right for me as a consumer. He has sent multiple pictures, state codes and info to Auto Owners and I can’t believe this is still even an issue. I’ve even gotten calls at 7:40 pm from him about my claim. Believe me he’ll always answer when you call.
Thanks for keeping on this Ryan I appreciate what you’re doing to make this right.
    Steve.

Aaron did a great job from start to finish. He communicated well and made sure we were happy with our new siding. He did a great job dealing with our insurance as well.

If I could give this business zero stars I would. Their communication skills are that of an infant. There are none. We chose this business to side our house. It took forever for them to ever do that. The sales person showed us colors that were in stock. We picked a color only to find out they had to order it. Wait forever for the order to come in. Then they schedule a day to do the siding. No one ever knocked on the door to let me know there were here and going to start work. They never did again let me know when they finished as I was home all day. They cleaned up and left. My husband came home to find some broken things on our house that were not broken before. He contacted home pride and let them know that he was not happy with their service. He sent pictures to the project manager. To which the manager responded that they were on vacation and would call him on Monday. He never did call my husband. My husband has reached out many times about getting the job finished so we can settle the bill. The project manager said he would put us on the schedule and get a team out here. Never told us when that was scheduled and never contacted us again. He then shows up by himself to our house in the middle of the day while everyone is at work. I got on our cameras and informed him that he needed to text or call my husband. He said okay and left. He still hasn’t contacted my husband. Meanwhile they took forever to send a bill and when they finally did we got a notice that they would be putting a lien against our property for non payment. If they would just fix what they broke then we would pay them. This business doesn’t practice on ethics they practice on lack of communication and threats.

The $ gap was large between what the insurance company said was related to storm damage and wanted to pay versus what Home Pride said was damage and cost to replace. Home Prides Ryan Quance worked for us to get the insurance company adjuster to agree to cover a lot more than what they initially said. When everyone finally agreed to the $ amount and scope of work, Home Pride quickly did the job. I highly recommend Ryan Quance and Home Pride.

Home Pride replaced my roof. I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. Project Manager Mike Hodtwalker worked with the insurance company to insure everything was taken care of. The crew that did the installation was superb. They cleaned up the area upon completion, and I have found no debris. I would recommend Home Pride to anyone.

Unfortunately as a licensed insurance agent I cannot recommend Home Pride. While the quality of work is good, the communication process and billing is very poor.

My folks needed a roof replaced from a storm. There was also damage to the sheathing. Project manager Aaron Wilson came out and provided an estimate. Assuring my parents that he "had a great relationship with the insurance adjuster, and would have no problem getting it covered."

The roof was replaced and the adjuster asked for photos of the sheathing Aaron took and stated he sent in to the adjuster, told my folks no worries it should be covered as he got great photos. While workers were replacing the roof, a worker stepped wrong and went through the ceiling in my folks bedroom. I will say Home Pride did apologize and repaired the hole.

The gutters also needed replaced and my father was determining which kind he wanted to go with. During this time my father unexpectedly passed away. I then became involved in the process.

A statement was received in the meantime. I was told the insurance did not cover the sheathing as Aaron had assured my folks it would. Aaron told me on the phone he met with the adjuster was immediately told it would not be covered. He also informed me the downspouts would not be covered.

Upon hearing this I contacted the adjuster and was informed she never spoke with Aaron nor did he send in the photos he was supposed to.

I met with Aaron the first time, and explained the photos needed to be sent in. I also specifically asked him if the invoice my mother received was the total bill including gutters. He stated yes, the only additional cost would be the downspouts.

After my intervention insurance did cover the downspouts and sheathing.

We received three more invoices all with different amounts due. Keep in mind my mother and I were planning, holding a funeral for my father.

Finally able to contact billing and was told the final amount due was nearly 8k higher than what Aaron had already assured me was the total due. This according to Home Pride was due to an employee entering 200 instead of 2000 for work, my getting covered the work Aaron lied and said wouldn't be, and being told Aaron should have never told me that was the final bill. Unacceptable on every level.

While the work was good, I strongly suggest folks look other places to have their roof done, as the bookkeeping and mistruths by one of their project managers made a tough situation much harder.

Somehow my review wasn't posted about a month ago.
Horrible communication. Quality of work average, at best. Was quoted new roof including removal replacement of lightning suppression system. Never did get any lightning protection. They did the "work" in August and kept telling me they were trying to source lightning suppression equipment...first invoice came Oct 16, no mention of payment being due immediately or 30 days or whatever.
They promptly filed a lien on my property on Oct. 17th...

Mike was amazing. He was honest with us when he inspected our house and told us it was in good shape. Due to the honesty, we had him inspect a house we use as an office. The honesty and communication were consistent throughout the process. He also worked around our active business. Best construction experience we have had in 20 years. Thanks

Every step in the process of obtaining a new roof and many windows and doors was flawless. All Home Pride representatives, and all of their subcontractors, were friendly, professional and competent. Excellent communication too. They worked well with Travelers Insurance. The repairs were a huge - about $200,000. I took the opportunity to upgrade to Marvin Ultimate windows since our area endures large hail storms. I wholeheartedly recommend Home Pride to those in need of a good repair team.

Everyone we encountered with Home Pride was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. From the general contractor (Mike Hodtwalker) and the window contractor (Steve Kryszak) to the roof, siding, window, door and gutter trades. We are extremely happy with our selection of using Home Pride to fix/replace all the storm damage we incurred. In our opinion, you can't go wrong choosing this company. They were excellent to work with.

If you are looking for high quality, comprehensive work combined with a high level of overall communication throughout the process, I would recommend Home Pride Contractors. I recently helped my mother-in-law with an extensive storm damage insurance claim involving her roof, siding, doors and gutters. Kudos to Diego Reyes. He did an excellent job in guiding us through the entire project and keeping us updated.

I love good customer service! Home Pride definitely delivered on this ten fold! I had a very complex situation regarding storm damage to the roof of my duplex. Obviously my attached neighbor has different insurance. In a nutshell, Jeff Vest definitely went the distance for my neighbor & I. He made it possible with endless negotiations between both insurances. He was always available for questions and explained much of the process better than anyone at my insurance company. I truly cannot say enough good things about Home Pride. You have earned my confidence and future business for sure. Thank you SO MUCH Jeff & and everyone else that I didn’t get to thank for my new roof!

Home Pride replaced my roof & gutters and window. The entire process was very streamlined, great communication, upfront pricing, and follow-up. There was some back and forth with the insurance adjuster, but I didn't have to stress. Everything was handled in a professional and swift manner, and things worked around my schedule & needs. My project manager, Aaron Wilson, was always prompt and thorough in getting things done. He made the process easy and over delivered. Would definitely work with the Home Pride team again.

This review is specific to replacement windows and a sliding door. The initial consultation were prompt and we were able to quickly find the right products for our needs. We had to wait twice as long as we thought for the products to arrive but once they did, the installation crew came out right away and completed all of the work on a very cold day in January! New windows replaced the old single pane/storm window combination and now our home is warmer already! Thanks for the great work!

Homepride is a great company , Steve was very helpful with window selection , the whole process was easy breezy, Bryan and his install crew were top notch, hope to use them on other projects. Old divided window versus new awning window. I love it!

Today Home Pride and Team completed a roof replacement for us. I want to specifically praise Mike Hodtwalker of Home Pride who represented us in working with our Insurance Company to replace the roof and skylights in its entirety. We went from our Insurance not wanting to pay anything to completely replacing it fully less the deductible. It was truly Mike Hodtwalker that made this happen and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. I would fully recommend Home Pride and Mike Hodtwalker for all your roofing needs. Thank you Mike and the Home Pride Team incredible job!

Hands down the best roofing company in Omaha. They have helped several of my clients, as well as me personally. They are honest, ethical and answer the phone. When they say they are going to do something they do it. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Steve Garza is always good to work with. He was driving by and noticed some shingles had blown off ridge caps and arranged for the repair.
