They were great. My son flushed toys down the toilet, and they came the same day I called. The problem was resolved quickly, and the price was fair. Fast and professional service. I’ll definitely use them again.

Had new handler and condenser installed for hvac. 2 seasons. 2 leaks. Ducts were already in place. Employee that installed them no longer works there. Employee that came to fix problem told me lines were clogged. Which was a lie and didn’t actually fix anything. Didn’t repair damaged ceiling. Had someone else come second season and opened up entire unit to find it filled with water.

Hofmeister plumbing try's to please everyone. But as you know we cannot please everyone. All we can do is make an honest attempt trying to serve the community. the employees at Hofmeister are top of the line and have a wide variety of technical knowledge, (there is always someone who will have the know how to get the job done). We want the customer to have peace of mind that everything will be taken care of to 100% completion. from the office to the service techs we are a family over here and treat anyone wanting to work with us the same. Hofmeister is professional, quick, on time, and worked around my schedule. Nancy always found a way to accommodate my homes needs and most times same day service🙏. Being a 1st time home owner I value having a solid company like Hofmeister servicing my home. Having techs like Harold & Shawn who make time for me personally, I couldn’t be more grateful. During the summer my AC went bad and Shawn put aside his personal plans to service and ultimately replace my unit! It’s that kind of service you will get from Hofmeister! We had an issues with our outside spigot leaking leaving an ice rink on our cold plunge deck. We called and they were able to come the next day. They showed up when they said they would and resolved the issue for us within a hour. Very responsive, professional and fixed our issue! We will definitely be calling them again! Highly recommend.

My mother-in-law is 100 years old. I live in Chicago, and she lives in Paramus, so I need to work with quality vendors, who will solve the issue and not take advantage of the situation.

I give Hoffmeister 5 stars on both. Jesus did a great job finding and fixing the issue, which included a problem that prior plumbers missed. Nancy kept me the loop every step of the way, with plenty of pictures and explanations.

Wish I could give SIX STARS. Last week during this frigid weather our boiler died. Shawn came and saved the day. He brought us space heaters so we could survive until our beautiful new gas boiler arrived. Shawn did an expert installation and now we’re toasty warm. Please don’t call a plumbing company which is part of a group. Hofmeister is a family owned business with real people, like Nancy, who always answer the phone and then go into action. Believe me, you won’t be sorry.

We had a leak in our ceiling and I called H. Hofmeister right away. Nancy answered the phone and she was super polite and knowledgeable. She had Jesus come by the same day. Jesus was able to open up the ceiling. He didn’t try to oversell anything— he wanted to make sure we would not spend unnecessary money. At first he was unable to locate a leak and advised me to give them a call if the leak continued. Within about 3 hours I noticed where it was coming from. The leak was so small it took me about 10 minutes to even see it! I called Nancy back to tell her I found the leak. Nancy and Harold got Jesus back on the phone and Jesus came right back. He fixed the leak in less to an 5 minutes! Although he really didn’t have to, he even cleaned up the mess from the ceiling (sheet rock). This company is reasonable priced and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone! Thank you H. Hofmeister! You got a lifelong customer now!

Harold responded quickly and did a great job with our plumbing issue. His project manager, Nancy, was friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly. Overall, excellent service — highly recommend!

Hofmeister plumbing company truly went above and beyond for us. Late in the day, I had to turn my main water valve off for a project I was doing, suprise suprise it would not turn back on . I honestly thought we’d have to pack up and stay in a hotel for the night, they stepped in and completely saved the day.

Even though it was close to the end of their workday, they responded quickly, arrived promptly. Within no time, they diagnosed the issue, explained everything clearly, and had the problem fixed before the situation got any worse.

What could have turned into a stressful and expensive night ended up being resolved with skill, and genuine care. We were able to stay in our home thanks to their dedication.

Like many in the NYC area, I had frozen pipes this past Sunday due to the record cold. After opening the faucets and applying heat, water was still limited so I called Hofmeister, who had done work for me in the past. Less than 20 minutes later, the owner was on my doorstep! He assessed the problem and was preparing to apply a heating device when the water started flowing on its own. He explained a few steps to ensure the water kept flowing (keep faucets dripping). When I asked how much I owed he replied “nothing”!! The response was the same when I asked again, he simply refused to accept payment.

Very rare to find a person so kind and devoted to an occasional customer. So, if you have a plumbing issue give Hofmeister a call!

Exceptional service. We had a problem with hot and cold valves leading to our washer. Due to the type of pipe installed when house was a built a different plumber had made multiple attempts to resolve but was unsuccessful. I called Hofmeister who right off the bat was super responsive and sent someone the same day. Enter Shawn who was so professional and determined to come up with a solution for this problem. He was diligent. very thoughtful problem solver, and tried multiple fixes until the solution was resolved. Shawn was exceptional and I was beyond impressed!!!! I will now always use Hofmeister for all my plumbing needs. Thank you so much!

Recently had Harold and Mike to our home; Harold for a loose faucet which couldn't be resolved due to a missing part (faucet eventually replaced); and Mike to resolve a slow drain in kitchen sink. Drain issue very satisfactorily resolved and sink now draining well. Both were very courteous and professional.

I honestly was speechless at how great of a job Shawn and his team did. Not only that, the urgency to help us was just amazing. My wife and I were sold not just on his honesty with the work but the personality. Would definitly recommend Hofmeister 100x over and over again!

I reached out for an emergency when my pipes had frozen and we had no hot water or cold water. They sent Shawn over within half an hour. He replaced the pipes that needed replacing Reset the hot water heater and guided us in the best way to keep it from happening again. Super happy with the speed and quality of service and cost.
