LeafFilter was wonderful! We have been building a new home and they came for an estimate on Monday and were back on Wednesday to complete the install. We were very happy with the price. They did leave a little trash behind, but it would have been hard to spot and clean up as it started snowing when they arrived. Would recommend to anyone!

The companies installation practice is way below sub par. What they show you in their sales brochure is not what you get. The photos I have attached show their end product after two visits after initial installation. They do not do quality work. Also they did not bring to my attention that i had any rotting fascia boards, but they didn't have a problem attaching their product to it. They should have never have installed their product. I have asked several times to have it removed and money refunded. The person i dealt with was arrogant and not willing to do so. I have now filed with the Better Business Bureau. This all happened in the month of March 2021.

I was harassed at the Garlic festival by an employee or representative. Gentleman politely handed me a coupon and I politely expressed i wasnt interested x5 times. Trying to be polite (as my family proceeded to walk away) I engaged in a 3 min conversation again trying to be polite. I again expressed i did not need services at this time. The gentleman told me i could use the coupon at any time in the future but inorder for it to be valid i needed to give him my contact info. Im not stupid I know why and I honestly thought it was helping the gentleman so he could be paid. I strictly asked for my info to not be sold and no harassing phone calls. He promised me they did not do that and when I was ready I could call. Figured I helped the guy out and maybe he made 20$ what would happen the next day would piss anyone off. At 8:40 on a sunday morning (the next day) I get a call to set up an appointment. (From a live agent) I would not use this company if my life depended on it. Lesson learned and you have ruined it for me, I will never give a sales man the time of day again because yours ruined it for me. Lieing is not the avenue to success

Friendly and informative sales person, Dave, answered my questions and was very easy to work with. The installers were fabulous. Easy appointment and timely arrival

I called them once to ask about their product. That was over 3 months ago. I decided to do it myself. But the Phone calls do not stop. They try to call me everyday under a different phone number and sometimes phone numbers from other countries. Obviously they have a lot of money to do this kind of pushy salesmanship and it's from buying their awful products. Too expensive and too pushy

Prompt installation after purchasing leaf filter system. Sales representative was concise and the installation took 3 hours and was done properly within 3 days of buying product.

#1, if you schedule an estimate, they tell you how prompt they will be. I scheduled the estimate a little way out, they text and emailed me almost daily to remind me, which, o.k., but I scheduled it, so was well aware of it. When I didn't respond to the 25 texts/emails the canceled with no notification to me. 2nd time, guy said he was running late no more then 1/2 hour, hour at the most. I text him back after well over an hour to say never mind. Busy now. He wanted to come anyway so I reluctantly said o.k. almost 2 hours after that, we signed a deal. Contractor was supposed to come yesterday, they didn't. Showed up today and said the only way they could do it w/o drilling into my recently replaced roof, or replace my existing gutters with 6 inch. What a waste of days!!!

Shower up on time. Great work, found some areas that needed attention and arranged for service. Communication was excellent.

Horrible company.. had a rep come to my house for estimate things started great as soon as I told him I wouldn’t make the sale today and would talk to my parents who are co-signers on my home (I am the owner and make the final say) to talk about price . He got very upset packed his stuff and left my house without even a goodbye.. upsetting my small dog and 6 month old baby. I called to complain about the issue and an hour later got a call from the same rep telling me my dog scared him and was aggressive so he had to leave because he was scared. Yet he told me I could put my dog down that he loved dogs.My dog is 11 lbs small and only barked cause he was a stranger she was behind a gate or in my arms calm the whole 10 minutes he was indoors he lied to make himself look good on recording and I was not happy! I have cameras in my house and my dog was never near him… My dog is not aggressive other than her barking like a normal dog she doesn’t even growl… will not hire!!

Clear communication that NO ONE touches the gutter guards except their subcontractors. One team came to remove & a different team came to reinstall. Coordinator from Leaf Filter, Tom, was extremely hard to get in touch with & when he replied he just started when a team could be there to do work instead of asking if that worked for us. When he gave a time for reinstall & the team wasn't there at the stated time, he said it was a 2-hour window of *arrival* time, but that wasn't what was originally communicated. When the team didn't cover the full end of a gutter with flashing at a valley from the roof (as it had been before guards were removed), he argued with me that it wasn't that way before, despite the evidence of caulk showing a piece had been there. When I suggested they wouldn't receive the payment until it was done as it had been, Tom said he'd just have the team pack up and go home. They did, in the end, put a piece there, but I had to listen to the installer grumble about how many guards the other team damaged upon removal & that he had to replace with new ones. I said I had been told that would be part of the process. It was a stressful situation & very expensive. To avoid voiding the warranty, I had to pay the company $804 ($3/ft) to remove & reinstall.
Work is done, but aggravation & cost were not worth anything higher than 3 stars.

The sale staff will start at a ridiculous price. They started at $15,000 for guards and gutter for my house. Then when I continually said no they said they could do it for $5,000. They don't show up when they say they will. They use subcontractors. The guys that showed up to my house were stoned out of the minds. One fell off my roof and broke a brand new gate. When I asked if I should call 911 they said no because they obviously were high. I asked them to fix the gate which they never did. They also do not get soliciting permits. If they come to your neighborhood call the police and report them.

Absolute scam. First time homeowner here. Bought a house with horrible gutters. Kelphri, the sales consultant, came by and told me that they could do a complete tear down and new install with the mesh filter and lifetime warranty for 13000. My credit did not pass for that much, so they settled for 7500. He also told me that i had to agree to this deal right then and there; if he left, i would not get the deal anymore. I admit to being ignorant and naive by not following the golden rule of getting a second opinion (i have since learned from this with other contractors that i have had to hire), but panicked because i was under the impression it was a good deal. I agreed to the cost of 7500 with a lifetime warranty. They had the guys come out very shortly after, i cannot remember the exact amount of days after, but it was within the week or 2. The guys who came were nice, respectful, and quick. I was impressed that they were able to schedule an installation so quickly, and were able to install so fast. Winter came, and i noticed there were icicles forming off one of the gutters; the rest were fine. This is where things start to get dismal. I called leaf filter and told me they would reach out to schedule a time for someone to come out. The next day i received a call from a guy from leaf filter who was on my property. I was at work. In general, i do not wish to have any contractor on my property without my presence. However because the guy just showed up, i was unable to leave work. Therefore unable to show him the problems and had to describe them instead. He said the gutter is fine, that they might be able to put a shield up, but there will be a cost for the work. It had been a bit since the install and when i was calling, and i had learned that often gutter companies do the gutter work and fascia work at the same time due to the nature of the components. I asked him why the fascia wasnt fixed when they installed the gutter, and he informed me that this was a whole different situation for leaf filter. He said that i would have needed to get a quote for fascia work and that would be a separate quote than the gutter installation quote. He also told me that there may be a cost for taking the gutters down and reinstalling. I told him i have the lifetime warranty and was told that if i had issues they would be covered. He said that these type of issue wouldnt be covered in the warranty and that if i had another company come fix the icicle or fascia issues, it would void my lifetime warranty. I felt trapped. But settled for buying salt and salting the entry way well since the icicles were forming on the gutters above the entry way. This winter, the icicles are worse. I called again only to be informed that after the first year following installation, there is a $99 service fee for any and all work...even if the work covered under the warranty. The representative on the phone also informed me that she was sorry if the sales representative did not discuss this with me, but it could be found under section D. Do not go with this company. My neighbor hired Five Star Improvements. Although it took them about 2 months to come by, they charged her $11000 to completely replace the wood, fascia, and gutters with the mesh filter. They are also repairing part of her roof. I do not know her warranty, i can update when i find out. I still do not know if this is a good deal, but i do know it is a better deal than what leaf filter is doing. After this experience, i do not recommend leaf filter.

Fast and efficiently installed. From the initial contact, and estimate to the completed install ….. it took less than 4 days. The crew had my new gutters up in 4 hours. Everything was cleaned up. Great job everyone.

A woman knocked on my door yesterday soliciting for this company. We do need gutter work so I said I’d take the free consultation. I looked at the reviews after she left and decided I would 100% not be involved with this company, so I did NOT confirm the appointment. A man showed up at my house half an hour after the appointment time (again, I did NOT confirm) and puttered about my yard, calling repeatedly and knocking on the door. (I watched this on my ring camera after) He walked around on my yard and porch for 20 minutes before leaving. Anyway, these guys appear to be pushy scam artists. I also read that they don’t have solicitation permits.

We’ve tried just about everything over the years to fix our gutter problems, and nothing truly worked. After all that trial and error, LeafFilter Gutter Protection is the only solution that’s actually been maintenance-free. We did end up paying a little more than we originally expected, but it has been absolutely worth it. No more clogs, no more worrying, just wish we had done it sooner.

I just had my gutters installed and the company that did them installed the gutters cheaply. Leaf filter not only fix the other ones mistakes but made them stronger. A bad storm last night and they did everything that I heard they were. My price was lower than my neighbors so I would definitely look for coupons and deals.

At first I was happy with their job. But a couple of years after installation I have stains running down each gutter at the point where they screw the screen in. I have called the company many times to resolve this but they have told me they do not cover staining. I wish I knew this before signing up with them. Other companies use a different connecting system which does not cause the drip staining. For all the money I spent on this system I am very disappointed with the results and with the response from the company which was "sorry not our problem"

The installation company were prompt, efficient and courteous. Although I feel the Leafguard price was high I am satisfied with the product itself. I am completely satisfied with Joe and Austin who did a great job with the installation even in snowy & cold inclement weather!

Spencer (salesman) and John (installer) both did great jobs in explaining how Leaf Guard works, arranging a convenient installation date around our hectic schedule, and installing the product on all our gutters.
