Santino Ballog arrived on time. Listened to what my problem was and made some suggestions. Very professional and started work right away. He showed me the problem and the best fix. Work was excellent and problem solved. Who could ask for better. 5 Star.

I had a Furnace heating issue with my house. Sadly the furnace was new and just used about 2 weeks after the install in the previous spring. D' Angelo was the technician that came out to service my problem. He was prompt, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the furnace and its workings. After some time, he diagnosed the issue as being a thermostat. He did great work and when he was finished the final price was within my budget. I would recommend them to friends and family, and I will definitely call them for any future work my house may need.

Made an Appointment a week out and I was told I would receive a call that morning with an arrival time and that never happened. At 1pm I get a voicemail saying they need to reschedule with no apology what so ever. I have been waiting since 8am and have given up a huge portion of my day off for this appointment just so they can call me at the last minute to reschedule. If they can't keep an appointment for a new customer how do they treat their existing customers? What a horrible first impression. Guess they don't want my business.

Very pleased with B Carlson! We had a water heater replacement done by Drake and were impressed with his efficiency and professionalism. We were impressed with B Carlson’s and Drake’s prompt follow ups and service and I’d highly recommend them!

I waited all day after I called the day before and specifically asked if they can do leak detection, and repair same day. I have an underground water leak that will probably be multiple thousand dollar repair. Rather than actually thinking about big picture they are nickel and diming the small pieces of the project. It made it very easy to just say no. I have done this before and have paid for all these services before. Only reason I am not using same companies is because their repair only lasted one year. At 3pm they show up and say they have to call someone else and it’s $800 for leak detection and they are not sure they can come, and they stop working at 5pm. If someone asks a question about your services you provide and you do not know - ask someone who does. My expectations were set high and I was very disappointed and it resulted in this review and me not ever wanting to use this company or suggest anyone else use this company.

I have all-around great appreciation and admiration for B Carlson and the excellent professionals they have dispatched to help me both last month and this month, as several worrisome plumbing and HVAC issues were so well resolved they are works of art! You folks hit it out of the park again when you immediately answered my cry for help on a recent Friday, when there was water running down my kitchen wall and cupboard right under the site where a different company had badly botched a repair on a broken pipe disaster this past January. Dylan Ramos performed a beautiful job of replacing the pipe with all quality materials and removing the pitiful soggy mess the previous company had left me with. He also noticed a funny noise my toilet was making and even though it was getting late in the day on a Friday, he repaired the toilet's two issues and now it works like new and I have not heard a peep out of it. Keep up the good work B Carlson! I finally have folks I can trust when I need professional help for serious and urgent problems.

The plumber, Ivan, came to do an annual inspection. He was very courteous, very thorough, and very knowledgeable. He took care of everything quickly and answered all our questions. It was part of our membership and with it Carlson services have made sure our heating, cooling, and plumbing are working correctly. We are glad we have the membership.

We had a leak in our pipe in the front yard 6 months ago so we called B Carlson, they had good reviews online. $3,500.00 later we got our small pipe leak fixed. Fast forward to today and we have another leak a couple of feet from the original, but this time we called a company recommended by a friend. This company is also licensed, insured and bonded here in Albuquerque. To my surprise once they detected the leak I got an invoice for $880.00! They did the exact same work on the exact same pipe in the exact same area and I got charged $2,600.00 less. When I called B Carlson to ask the reason why it was so much more expensive for them to do the work I got a snotty response from management saying “you agreed and signed the papers before we did the work, that’s just the price we charge I don’t know what to tell you”. Not to mention the company we used today made a hole in our yard half the size and when B Carlson did our work they said they had to leave and come back to fill the hole and they forgot, so we had a massive hole in our yard for almost a week. Very disappointed, they are very overpriced and I am not happy with the way management treated me when I called. Will not be using again.

B Carlson continues to impress me. We use them a lot. I called this morning, expecting them to be swamped since it's a holiday week, but they had Dominic at my house in an hour. By noon, the system was working perfectly. All of B Carlson's techs have always been polite, professional, and good at their job.

Great service and Andres is very knowledgeable and he not only instantly solved my problems to get my HVAC working but he also recommended a thermostat that really helps me out. Im a disabled veteran and the thermostat he got me is just awesome. The remote interface uses my phone and it is so easy to program schedules and has so much adjustability and the user interface is easy once you get everything set up and functioning. These guys are the best!

Not only did you fix the issue, you were thorough and provided a detailed explanation of what was done and what we need to look out for in the future. B. Carlson is honest and I would recommend them and ask for Cody for any of your HVAC needs!

We had some HVAC issues at one of our properties. The scheduling was a little bit of a snafu getting multiple answers about the schedule for multiple people within the same organization. In other words, we had a two to 4 o’clock appointment received a text at 10 AM saying that the tech was heading out called them to see if it was real so that I could also head to the address. Was then told that someone would call me back which they did not I called again and they told me he was heading out there at 11:30. I waited an hour and they showed up at almost 1 o’clock by the time I got on site. That being said The technician D’Angelo was so impressivethat I forgot most of the scheduling snafu’s. In regards to the back office, I actually contacted MANAGEMENT and asked one of the owners to give me a call back because I would like to give him a compliment and never received that either.

UPDATE- Gary called me back after posting the review and apologized. The integrity that he displayed echo that of D’Angelo, which I found so impressive. I will definitely call them on the next one. This seems to be accompany that we can build a great relationship with with our businesses.

We got a new water heater and furnace from B Carlson and everyone involved was great! Drake was very knowledgable and helpful during the water heater install and Chris, Andres, and Dominic were great with the furnace install.
They were very quick to get us on the schedule and get everything up and running!

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to B. Carlson Plumbing, and especially to Kyle Givens and Corey Lucero, for their exceptional professionalism during a recent inspection at our property in Placitas. After years of unresolved septic issues and misleading and redirection by the septic installer, Kyle and Corey provided clear, expert insight into the root causes of our system failures.
They called in advance of their arrival then arrived exactly when they said they would. They quickly scoped our line with camera and they confirmed the presence of a belly in our main line, improper grade and backslope and tank sinking effect—issues that have plagued our system since its original installation. Their on-site assessment was thorough and candid, and they took the time to explain the layout and flow problems in detail. Their findings aligned with what we suspected but had never been properly acknowledged by the original installer.
Both gentlemen were direct in their assessment, stating that we had been “really ripped off” for years by the original installer and denial by that installer that there is any problem. Their honesty and technical clarity were a breath of fresh air in a process that’s been riddled with evasiveness and misinformation. And B Carlson's price was very fair for this diagnostic.

We had our swamp cooler recently replaced and had an excellent series of interactions with B Carlson.

As we were pricing various vendors we worked with Mario. He did a first class job understanding our requirements and was extremely well versed in the details of the units that B Carlson sells. He worked diligently with the sales team to get us a price that was competitive as well as future services (Care Club). These service and warranty plan gave us confidence that installing the unit late in the season did not involve a lot of risk, understanding that B Carlson will help start up the unit in the summer and guaranteed the product.

Andres, Hunter, Omar and JJ did a great job on the day of the install to coordinate with the crane team and safely remove the old unit and professionally install our new cooler. Each of these men was extremely proficient at their job during the install process and also helped us learn about our new unit and some of the unique circumstances with our home. Andres is a master of his craft!

After the install we really enjoyed using the unit and keeping cool for multiple weeks.

Dylan helped us winterize our units and get the furnaces going insuring that process was completed quickly and efficiently. He also made sure our furnaces were operating safely and not putting out any harmful gases. Thanks for this terrific support.

We worked with Allison, Amanda, and Olivia to get our inspection scheduled and competed with the city and I’m thankful for Jim and Anthony for helping out in support of that process.

We had a few very minor issues that B Carlson resolved along the way and my experience with B Carlson was top notch.

They are a customer service focused company and do excellent work which was shown in the interactions with their employees that I referenced over a month plus of time.

Had another great experience with B Carlson. As a member of the care club I had my residence plumbing system checked for free. It was great to understand more about where I live and any risks that existed with the plumbing system. Cody did a terrific job flushing the hot water heater and checked all the items on the plumbing checklist to see where we were at. With one potential trouble area he helped me understand the issue and issued a quote on how B Carlson could help us fix it. Understanding the problem completely helped us assess the risks and make an informed decision. Thanks for the great service associated with the Care Club

We are grateful for his timely approach to keep hot water in our home and ensure our install was up to code as it was previously a very old setup. From the moment I inquired about services and quotes to end of service I was thoroughly impressed and thankful for B Carlson heating cooling and plumbing inc. I was really impressed with their communication calling me a couple days ahead and letting me know what the appointment would be looking like and even the call the morning of to let me know when the tech was being dispatched. I had B. Carlson replace an old water heater, along with bring my water heater ductwork and gas lines up to code. The price was $4000! Yeesh! But I got a good vibe from the service technician, and they were able to do the work same day, so I was comfortable with paying a premium for the expedited service. They promised on the statement of work that they would pull a permit and set up an inspection with the local inspector. 6 weeks later, they still haven’t pulled a permit, the water heater is not inspected, and I have called multiple times to follow up. The response I have heard is “we will take care of it”. In my opinion it shouldn’t take six weeks to pull a permit, especially not at the premium I paid. I don’t think I can recommend B. Carlson, outside of the technician, who appeared to do a great job with the install

When are old dual fuel combo unit neared the end of its life, we called Carlson to help us replace it. We worked with Mario to select a cold-weather heat pump, and settled on a Bosch. Josh and Mikey did the installation and not only did they do a terrific job, but also were very knowledgeable and patient in answering all my questions. All in all, it was an excellent experience.

I don’t even know where to start.
I called this company recommended by a family member. I called and they came the same day. An HVAC tech came and was at our home for 1hr and the diagnostic came as we needed a new thermostat. After looking this up on YouTube me and my husband found the issue and it was the wiring not done right. Mind you the HVAC tech is certified. So me and my husband fix it and the heater was running well. I called the next day for a refund and spoke with Gary the general manager. He was rude and not helpful at all. I told him I wanted a refund or even half of a refund since they did service and he said no and to have a good day. I had my husband call and the same way he was treated like me rude and unprofessional. My husband requested a hire up than him and he stated he can help us there was no need for one and stated since you guys are not satisfied with our service I guess I’ll give you your money back. After being on the phone with him for 15 minutes he gave us a full refund. All I’m saying is don’t be rude to customers and be professional doesn’t cost to do this. I wonder how many customers they done this to. Sad!
