We had a rental house inhabited by hoarders. They left behind a house full of very nasty stuff (they had LOTS of animals too). The Rock Emergency team came in and hauled out about 90 cubic yards of all kinds of junk plus literally over a ton of scrap metal (junk appliances and lots of dog crates). In a matter of 2 days they cleared everything out so we can now begin the complete renovation. It was a nasty job and they did it at a fair price and in a timeline we needed. Highly recommend Paul and his team!

I can't comment on the cost because our insurance will be covering all but our deductible and I haven't seen a bill.

When I called and spoke with Ryan, I was expecting to hear what I had heard from other places... too busy. While he did say they were busy, he also said he'd work on getting someone to come as soon as he could. He called later the same day with a time for the crew to come out. What a relief!

The crew were friendly and professional. They set up the dehumidifier equipment, assessed the situation, and made a plan to manage our flooded finished basement. Darryl (?) gave us a general idea of what the next few days would look like so we could be prepared.

It was overwhelming to see the flooring, drywall, and even some of the insulation removed. Eric explained why they removed certain things and at the end of demo day walked us through and answered or explained any questions or concerns.

Another thing I liked was the fact that everyone had something on with the company logo, this just added to the positive experience. The guys all looked professional... even if they got dirty from the work.

Ryan stayed in touch during the process and answered my calls and texts fairly promptly. The weather interfered a little, but they communicated about any unexpected delays and got the work done, even sending a plow to make sure the driveway would be clear for the roll-off dumpster.

You can't plan for this type of emergency, you can't wait to deal with standing water, but you can choose which company you deal with. Rock Emergency Services is a Rochester company and I'd recommend them to anyone who has flooding in their house.

Beyond all of this, they were in Texas and Florida during the recent two hurricanes, Harvey and Irma. We're impressed that they would pack up their equipment and go such a distance to help folks in need.

Rock Emergency services was exceptional to work with. We had an emergency late at night with sewage in our basement and they made a very stressful situation far less stressful by walking us through what to do, showing up to get it all cleaned up and helping us handle insurance. Rock Emergency Services was awesome. I had a sump pump that over flowed, and of course my basement is finished, and carpeted. So needless to say I was in over my head. I called Rock, and I spoke to Ryan who was very friendly, and took the time to hear what I had to say. Ryan and his partner was at my location within the hour of my call (Fast response). They checked out my situation gave me a quote, I accepted, and they were back at my home the same day. The service was great, they personally check the status of my situation daily. I am very pleased with their service. Great company!

I had a bad mold problem in my basement from water damage. I was able to get in contact with the company that day and they were able to come out and assess the problem within that same day. Within a few days the team came in and cleared out everything exposed to the mold. They used dehumidifiers as well to make sure everything was dry. Paul was also great with communication and making sure things were always handled in a professional manor. I felt confident in their work, and safe with them in my home. They were also able to save some of the items, but made sure they were cleaned and sanitized. Please hire this company!!!

It is hard to describe the overwhelming feeling when your house has been flooded, and you just don't know what all needs to be done. The guys from Rock Emergency came highly recommended by my next-door neighbors so I hired them to dry mine and am very glad I did! The peace of mind knowing that everything was pulled out, dried, disinfected, and moisture-free certified is worth the cost. Leveraging Rock Emergency was the best decision we made.
We returned from vacation to a burst pipe in our basement which equated to a moldy water-logged mess. Needless to say, our relaxing vacation turned to overwhelm and stress very quickly.
We enlisted the services of Rock Emergency, and were blown away by their compassion, professionalism, knowledge and work ethic. They worked quickly to remove the largest amounts of water from the basement safely, hooked up multiple pieces of equipment to clean the air, dry out the walls, and help minimize the growth of additional mold. They also worked directly with the insurance company to ensure the water mitigation portion of the claim would be handled between the insurance company and Rock Emergency. One less task for me, the homeowner, to handle was incredibly appreciated. They ordered a mold protocol through a third party vendor (policy) which then allowed us to understand the extent of damage to our home and how to proceed.
Once the results were available from testing along with corrective actions, they got to work. Dumpsters were ordered, filled, emptied and replaced. I thought they worked hard initially....they left me speechless when it was time to react to the corrective actions. These gentlemen DID NOT STOP working. We were amazed at how they documented items that couldn't be salvaged; cleaned and repackaged items they could save, and packed a storage pod in our driveway; which they also ordered for delivery as well.
At the end of every day, they connected with my husband or myself to provide an update of what was accomplished, what the plan for the following day would be along with an estimated start time.
During one of the eight days the crew worked at our home, they were needed at another emergency. The project manager communicated new expectations and the reason for the last minute change in plans. From my perspective, I appreciate their judgment on stabilizing another critical emergency, because, during that time, our house was in really great shape. Understanding how we felt upon finding our basement's disrepair and how quickly Rock responded to us, I'm so thankful to see they treat all their clients that way. That level of service and response sets them apart.
Once all the demolition of moldy material was complete; which in our case was gutting the entire basement, they cleaned and treated all the walls and floors. The machines remained in our home for an additional 24 hours per the mold protocol and they came on the last day to retrieve them.
An insurance adjuster from my homeowner's insurance company had to be on-site to estimate the cost of the repairs. Rock Emergency was not only on-site, but also ensured the project manager was there to assist with any questions the adjuster might have had. They had progress pictures and remaining plans for completion ready on-hand if questions arose from the insurance company.
Throughout our entire time working with Rock Emergency, I cannot stress how thankful we were to have chose them. Being in a situation where we didn't even know where to start, or what to expect, Rock helped provide insight and reassurance along the way. They provided peace of mind in uncharted territory for us. My condo got damaged by neighbors fire. Dave and his crew helped me from start to finish. When I mean start, Rock Emergency got here a few minutes after the fire department. They put all my belongings in a pod, had all my clothing sent to the dry cleaners. They sealed my floors and laid new beautiful floor planks. Dave got me an EXCELLENT deal on my floors! They monitored all water in walls, floors, etc. The same night of the fire, I had an ozone machine and fans in my unit. My family recently suffered some health issues and a frozen pipe burst in our family home. The house was in terrible condition and disrepair. This was an emotional and challenging time for us. If I could give 10 stars, I would!! We had a pipe burst over this past weekend between the kitchen cabinet wall and the exterior wall. Water was pouring out of our siding. Dave answered our after hours call and had someone over immediately setting up air movers and dehumidifiers. This morning Dave came to assess the damage and give us our options. He spent well over an hour with me, showing me what went wrong and where and what our best options are. Fortunately our damage is minimal and we can fix the issue on our own. Dave was a wealth of knowledge and patience and he could have easily sold me on a big project that was not needed. We had a house fire and Dave from Rock Emergency was there to help with clean up right away. He has been incredible with communication and helping with insurance. His team of workers are very professional, polite, and excellent at their jobs. They started work hours after the fire was out. The day after the fire Nick, Tamarcus, Jackson, Andre, & Christian were there cleaning the walls and ceilings. They were very respectful of our personal items including family pictures. At the same time Josh & Brad were working on the outside and attic. Removing smoke and water damaged insulation. They also secured a tarp over the holes in the roof and wall. Now that reconstruction has begun, Nick, Andre, & Christian have started the task of the interior demo. They have done a great job of protecting our items before tearing down walls and ripping out carpets. The complete Rock Emergency team has been wonderful in the difficult time.
