February 19, 2025: Mikey called about 30 minutes before arrival. He descaled our tankless water heater. He was very conscientious in his work and left the job site cleaner than before he started working. Thank you for another positive service call Mikey and Savage and Sons.
January 21, 2024: Brandon H revived our Kohler bath with airjets after a nearby motor vehicle accident took out the utility pole causing a massive and destructive power surge to our home. He is the only Kohler certified technician in Reno. Cheers Brandon and Savage and Son

Savage and Sons is our go to plumbing company. They are always easy to work with and courteous. This time Robert fixed both toilet and sink problems in the same bathroom. He was both prompt and professional in figuring out the problem and completing the work. He explained what was needed and what he would do to make the fix. He provided information on how we could get warrantee coverage for the toilet. We will definitely call Savage and Sons again for any plumbing work we need to have done.

I have already reviewed the wonderful phone service and price so this is an update. Priced for the work was sight in line to the [hone estimate. Work was thorough and quality of the workmanship was excellent. The water heater is a Bradford White, a recognized as the top brand, which other more expensive company bragged about. Installation took exactly the time quoted and I am a extremely happy customer.

On 6/8/25 I called Savage and Son with a plugged sewer problem and got an appointment for 6/9/25 between 2:00-4:00.
On 6/9/25 at 12:30 I got a call from an employee from Savage and Son to let me know that he was on his way to my house.
After he arrived at my house he tried diligently to unplug the sewer line using different accesses and sizes of snakes but to no avail. In the end his equipment broke and he had to leave my house with the job undone.
I called the office to ask them what could be done now? The women that I spoke with asked if she could call me back. She called me back in about 15 min. and said she had another employee on his way from Incline.
He arrived at the house about 4:00,I asked if he knew what what’s had done and he said that he had spoken to the previous employee and the office and that he was confident that he could fix the problem.
He worked for about 2 hours and got my sewer unplugged!
Savage and Son completed the job on the same day even with the delays, I feel that Savage and Son went above and beyond to get my problem solved! THANK YOU, Savage and Son

Savage and Sons have been our plumbers for many years. Whenever we need service, Kathleen is just a phone call away. She does all she can to schedule prompt service every time. Today Robert showed up promptly to repair a clogged kitchen drain. He was professional, helpful and got the job done quickly.
What an amazing company. I would not use anyone else.

Have used S&S for years with no problems. Recently had ice maker drip leak at front of side by side refrigerator, floor level and the individual on the call went off on a tangent about the repair and instructed me to not interrupt her while on her tangent referencing moving the refrigerator, removing food to coolers, etc. It was a bizarre conversation. I had picture of leak but she wasn’t interested. Seemed to not want to deal with it so recommended some guy that has not even bothered to return my call. Kitchen Aid rep was great and scheduled repair immediately. I would think a company that brags about being around since the 1800s would be able to repair a tiny drip leak in an ice machine line for a 15 year customer. Time to make a change.

We just had Savage & Son Plumbing out to install a new bathroom faucet and advise us on a couple of other issues. As always, we were impressed with their professionalism and care. We've been working with Savage for some time and have never been disappointed. They are an excellent company to work with. Thanks to Tom, Kathleen and all those at Savage and Son.

The City of Fernley called me about very high water usage at my rental. My State Farm Agent recommended Savage Plumbing. Called Savage and within 3 hours, pipe break was repaired and all was good. The cost was very reasonable.

Robert showed up earlier than expected which really worked out for me. I led him to my backyard where my clean out was located and he was able to clear my sewer line completely, pulling out some roots. He was more than punctual, efficient, professional and friendly! I will only turn to Savage and Son's for all future plumbing issues and will highly recommend this company to all 👍

When the washing machine emptied, the water backed up into the shower in the adjacent bathroom. This is a known recurring problem, every six months to two years. I decided to try Savage & Sons to see if they could come up with any new ideas. When the technician arrived he was friendly and listened to my stories about the history of the problem. He snaked the indoor portion of the drain. That made the situation better but not completely fixed. Two days later the situation was just as bad as before. Same technician came back a week after the first visit. He snaked the outdoor portion of the drain. And again, two days later the situation was just as bad as before. No new ideas here. They state upfront that there is no warranty on drain services, but still it hurt to pay full price for the second visit. And a repair that normally lasts six months to a year, it only lasted two days.

We were thoroughly impressed with Savage and Sons! We had an emergency leak situation and they responded instantly! Keith and Darian were professional, friendly and efficient. They handled our repair with such ease and care! Grateful for their outstanding service! We would highly recommend Savage and Sons!

Tommy was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable and thorough and helped to make us feel valued and taken care of. Even though it was late at night and he had three more jobs to go to, he made sure we were happy, as much as possible with a hot water heater that just went out, as possible and had all the information we needed to move on. He was not rushed and really explained to us what the problem was. We will use Savage and Sons again in the future. When Joey came back to instal our unit, he equally was amazing. Same professional qualities. Very kind , knowledgeable and thorough. He stayed and answered all my questions afterward. Kathleen was superb in her communication as well. They are the best in town.

After we had a leak under our house the night before, Savage and Son was quick to get someone out the very next morning. Service technician Robert came out, promptly fixed the issue, and then even fixed leaky shower faucet handles that had been a nuisance. Great service and we would definitely recommend them!

I recently had a fantastic experience with Savage & Son, Inc. My kitchen sink was completely backed up, so I gave them a call. To my surprise, a technician arrived within the hour – talk about fast service! Tommy, the technician, was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. From the first call with Kathleen, to the service from Robert, the experience was absolutely amazing. I was lucky enough to get an appointment just hours after inquiring. The price for a water heater replacement was unheard of! Robert was very nice and professional. He answered all my questions in a clear way. I definitely recommend Savage and Son for your future needs.

Technician Mikey showed up on time , introduced himself and proceeded to get to work right away. He explained what he was going to do and made a few suggestions for options and they were good ideas.
He cleaned up after himself and completed his work in a timely manner.

We had a good sized water leak in our basement but couldn't identify the source. I called Savage and Son at the recommendation of my grandparents. They were extremely friendly over the phone and got me an appointment same day. The plumber, Michael, called when he was on his way and gave an accurate arrival time. Upon arrival he began quickly to identify where the water came from and within 2 hours had found the issue and fixed it! Will definitely being calling Savage and Son again for our next plumbing needs!

Mikey was a lifesaver. He had a job to replace the hot water heater. Instead of him just starting the job he took the time to try to relight the pilot. Which he did successfully. He also checked out the unit and is all good. He made my day. When the time comes I will call you for the replacement. Thank you so much.

Savage and Son is the best plumbing service out there. They have been consistently reliable, professional and fair priced. I cannot say enough good things about them. Their plumbers who come out to service our issues have been thorough and competent. A special shout out to Kathleen Mulrooney, their Service Dept/Customer Service person who is BEYOND helpful, friendly, smart and gets the job scheduled and done. She knows her customers too. When we have a plumbing issue/crisis in our home, I am always glad she is the one on the other end of the phone helping us!! Loyal fans and customers over here!! 5-stars all the way!!

I had the pleasure of working with Tommy from Savage and Sons to fix a leaky pipe that was now putting water damage through the ceiling. He was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire process. Tommy communicated clearly, making sure I understood what needed to be done and answered all of my questions with patience and expertise. It’s rare to find such great service these days, and I truly appreciated how helpful and thorough he was. Highly recommend Tommy and Savage and Sons for any plumbing needs!

I just want to express my deep gratitude for the outstanding service I received from Keith at Savage and Son. I had been told by others that I might need to replace my PRV or even the irrigation piping under my home—something that would have cost me thousands of dollars. But Keith came out, thoroughly inspected everything, and found that it was just a simple adjustment that was needed.
