Their service was great. A complicated kitchen plumbing problem was expertly accomplished. Plumbers were prompt and the time estimate was accurate. Office staff also very helpful.

Great service, they recently fixed a plumbing disaster on our main sink. They were there next day, first thing, and finished before lunch. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Called up on Monday for a 9 am appointment on Wednesday. I waited until 9:30 on Wednesday and after no one showed up and called. The dispatcher was apologetic and said “I simply forget to add you to the roster.” Mistakes happen, ok. So we rescheduled for this Friday at noon. Nothing. At 12:30 I called and there was some confusion and someone had to call Manny, the head dispatcher. The guy I spoke to said “I’ll call you right back”. That never happened. No call. No service. Nothing. So if there were negative five stars for a rating, they would merit that.

They replaced our bathroom faucet which was trickier than it seemed. Did a great job.

Fantastic level of service. We had a drainage issue that several other plumbers had failed to properly fix before we called Franco Belli. I will definitely be calling only Franco Belli going forward.

Manny to the rescue!!! Manny has saved our plumbing and heating system again! A pipe broke in the basement with water leaking everywhere. He was able to squeeze us in and fix the problem in record time right before the holidays. His quick reaction saved us from further damage. We are so lucky to have him as our plumbing and heating expert. When the heating went out last winter, he also made time for us right away and worked diligently for hours to fix the problem and restore the heat, correcting previous shoddy work from a different contractor. This company saved my birthday weekend. My boiler decided kept going off during one of the coldest weeks recorded in New York. My uncle recommended Franco Belli and gave me their number. I called them on a Saturday and they sent a guy WITHIN 2 HOURS. The guy's name was Emil and he was very friendly and was able to fix the problem right away. He gave me a nice explanation on the problem (had to do with the thermo-sensor) and told me what I could do next time to fix it myself. Two plumbers arrived on time to work on our kitchen sink plumbing and replace the faucet. They were helpful, but the work took twice as long as they had estimated, then they tried to charge me for an additional hour. They also left the building’s washing machine waste line disconnected, so it would have flooded our basement if I hadn’t checked it after they left.

Hi! My name is Yaniv. I live in the Park Slope area. I hired Franco Belli to address an issue with my boiler. Manny, the plumber I worked with, was unfailingly polite and responsive. Still, I would strongly, strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

Over the course of one month, three separate visits, and $2,000 in charges, Manny attended to my heater. The boiler was exactly as dysfunctional after a month of his work as it was when he started. I decided, reluctantly, to get a second opinion. The other plumber (no advertisements here) diagnosed the problem in—no joke—ten seconds, had the boiler up and running again in less than half an hour, and he did it all at a quarter the cost of what I had already paid Franco Belli.

I expressed my frustration with Manny at having spent $2,000 to no avail. He became (suddenly, uncharacteristically) non-responsive.

Here's the upshot: I bet Franco Belli fixes most of the problems they encounter without a hiccup. You might have a great experience with them. But there are a lot of plumbers in the neighborhood, some of them truly excellent: I suggest you keep looking.

My wife and I hired this plumber and they spent a total of 3 hours at our house, did not fix what they said they would, and then tried to charge us over $2k for only 3 hours of work--we tried to fight them on that and they threatened and harassed us. horrible experience.

Chris and Yaya were really nice and professional. They showed me what they were doing so I could learn for myself. That being said, I was told it was $197/hour and thought it would only take an hour, but they were here for 2.5 hours to install five new radiator valves and a kitchen faucet. Pricey for your average person. They did a good job, though.

Great service. Had two servicemen at home for clogged drains in shower and kitchen, and assessing leak in refrigerator. Kitchen required new pipe which head plumber replaced on spot by custom cutting to fit space under sink. Found them skillful and professional. Also worked swiftly and got job done. All works well now. Would definitely recommend.

Can't say enough great things about this team. Called them on a Friday in December around noon saying my toilet was leaking; they had someone at my apartment within the hour. Told me the cost up front ($195/hour + materials + tax). The guy showed up (masked - I didn't have to ask) - had the job done in an hour (and it wasnt' as easy as it looked as the toilet was 30 years old and HEAVY) -- and left the room clean and repaired. Got the bill via e-mail and we're done. Again, so happy to have competent, responsive, and reasonable plumbers in the neighborhood!

Franco Belli's team was awesome. Yesterday our pipe was leaking very badly under the sink and I sent them a video via cellphone, then they came by today and fixed it for a great price, cheaper than many others. I really appreciate the speedy response and easy communication!! Thank you!

Chris and Yahya from Franco Belli plumbing did a fantastic job with the repairs. We had a major job of replacing all existing gas pipes in our house as well as finding and fixing an unrelated water leak. Manny had his team, Chris and Brian, come out to help us solve a very difficult leak. They were both very thorough and thoughtful in helping us find the problem and treated the problem as their own home. Manny was very helpful over the phone and quickly brainstormed ideas on where the problem could be and could quickly discern an issue by giving him a quick synopsis over the phone. Eric, their CFO, is responsive and polite at addressing billing questions. Very fair and credible company.

We had an issue where the radiator in our apartment wasn't working. Had several plumbers from different companies come take a look to see what was causing the issue but no one could figure it out. Then we called Manny, who was able to take a look and quickly identify and fix the issue. Will definitely be calling Manny again the next time we have any plumbing issues (though hopefully won't need to any time soon).
