I've had two wonderful experiences with MGP Mechanical and Kevin Rael. The first time several months ago, he repaired and leak under the slab in the main bathroom. I was so impressed at his skill, the quality of the work and how he accessed the leak with minimal damage to the slab. Once the repair was complete, he did an excellent job closing up the area. The second experience with Kevin was minor; he unhooked the plumbing of a sink vanity while I am working on a small remodel. MPG and Kevin are very responsive, and Kevin is an absolute sweetheart. I am comforted knowing I finally have a wonderful, reliable plumber with MPG and Kevin!

The furnace had stopped running. Good thorough diagnostic and we are up and running again! Thank You!

Extremely dangerous reckless road rage full driver insisting on honking and weaving in and out of traffic ultimately culminating in him running the red left hand turn light. I can only surprise he was late to work and chose violating public safely driving protocols in the interest of shaving a few seconds off his day. Unacceptable especially when you are representing your company in a company vehicle.

My AC stopped working over the weekend. After consulting with a different company who told me my unit was old, quoted me an arm & a leg to repair and steered me towards total replacement, I called Gerald to also quote me for a new unit. Upon Gerald’s arrival, he quickly noted my unit wasn’t that old and should still last me another 10 years. He fixed the problem within 30 minutes at an affordable price. I am so grateful and will never go to anyone else for my HVAC & plumbing needs!!

Very thorough with the work they do. Elijah showed up on time and maintenance my swamp cooler. Ensured me of everything he completed and provided photos of the work he completed. Highly recommend these guys for sure.

I have used MGP for multiple projects over the years... actually about 20..I have always experienced excellent work and their quality is awesome! I trust this company! I called Wagner to see if they can fix what’s wrong with my ac. They wanted to charge me 13 grand to fix the problem. My family member referred me to MGP and Elijah showed up and not only go out of his way to see if I was still covered under warranty but to find the problem and fix it it..not trying to make a sale off me….thank you Elijah and thank you MGP Mechanical for hiring good people like him

I’m extremely disappointed with this company after what started as a great experience. My first service was completed by the owner, who was professional and thorough, and I even left a five-star review because of how well that visit went. Based on that, I decided to pay for a full year of HVAC and plumbing maintenance. Unfortunately, everything that followed was a nightmare.

During a follow-up maintenance visit, a technician serviced my water heater but failed to turn the water back on in my home afterward. I was out of town for a week and didn’t realize it until I returned — by then, my lawn and landscaping had suffered because my sprinkler system had no water. When I turned the water back on myself, I came home to find my hallway flooded. It turned out there was an obvious busted pipe on the water heater that the technician never repaired. If he had restored the water during his initial inspection, he would have noticed the leak.

When the same technician returned, he charged me to repair the pipe — which made absolutely no sense, given that the damage should have been identified and addressed during his original maintenance visit. It left me wondering if the oversight was careless or intentional, especially since the water had never been turned back on for him to confirm everything was working correctly.

Not long after, I needed service on my HVAC system. When it malfunctioned, the company came back out and quoted me a repair. After the water heater incident, I decided to get a second opinion. Another professional told me that the proposed repair would have been a complete waste of money — the entire unit required far more extensive work than the company claimed.

What started as a positive experience with the owner quickly turned into a frustrating service experiences. Between the careless technician, unnecessary costs, and lack of accountability, I can no longer recommend this company to anyone.

MGP is a great service company. I appreciate that the same technician, Kevin, comes to our house. He is familiar with our system and is a great problem solver and very courteous. I highly recommend them.

The company was extremely easy to work with. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using them in the future.

MGP Mechanical to the rescue!
A few weeks ago, we called in a plumbing company which had installed a water heater for us in 2023 to inspect our rooftop furnace when it started making a racket. The techs diagnosed it as a bent blower wheel and said they'd try to source a part, but more likely would need to replace it with a package unit that included refrigerated air. Since we got a new Master Cool evaporative cooler just a few years ago, we didn't plan on using refrigerated air, and we were clear we preferred a different solution. A week later we got an estimate for $11k for a package unit with no mention of a repair.
A neighbor recommended MGP Mechanical so we gave them a call and they came to diagnose the problem yesterday. They confirmed standalone furnaces are no longer manufactured but inspected the existing furnace and diagnosed it as a faulty MOTOR, due to a worn bearing. They sourced the motor, braved the very cold, blustery wind to install it, and it works beautifully -- we can't even hear when the heat comes on now. Plus owner Gerald and tech Elijah were professional, kind and personable, showing an obvious passion for their craft, and for solving problems that don't necessarily involve complete equipment replacement. And for about $500, the problem was fixed.
Five stars to MGP Mechanical. I highly recommend this company for all your plumbing and mechanical needs!

I had one of their guys, Kevin Rael, out to an upcoming listing today and wanted to post about it. We have had many good experiences with MGP, but today, Kevin went above and beyond by rolling with some unexpected challenges and even helping out with something outside the scope of the original appointment. They do a great job of keeping their employees well-trained and they are very organized. Great company.

Elijah Vasquez serviced our air condition and now is working great! He did a prompt job and was very professional.
I called this morning at 6:30 and buy 7 they called me with an appointment for the same day. I highly recommend this company.

MGP’s customer service from the first phone call to schedule service to Carlos finishing the repair was the best we have experienced in many many years. Carlos was very professional, knew what needed to be fixed. The shop had the part on hand and our hot water heater was back in service in a matter of hours from setting up the appointment and at a very reasonable cost. MGP Mechanical is a great company to work with from beginning to the end! We are extremely happy with their service. We had a Navien Tankless Water Heater installed a couple of weeks ago. Their prices were very reasonable. Gerald was very knowledgeable when came out and gave us a quote. Installers, Carlos and Noah were very respectful of our property. They made sure everything was done
properly before they leave. The city inspector came out and inspected our water heater within a couple of days and we got our green tag. We really lucked out and found such a great company that will service our home from now on. Thanks again, Gerald, Carlos, and Noah! We love having endless hot water at our home.
