Drake was highly professional, detail-oriented, friendly, kind, and knew what to do! He took the time he needed to make me as a customer glad I called your company! He installed a new Kohler toilet, installed a new GE dishwasher, fixed the leak under my sink, made sure with new caulking around my sink that everything was perfect! Thank you Drake!

My serviceman was cordial, friendly, professional, and had a great sense of humor. He has been to my house several times and I feel very comfortable with him. He does a great job.

The overall service of B. Carlson is excellent. They have been my HVAC company almost since I bought this house, almost 30 years! Why so long? Why not another company? I tried several other companies, but one visit from B. Carlson was all I needed to know that this was the company for me. As they say "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Well, B. Carlson ain't broke, so I've no reason to fix them. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors many times, and I still do!

We called B Carlson HVAC because we were having issues balancing the heat in our rooms. Dominic came to the house and was polite, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. We were really impressed with his expertise and how clearly he explained everything.

Even when he went over the maintenance plan, we felt comfortable and never pressured.

This was our first time using B Carlson HVAC, and we’ll definitely be back. We’d give 10 stars if we could!

Santino was awesome. We'd been looking for a water filter (rather than softener because the salts, just aren't a good solution) for a while but our house (bought in 2021) was built back in the 1980's and the builders had taken some shortcuts, that made updating it rather difficult. The interior had been remodeled, but the electrical wouldn't support solar or refrigerated air (we had addressed those already) and in this case the water comes into the house through the main bathroom instead of the garage and the other plumbers we'd talked to had said we'd need to send a pipe up and over to the garage haver the filer in the garage, then send the water back up an over to the bathroom, and then those other plumbers never got back with the finished estimate because they just didn't want the problematoc project. Santino hooked us up with a citrine filter (a MODERN type of water softener that adds a chemical to convert the calcium into citrus which then cleans the water, and you only change the canisters once a year, so none of the fuss or mess with a traditional water softener). And it fit in the front hallway closest, see the picture, the main bathroom is just on the other side of the wall from the front hallway closet, 2 small holes punched through the walls and that was it. As you can see from the picture the citrine filter isn't all that big so the closet is still usable as a closet I'm going to build a wood cupboard around the citrine filter and put a padlock latch on it to keep the kids from messing with it. Now to get an idea of the difficulty of the problem, to the right of the front door is the living room and to the right of the living room is the garage. Everyone else was focused on putting a big filtration system in the garage, which meant running pipes over there and back and weren't even interested in taking that project, but Santino found the simple elegant solution that everyone else missed.

I feel like I was scammed. We called with a leak in our crawlspace. They provided an estimate, which I agreed to, because I had no idea of the scope of work necessary. It was a pinhole leak and about 6 inches of pipe were replaced. It ended up being less than two hours of work total (including going to the store to but the parts) from when he arrived, and about 6 inches of pipe replaced. We were charged $2700. When I asked to see an itemized invoice he was very vague and refused to present one saying "that's what the parts and labor cost." Assuming the piece of pipe cost a few bucks I guess they charge labor at ~$1300 an hour.

EDIT after their response: my partner is the one who scheduled the work. I just spoke with you on the phone and it was confirmed that we do have an account with you and had this work done. I'm currently waiting for a call back.

I had called Carlson's to ask about installing a pump so that we would have hot water in the back of the house without having to wait 5 minutes for the water to warm up. Carlson's had an appointment that same day. They didn't try to oversell me on anything. They were super friendly, professional and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them. I will definitely be calling them again in the future if I need any plumbing done.

Excellent customer service. Arliss was very personable, professional, knowledgeable and competent. He explained everything he did and showed us what the problem was . Then explained the maintenance program, which we signed up for on the spot. Overall, a great experience.

Had a leak under my bathroom sink that wouldn’t go away. They came out and fixed it, but it started leaking again a few hours later. I called, and they had no problem coming back. After the second attempt didn’t solve it, they sent someone out a third time who rebuilt the plumbing from scratch, and that fixed it for good.
Yes, it took three visits, but they stood behind their work and made sure the job was done right. That kind of commitment is hard to find, and I appreciate it. I’d recommend them.

BIG BIG shout out to Cimarron Martinez for the amazing work he did and for coming to my home late to evaluate the situation and figure it out and giving me the options on what we could do to fix it Clear and detailed kind and respectful gentlemen. This was the first time using B. Carlson and heating and would recommend them 100%.

The service continues to exceed my expectations. D’Angelo and the technician who was with him have top notch customer service skills, explained to me the work that needed to be done- AC check for the summer inspection. I am so glad I decided to become a member!

Shane and Trey were great! Had a boiler issue in a rental property, they were very friendly, transparent about what was needed. The landlord couldn't be reached initially to allow the necessary work so they were awesome and went and grabbed breakfast in town to allow another half an hour for the landlord to get in touch so we could get our boiler fixed that day!

Kyle Givens was dispatched to replace an old bathroom faucet set, kitchen faucet and leaking garbage disposal for us. Removal was a tough job. Kyle did not give up until it was done correctly. The service we received was excellent from start to finish. He explained what issues and options were ahead of time, and reviewed maintenance and troubleshooting when completed. This plumber is knowledgeable, kind, professional, and does high-quality work. We would absolutely recommend him without hesitation.

I needed to have a water PRV installed underground on my water main near the city meter. I hired Carlson to do the work based on the fact that they responded immediately to my call, stating that they could have someone come by that same day to give me a bid. Kyle & Lafayette arrived that same morning and gave me a fair bid to do the work, and they started that same day. The job was intense and required much backbreaking digging but they never complained. They came back the next day to complete the job and I am very happy with their work. I found Kyle and Lafayette to be honest, hard working, skilled and very courteous and respectful. All traits that are not readily found much anymore. I would highly recommend these gentlemen and BCarlson Plumbing

Drake was fantastic from start to finish. He handled two big projects for us: replacing our Navien water heater and installing a FlowTech water system, then coming back to install a new NuvoHome water softener. Across both jobs, everything was clean, confident, and dialed-in. He showed up on time, communicated clearly in plain language, answered every question, and made sure we understood how everything works (and how to maintain it) before he left.

The installs look sharp and professionally done—organized, tidy, and thoughtfully put together—and most importantly, everything has been running flawlessly. You can tell Drake takes real pride in doing it right, not just “getting it done.” If you want someone who’s skilled, efficient, respectful of your home, and genuinely trustworthy, Drake is your guy. I called to get an eval my heater is not coming on at all with 15 min of my call I got a text say a technician is ready to go out. I replied ready. With 45 min of that response a technician was at my front door. The thermostats on the wall was not set the way it should have been ( he fixed it) then he went to check the heating unit it’s self. He explained the normal operation step by step of my unit. It was not staying on. He identified the issue fixed it. Before he left we set it to a certain temp he made sure it’s coming on and staying on as it should be. Keeping temp. Extremely satisfied and now a customer for life. On the Maintence service program the offer. Wow you all have made my day! I’m so impressed and everyone will know how fast and efficient and economically reasonable B Carson is. I’m just amazed so customer friendly helpful….. solved it. In less than a few hours. I will sleep tonight and be so cozy and warm. Thank you all so so much. C Ford!!

Our heat went out a few days ago (January). My handyman recommended B. Carlson. They prioritized our urgent need for heat and were here within hours. They were able to restore heat within 2 days and put in a brand new system (heat and ac) immediately. All their staff were polite and personable and they left everything better and cleaner than they found it. I would hire them again, no question. They also sent me a heads up each time someone was en route with a picture so I would know who I was opening my door to.

Jeramiah was excellent! He was able to arrive same day and complete the work. Great service, very professional, courteous to us and our home, took the time to understand our issue, did thorough inspection, offered up multiple service options and explained tradeoffs but wasn’t pushy about upselling to us. Completed the work efficiently and explained everything he did. Initially wasn’t considering signing up for the Care Club membership but with his quality service and price/value combo ended up signing up! Highly recommend! Thank you Jeramiah!

My heater that was installed by B Carlson Heating 7 years ago decided to have problems, on a Saturday @1030 am, first time since having it installed. I called the company then two hours they sent Ben Dudley out to service the heater. Ben found the problem. The heater had some codes on the motherboard, the biggest problem was the heater was needing a good service, Ben service the heater got it running.
He’s a super employee to have very friendly and fast and he took care of the problem. His professionalism is great a good team player.

Mixed results. Tech reviewed our problem promptly, on a Saturday, with no extra charge for weekend visit. Work was scheduled promptly for Monday. Dispatch told me tech would arrive at noon, but tech arrived at 2pm due to needing to pick up replacement water heater and parts before driving to my house. Dispatch was unaware of tech needing to pick up materials, tech was unaware of dispatch arrival notice. Tech finished at 7:30pm, and was set to leave, but I still smelled gas and requested a double check that revealed a loose connection. Invoice did not reflect 10% discount even though I signed up for membership, it took three calls to get someone to sort out the mistake, refund will take a week. New water heater is great, no problems. Tech corrected 5 things that needed to be updated to current code, answered all my questions about water heater as well as other plumbing related questions and even provided caps to cover exposed exterior shut off valves. Company has some admin issues, but Kyle did good work.

D Angelo was so great today with my furnace not working. Unfortunately, it’s so outdated that it was deemed a total loss and he assisted in getting my insurance company all the information they needed so I could make a claim. I can’t wait for these guys to put in my new Furnace:) They always take care of my plumbing needs and Master Cooler needs 2x a year as well! Everyone has been so great with B Carlson for the 3 years I’ve been a customer of theirs!

Hi! Do not normally post reviews, but want folks to know that Adam W at Wolf's Heating and Cooling did a great job last week installing a new Convair swamp cooler. Cleaned
up, and carted away trash. Knowledgeable, friendly, professional and not pushy when selling. Happy so far and our house is cool!
