Wyatt, the technician, was very professional, paid close attention to detail, and made the process simple for us. I called late at night when our heater stopped working and the house was getting really chilly. After trying several companies, I was happy when this team could schedule an appointment for early the next morning. Even with their after-hours rates, the price was much better than others I had checked with. The technician, Wyatt, reached out by phone before coming over, which was really helpful so I could get everything ready before he arrived. When he got here, Wyatt quickly found the problem—a corroded wire—and fixed it so the sensor worked again. Soon enough, we had both heat and hot water restored! The total cost was only $167, even though it was a weekend, which I thought was very fair for the work done. They charge from when they leave their shop, but since they’re close by, it wasn’t an issue. Wyatt also stayed in touch by text, which made things much easier since I was coordinating repairs for my father’s rental property. Overall, I was very impressed with how prompt, professional, and reasonably priced the service was. I would definitely use them again for any heater repair needs and highly recommend them to others.

I strongly recommend Mirage HVAC Solutions for AC repair and related services. I had my heat pump unit relocated, and also got both of my AC units cleaned and checked for refrigerant. Wyatt came out to give me a quote and explained everything about the AC work in simple terms, taking time to answer all my questions. Calvin handled moving the unit and did the cleaning. When a small area was missed during the cleaning, it was quickly fixed on the next visit when the refrigerant was topped off, and I was given a generous discount for the oversight. The team provided excellent customer service, responded quickly to my calls, and were always happy to help with any questions I had. Living in Nevada, it gets really hot, so it's great to have a reliable company to keep my AC working well.

Robert and his crew were excellent! They outbid the two 5* companies we called and were exceedingly professional. They worked very hard and even put in a new circuit breaker because our's was not working correctly- at their cost. My husband keeps saying they are "old style workers" meaning that they have solid values and work ethics and do not nickel and dime you. They installed a A/C unit we purchased from the internet and it was a pretty complicated job as we wanted cool air in our blazing hot garage and had not purchased all of the proper hoses etc. needed to complete the job. I would highly recommend them and will use them every time for any of our A/C needs.

Robert’s AC is a great company. They have reasonable prices and are very knowledgeable. We call them and they responded very quickly.

I had mislaid Roberts contact and warranty so I contacted another company
When the tech came to see the he stated
1: I found the compressor (that Robert had installed new only 2 years ago) on the roof to have the reversing valve stuck on heating and that the part was bad.
2: The refrigerant was the wrong type for this unit and that the indoor unit was not compatible with the outdoor unit.
3: He said they would have to replace the Ox Box which is an air handler for $11,178.
4: They said a mismatched unit like this would only work for 2 years.
5: He also denied that there was a sticker on the unit to identify the original installation.

Luckily I found the original warranty as the unit was only 2 years old. Robert graciously agreed to not void the warranty as the unit was worked on by the other company
What he found was
1: The unit was not going into cooling as it was a special type that energizes in heating, not cooling.
2: The Istat was set on the O terminal and should have been on the B terminal which was how it had been left on installation 2 years ago.
3: it was also low on refrigerant due to a leaking Schrader which appeared to have been loosened to keep the unit in heat mode.
4: The wiring on the nest thermostat was changed to run on heating

The fix was to tighten the Schrader to prevent the leak. Apparently the units do match a 410 Acause and the coil that was installed 2 years ago is 410 A compatible. He also installed a TXV metering device for maximum efficiency as well as topping up the refrigerant.

Total cost $624.

I am so grateful to have connected again with Robert and had honest work done.

The moral of the story is to have multiple estimates and to never throw away receipts and warranty

Robert is a nice, professional guy. He was always on time and easy to reach. He explained things and was transparent about his recommendations. We got a new outdoor AC unit because ours was from '91. Instead of replacing our entire indoor unit he saved us money by just cleaning the coil and replacing the motor. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

The BEST service and education available in all of the Valley. The technical expertise in diagnostic investigation and repair was done right the first time. The honesty in what challenges we might experience in the future. He made a proposal within 24 hours for a regular maintenance program rather than changing parts now and it isn’t necessary.
