I received a call from a very young and immature girl named Nina asking if I wanted to start a membership for maintenance on my unit after years of not using this company. Why on earth would they have this person calling people to sign up when the most that came out of her mouth was a whole bunch of hummmmms. Also the amount of times I was put on hold after each question I asked totally ridiculous. This kid needs better training. I get the whole cheap labor but come on! After letting this poor girl struggle with her sales pitch joke was on her I don’t live in Vegas anymore.

I just want to take a moment to Recognize Henry for being one of the hardest working people I know His dedication, reliability, and work ethic make a real difference everyday day. I highly recommend Henry he is a great A1 Mechanical HVAC services☺️

Once the temperature reached over 100 our AC went out. It was one of those "Oh NO!" moments. I was glad they were able to come out same day and arrived at 6pm and stayed until all systems checks had been made and we understood what to do and what to look for if it happened again. Basically - our air filters were pretty full (even though we change them 4x a year) and the coolant wasn't able to work. We had to turn the AC off for a few hours so the lines could defrost and work again. It was warm for 4 hours - but then it worked again!

The tech advised we changed our filters every month in the summer - who knew!? It's so dusty and windy here, it can really clog things up. They checked back in with us the next day to make sure everything was working correctly. Was very glad and appreciative it was a fix and not a unit replacement. Thanks A-1 and especially to Doug for explaining everything in terms we could understand.

technician did a good job. customer service rep nina called me to follow up and make sure that everything was still running good after my service.

Juan B from A-1 came by to complete our seasonal maintenance to prepare for the cooler months. He is courteous, efficient and took photos of the work he performed in the attic on two units, sharing them when describing his work.

A-1 recently sent Wes out to finish up repair of the swamp cooler pump at my office. He was friendly, polite and efficient. Chris came out to the office prior to this to start the process of repair and he was just as professional and courteous too. Thanks guys!

9/15/25 Emiliano & Jesus were sent to my office today for repair of a wall unit. They were prompt and courteous, performed their work efficiently, answered all my questions and didn't leave the office until I was satisfied the unit was working properly. Thanks guys!

Felix was extremely helpful and was able to get my ac unit fixed within a reasonable amount of time, I will never go to another ac company ever again in my life because the service was that amazing!

A-1 Mechanical has a great followup maintenance program for new air conditioning systems. The workman was very polite and explained clearly why he was here. He also advised me that future maintenance calls would cost 130.00. Air has worked perfectly since installation in January 2023.

Being new to NV and Vegas we did not know any A/C contractors . We had great luck with Carrier brand A/C in CA so we checked out both authorized dealers for Carrier in Vegas. Both came in price wise within a few dollars but A—1 offered a full ten year parts and labor warranty, were the other only offered a two year labor and ten year part’s warranty. I had Ramon from A-1 come out and I really worked him , but he is super knowledgeable, professional and actually it was fun to work with him. We settled on the premium Carrier Infinity units because I had them in CA. They are not inexpensive the two 4Tons were in the $40k range installed . But they are very efficient on power and will last with annual maintenance at least 15+ years. They cool the home great and have a Wi-Fi /App to control the system anytime anywhere you might be.
The A-1 install team were top notch, very polite and took great care to protect floors and walls. George the crew supervisor knows his stuff and makes sure his team does things the way he expects.
Ramon the advisor that sold the system was at one time was a technician himself and was here the entire day to make sure everything went as he had promised and he himself did the new outside electrical boxes , installed and programmed the thermostats . Then taught my wife and I how to work everything.
Being new to NV and Vegas I could not be any happier with my selection of A-1 Mechanical & Electric. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing A/C or electrical work or new systems.

“This is a follow-up review after one year in Vegas, where I utilized A-1 Mechanical for my A/C and electrical needs. When I first moved to Vegas, I met with Ramon and selected the top-of-the-line Carrier Infinity system utilizing two 4-ton units based on Ramon's assessment of what would meet my stated needs of maintaining 68-70 degrees year-round. Later I had Vic, and his team come out to install the electrical required to install a new spa that I purchased. They did an amazing job of routing the wiring through my ceiling with very few ceiling cuts. They also replaced an extremely high-security light on the side of my house and fixed the circuit it was on. Finally, I had Ramon spec out a mini-split system to make my three-car garage temperature comfortable year-round. The A-1 Teams (A/C & Electrical) did an amazing job on the installation. I could not be happier that I was lucky to find a quality company to handle all of my HVAC and electrical needs. I highly recommend having Ramon work with you to get the right HVAC system and Vic's team on the electrical side to help you with anything electrical.”

Quick response time and courteous staff. The a/c system wasn’t working properly. Just a couple hours after calling, Juan B was here and did a thorough inspection of the system. He had the problem fixed in about 30 minutes!! Reasonable repair cost as well. I highly recommend A-1!!!
