Second experience with this company.
Extremely pushy to have them do the work - when OVER PRICED for cleaning !! Keeps claims within what insurance coming wants to only pay you !!! Which is why they work with most insurance companies because they’re not gonna tell them they want any more money to do a better job! The insurance company likes them because they do the job To the penny of the insurance adjuster.
They are pushy about getting the work done And getting the money right away as soon as you get your check from the insurance company. And if you don’t use their company . You get threatening phone calls about getting putting into collections for a mold inspection . The inspection I believe was done in October. I got a phone call on 23 October and the 30th Of October, asking for this money. The check was mailed out the week of Halloween. And I couldn’t cash the check because it was in my husband’s name who passed away, and I had to wait for an estate account. Regardless, it’s the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and I would not recommend them ever!

ServePro and everyone that works there is very helpful and friendly! My moms basement flooded recently and they had people in there the next day to dry everything out and remove the debris. They made the whole process easy and less stressful on my mom. Renee is also so helpful with our working business relationship with Brighton Pittsford Agency!

Dillon and Tyler arrived and did a great triage of the damage caused by the ice dam roof build up. They removed carpeting, walls, insulation and performed initial spraying of wet areas. Now heavy drying machines in place for next few days. Looking forward to Servpro return post damages for next steps. Obviously very appreciative of the efforts put forward by Servpro and the team.

I'll start off by saying worst winter we have had in this house. I think I had water coming thru the ceiling in 4 different rooms . I called Servpro and, Jason U. Michael and Mark showed up the next day, and cut everything that was wet out, and set up equipment to dry everything.
They were Professional, polite and cleaned everything they touched. Highly recommended!!

The other morning, I woke to water on the lowest level of my split-level home because the sump pump stopped working. On a Friday afternoon, Dillon, Tyler, Garret, and Michael arrived and did an excellent job relocating my belongings, removing the wet carpet, cleaning up the water, and setting up several high-powered fans and dehumidifiers to dry everything for a few days. The team worked efficiently, handled my belongings carefully, and offered outstanding customer service by answering all my questions. They were friendly and professional throughout. They will return on Monday to address the walls affected by the moisture. I am very satisfied with their service and, at this point, would definitely recommend this crew!

I recently had a great experience with Scanlan Electric. I called and spoke to Julie about an electrical issue. She was friendly, professional and scheduled a same day appointment for me. Devon responded on time and proceeded to tackle a challenging troubleshoot. He was professional and very patient. He kept me informed throughout the process of locating and fixing the wiring issue. I was completely satisfied and impressed with the excellent service, same day scheduling and reasonable price. I am happy to give Scanlan Electric my highest recommendation!

Scanlan Electric did a great job removing an old ceiling fan and installing a new chandelier in my home’s great room, which has an 18’ ceiling. I’d definitely use them again.

Amazing service and extremely professional. I was concerned our project was too small, but Scanlan responded to my email incredibly fast and we're able to take of it quickly.

We used Scanlan Electric for a couple projects. First was a simple chandelier installation in our 2-story foyer. The second was recess lighting in a few of our rooms along with new ceiling fixtures in our upstairs bedrooms. The team was fast, reliable, and did a great job. Scanlan Electric installed a EV level 2 car charger outlet for me and also replaced a damaged breaker. Job was done very professionally, in a timely manner and at a very fair price. Brian was very skillful and knowledgeable. Also they did not try to upsell me into buying the charging device from them (as others whom I got the quote from had done- had an old one from previous EV that worked fine). I highly recommend them.

Warning, long review! If you need an electrician look no further than this fine outfit. Owners Brian and Julie Scanlan were friendly and responsive. Pricing was more than fair. And we have to sing the praises of Spencer and Alex. Both technicians were in our home for almost two days of work and they were friendly, respectful of our house (cleanup was awesome), conscientious (Spencer was particularly mindful of some safety concerns), sweet with our dog, and worked diligently to get the job completed. Def two employees any small business should be elated to have on their team. Job well done! Thank you for making our home safer and more functional!

Julie & Co were fantastic help while fixing an electrical issue at our rental property. She was super responsive and very affordable. The job was fixed in a day.

A while back we needed a 220 line run for a new stove. The price we paid to have Brian install the line was much lower than our first estimate. Brian did the install quickly and completely with no issues.
Two days ago Spencer and Devon came to our house, by appointment, and replaced an old kitchen chandelier with 4" LED lights, adding a dimmer switch. Also replaced a 2' fluorescent tube ceiling light with a 4' LED flush mount light that I supplied, again with a dimmer switch. Replaced a bathroom ceiling light and exhaust fan (Panasonic) which Brian recommended and supplied. And they replaced a faulty outdoor GFI outlet. Replaced a standard "spotlight" (?) type bulb over the kitchen sink with an LED bulb.
These guys were great! Friendly, patient (I ask a lot questions) easy to converse with, and cleaned up everything when done.
Julie was also great! Scheduling, email and phone communication with her was pleasant and informative.
I would not hesitate to use Scanlan Electric in the future and highly recommend them.
