Original Issue:
The business has been operating for 102 years, but its current owner—who inherited it—appears to lack the knowledge and professionalism needed to maintain its reputation. He presented himself poorly, wearing unclean clothes and demonstrating a very low level of education.

Problem:
We purchased a third backflow preventer valve from him after the water company initially provided two different models and later recommended a third model based on the supervisor’s advice. The first two valves were never used, and we were promised they would be returned. However, the owner refused to honor that promise to return the two unused valves, priced approximately $700, which is both unethical and dishonest.

Extremely disappointing. After a careful search, verifying their licensing, better business bureau rating, and reviews, we decided to go with Diamond. Do not recommend Diamond Plumbing. Our work was subbed out 100% to another company. The subcontractor was not local and started extremely late each day which delayed our project and inspection. They kept prioritizing other jobs over ours. The subcontractor damaged our water line and then knocked on our door trying to convince us to replace our water line while the trench was open, failing to disclose the damage that occurred. After a call to the town to fix the leak and our own inspection, we declined the work. Diamond was there to pick up the checks, and that was it. Do not recommend Diamond Plumbing.

Diamond plumbing did an excellent job hooking up the water and ice machine for our brand new refrigerator. The plumber that showed up was very professional, courteous, and efficient. They are very transparent and give you upfront estimates right there on the spot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A++++

I have used Diamond Plumbing now for 3 separate occasions. I was recommended to them by a friend that works with the company renovating homes. They have been very prompt for each issue that I have had. We had yo have 2 separate pipes fixed, and a faucet (all of them probably over 60 years old). On the one pipe issue, the technician that we had even offered us 2 options to fix it, understanding that we would need to do the financially responsible thing during COVID. I really appreciated him giving us a less expensive option that still fixed the problem! They are excellent about getting back to you right away, and always show up on time, if not early. It is nice to have a plumbing company that you can trust these days.

Just wanted to add to previous post. I am extremely happy with the service from William C. Diamond. We had few things that needed to be fixed and replaced and we received great service as always. Always happy to deal with Bill, he explains everything and does the job and runs a great business. Everyone that I have dealt with has been professional and easy to talk to and work with. Besides Bill, Darek was also here and thoroughly explained everything and just did the jobs and left everything working well and clean. Thank you for the top quality service and professionalism. Great company and would highly recommend!

Bill and his team are extremely professional and responsive. We called in because we had a leak that we couldn't find, they were out there within 24 hours and helped us locate and fix the issue. He and his team were also very helpful in setting us up with a restoration company and helping us through the insurance process. Two weeks later we needed help correcting an issue with our water heater for permitting, he had a guy in the area that day who was able to swing by and take care of us. Great customer service and friendly technicians.

Our nonprofit preschool El Primer Paso has used the William C. Diamond company for quite a few years for heating and plumbing services. They have always responded promptly and tried to provide us with options, recognizing our need to be financially prudent. The owner and his employees are extremely professional at all times and perform neat and complete work.
Based on my experience with the company, I would highly recommend them.

I love this company, William Diamond Plumbing, because whenever I contact them, they respond in a timely manner and get the job done. The workers are courteous, professional and efficient. I run a busy household and need a problem fixed the first time I address it. With this company, it's "one and done." One phone call and before you know it, the problem is solved, and you don't have to look back and deal with it again. It is well worth the money, as you get what you pay for with this company. I would highly recommend them to anyone, without hesitation, and I'm a picky customer.

Great job, very professional and didn’t sugar coat anything

Not impressed. Tech was professional enough but i probably paid twice what the job was worth. The scope was to replace about 4 feet of 1/2” pipe with 3/4” pipe one each side of the meter (left over from prior owner). Total of around 8’ of 3/4” pipe, new shut off valve, a tee, a few elbows and a few fittings. Added was a new meter yoke per water department’s request. They had trouble sourcing but I was able to get from a local supplier with one phone call. So $600 turned into $900 because the work was so “important “. Between the two trips the tech was there maybe 90 minutes. The work was done properly and neat but was clearly taken advantage of. I would not be a good referral. I’m sorry to say all this as they were referred by a trustworthy source.

William was prompt and came out the same day I called to verify I indeed needed an indirect water heating tank replaced. He was on time and they were able to get my unit replaced within a couple days! They were professional, honest on pricing and punctual! I could not have asked for a better experience. I plan on using them again and you should to. I am a contractor myself but did not have the time to do this as I had a trip I had to leave for. They helped me feel like my wife and children were in good hands so that I did not have to cancel my trip. For one I knew about how much this should cost and they were spot on and for two they took care of my family. Having a warm bath is important! Thanks guys and gals at this company!

I had a new AC condenser and air handler installed to replace an outdated system. The crew showed up on-time and completed the work in under 5 hours. The new system is working great and the installation is very clean, all debris was removed. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely be doing business with Diamond Plumbing in the future.

Bill was great, very professional, informative and straight forward. He completed the work in a timely manner and didnt try to sell me on new equipment like some of the other companies that recently came to address the issue with my HVAC system. Highly recommend!

The work was prompt but we were shocked when receiving the bill. It was a <3H fix with a change of 24v transformer (<$100) and two other units (total <$100), but we got charged more than 1.7K for it! There was an estimation call, but somehow the call didn't go through successfully. We waited for them to call again but did not get a call for the estimated price before processing either. Certainly, a critical communication was missing. As a result, we got charged more than 2x the fair market price with a non urgent fix. BE WARE OF THIS PLACE!!

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon WCD five years ago when I bought my house. From our first need for service they have been amazing. They are thorough, prompt, knowledgeable and everyone we have met through a number of different service calls for needs in our 100+ year old home have been friendly. The work is always done quickly and very well. Bill himself has done some work at our house and we appreciate being a valued customer of the company.

We use Bill and his team for all of our remodel projects. Their office manager, Kim, is a pleasure to work with. The field team is knowledgeable and courteous and they do the job well. We are so happy to have found them.

The replacement of my tankless hot water heater went great. The technician was very pleasant. Upon removing the old unit noticed the exhaust vent was corroded. He needed to get the part and returned in 20 minutes, then completed the install.
The only thing that bothered me and prevented giving 5 stars was he needed a step latter and drain pail, but without asking me, went into 2 storage areas to get them.
Also, just used my bathroom without asking me first. That is only proper courtesy when you're in someone's house.
As for the workmanship, excellent job. Reasonable price, too.

I always feel confident when I need plumbing work because every plumber from this company who has worked in my home has done a terrific, professional job.

William C. Diamond was recommended to me by a handyman service that I use and trust and they did not disappoint. I had a pipe leaking from my upstairs toilet into my kitchen ceiling so I needed help fast. I called them on a Friday and by Monday afternoon my leak was fixed. Their technician was neat and cleaned up after his work. He was also very pleasant and seemed to really enjoy his work. (I don't see much of that anymore) And I have to mention the office staff/receptionist - very professional, helpful, understanding, and efficient. They kept me up to date on the time of my appointment and even followed up to ask if I was satisfied with the work (I also don't experience that much anymore.) I would highly recommend!!!

We had a wonderful experience with Diamond Plumbing and Heating. Our AC went out during the heat wave in late June. We had used them one time in the past when we had an issue with the heat in winter years ago. Their whole team had great communication and was very reliable. They came to the house on time and the quote they provided to us was true. Diamond proved to us they value their customers and they do that by building trust with their customers. They explained why we were having the issues we were having both times and were patient as we asked our questions. As someone who usually shops around I definitely trust Diamond more than anyone else in the area for my plumbing/heating/ and AC needs.
