We have been extremely happy with our retaining wall that Hardscape Contractors built. We have gotten nothing but positive reviews from our neighbors. Now we’re trying to figure our what we want them to do next . Thank you Hardscape Contractors.

It was great working with Mike, Scott, and the contractors. I was looking for something different and unique for the deck/patio that would include a kick out on the deck for the swing. I also wasn’t looking for the same old square and circular deck. They listened, took the dream ideas put them to paper to make them into reality. Thank you Mike appreciate your active listening and enhancing the ideas!

More importantly, Scott the Project Manager was hands on from start to finish. He ensured the project came to reality every step of the way. Much appreciated!

We contracted this company for a commercial project that included a large paver patio, privacy fence with security gate, fountains, gazebo, retaining walls, stairs and handrails, landscaping, and trimming of existing trees. They were very professional and worked well with our client. The design was done by their team and absolutely knocked it out of the park! The quality speaks for itself. Would highly recommend for any outdoor project.

It's obvious that Hardscape Contractors has done this before. All we knew was that we wanted a pool. We hadn't thought through the placement, shape or features. Hardscapes came up with a strategy to leave some existing trees to provide shade over part of the pool, while removing other trees to provide direct sunlight over the remaining part. It was brilliant! They also worked through our lifestyle needs with a focus on small children (secure cover, pool entry, etc). They were great to work with and led us through the project with expertise and experience. This project was very extensive, involving a lot of infrastructure build out. Thank God we went with this group!!

PS - After leaving this review I went back to look at the others and saw a few negative reviews that didn't match our experience. I've learned that there is another contractor in town with a similar name. Make sure you are working with Hardscape Contractors (Mike and Scott).

Mike and the sub contractors did a wonderful job creating our patio space and retaining wall. They were very professional and fast and the end result looks amazing. We are very pleased with our outdoor space now. The only negative we encountered with this project was working with the project manager. Communication with us and the sub contractors and inspectors was lacking. This unnecessarily extended the completion of our project by several weeks. We highly recommend their company for any landscaping project.

I cannot speak highly enough about this company! They are honest, communicate all aspects of the project and are just great people. If you are looking to do an outdoor project or put in a pool, you need to have a conversation with these people.

I cannot say enough good things about Hardscape Contractors. They did an excellent job of translating our landscaping and patio vision into reality. Their communication throughout the project and meticulous attention to detail was outstanding. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Up front, honest, transparent and HIGH QUALITY PROFESSIONAL WORK. These guys kept us involved in the entire process of the construction of our pool, start to finish. We had a very pleasant experience working with Hardscape. We did a patio renovation as well as add a “princess patio” to our master bedroom over the new patio. This was a very clever design on their part. Mike and Scott communicated very well and they were both very helpful/responsive. Each segment of our plan was very clear and my wife and I were never uncertain of the next steps. Their communication made it easy to integrate with other contractors for complementary jobs. Additionally, the workspace was very clean and they respected our property. Now we can finally enjoy our formerly unshaded and warm backyard. It’s a very pleasant and dry space now. I would highly recommend them for other projects.

I'm normally not a fan of leaving negative reviews. But the communication abilities of this company are completely nonexistent.

Initially we reached out to have them estimate some remodel work for us. After ghosting us for a number of days, they responded with an hour's notice of them coming to check out our job. We had to scramble a bit to make sure we were around, but whatever.

They came and checked out the work we were quoting. The guy who came was extremely friendly and willing to answer our questions. He explained that we'd get a written estimate in a few days.

A week+ went by, and we never heard from them with a written quote. I reached back out to them again, asking about the written quote, and the request was never responded to. Crickets after the initial contact.

I'm sure they probably do good work. And when they came for an estimate, they were very friendly. But the complete lack of communication outside of the visit, and the completely ghosting after the initial visit, leaves me unable to trust that they'd actually deliver on what was promised. Your mileage may very, but I wouldn't trust these guys to deliver on their word, if you need something done in a relatively scheduled manner.
