I'm giving a star because they came back. The first guy walked out on the job. Leaving me with a leaking toilet. After several calls back they came and shut it off. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS

Highly recommend Roto Rooter. Very professional and on time. Called 3 other plumbers on a Saturday in dire need of help with my mainline and Roto Rooter was the only company that would come out. They did a fantastic job. Will only use Roto Rooter in the future. Thank you.

Jay and Luiz came out exactly when they said that they would and they quickly assessed our issue. Very professional, honest, and caring!! Will call them again anytime we're in need of bad draining issues.

I recommended these guys to my sister to unplug a sink drain. I told her to go ahead and have them snake the drain all the way to the main and the washing machine line too. All he did was clean the trap and charge $215 for 15 minutes. Don't recommend again 😕

After a long day Sean made the extra stop late in the evening to crawl under the house and fix our water pipes. He was professional and friendly.

This is the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with. They are not interested in fixing problems, only up charging for unnecessary repairs. Use literally ANY OTHER COMPANY in Reno. I have been dealing with them "fixing" my water heater for over 2 weeks, they said they would credit me since the first fix for $500 was not the problem, then said I needed a part replaced and they would be back in 2 days with the part and only charge for thay and credit the labor. They missed the scheduled appt because they forgot to order the part, then sent another tech who said we just need to replace the whole unit. When we declined that and just wanted the part, they then purchased the correct part and quoted us an additional $1100 to install that part. We have been told for the last 10 days that a supervisor would be in touch and we have still not heard from anyone.

As advertised! They came out the following day within the window frame they provided. The technician was friendly, fixed the issue within 30 minutes, and even whistled while he worked. No bs! Will use this service again in the future, if ever needed.

Great experience all around. They got out in a timely manner from when I called. And had the problem fixed in a few hrs. The service technician was also friendly and knowledgeable

This was hands down the worst plumbing experience of my life. Roto-Rooter should be ashamed of themselves. The plumber they sent to my home wasted 7 hours of my day doing absolutely nothing except repeating the same useless procedure over and over while telling me “just one more time.” He must have said that a hundred times like a broken record, and in the end, the problem was exactly the same as when he started only now I was out hundreds of dollars and 7 hours of my life I’ll never get back.

He took multiple breaks on the clock, disappeared for over an hour with no explanation, and clearly had no clue what he was doing. This wasn’t just incompetence it felt like a blatant attempt to run up the bill. When we finally told him we were done, I called another local plumber who came out today, charged me less than half of what Roto-Rooter scammed me for, and actually fixed the issue in under 30 minutes. That plumber even told us point-blank that Roto-Rooter completely ripped us off and the plumber sent to my house was just trying to rack up the bill.

As local business owners, we always try to stay local and support others, but this company is nothing but a scam operation preying on people who don’t know better we are extremely disappointed and as an extremely large local Reno business i will make it a point to tell everyone i know how horrible this company is . They wasted my time, stole my money, and gave me zero results. I wouldn’t let Roto-Rooter touch a garden hose, let alone my plumbing. Avoid them at all costs this company is a joke and a ripoff.

Called on a Saturday for an emergency we were having at the restaurant with several drains backing up. They sent someone extremely quickly. When Sean arrived, he assessed the problem quickly and explained the process of how they would be fixing it. He was professional and informative giving me confidence throughout the process. He was able to fix our issue in a timely manner and even discussed preventative options we could do to help avoid similar issues. Awesome service.

Michael was fantastic. He walked me through carefully finding the problem, offering some options based on cost and then made sure the faucets and inner cartridges were set right and wouldn’t have any more leaking. He got things taken care of quickly. He walked me through the whole process (“knowledge is power”) and tested everything when it was finished so I could see the problem solved. Thank you, Michael.

Prices are comparable and reasonable and the technicians are very honest and straightforward. I've worked with 3 other companies in Reno and these guys are definitely on top of my list. They were able to finish and resolve a plumbing job at my rental property that another plumber failed to complete.
