I asked for a quote and Daniel came out the same day. Within 5 days the job was done.

In my initial searches of gutter protection I found LeafFilter. After comparing them against other systems it seemed the best option. When I set up an appointment to have a rep. visit and go through the system he arrived and introduced himself, Orlando Valle. As I said he was a salesman, and he was very adamant that their product was not only the best but that it is truly impossible to clog the system and is virtually indestructible. One of his selling points was that LeafFilter is 100% American owned and operated and never uses outside contractors at any time to complete a job. That means no sub-contractors. I even went as far to clarify that the company does NOT use any subs, and Orlando was very clear that there will never be a sub-contactor installing their filters or working on the job at any time. That sounded too good to be true, and turned out that it was. He also touted that LeafFilter has never had to pay out on its warranty. As this appears to be true when searching through the reviews, there were a great many complaints of the filter itself clogging. After our instillation was complete we got a copy of the full warranty and it does cover clogs, but only within the gutters, not if the filter mesh becomes clogged and not if any natural damage occurs. Orlando's sales pitch lasted 1 hour 30 min, at the end of which he pressured my wife and I to make a decision that day and kept cutting prices until we were below $5,000, when he started above $9,000. In hindsight we should have pushed him lower. We did finally sign the contract with LeafFilter and were told the installer would be there the next day between 9-11.
As it turned out the installer arrived at 0830 and was indeed a sub-contractor. Luckily for Orlando the sub and his assistant were very polite guys and did as we were promised, except the assistant thought it was a good idea to relieve himself behind one of our sheds as soon as they arrived. I checked up on them throughout the job and the concerns I had were taken care of by the time they were finished. They had cleaned up after themselves well and our gutters did appear in much better shape.
All in all. I gave three stars and they all belong to the subs that installed our filters. The two missing stars are because the sales rep, Orlando Valle, was very pushy, his sales pitch was about 1 hour and 15 min longer than it should ever have been, and that we caught him in multiple lies.
Our filter has only been installed for 2 days and we have yet to see how well it works when there is heavy rain. We will be updating our review as our story unfolds.

Brandon T, a Residential Sales Manager, came to give me an estimate for replacing my gutters. He was on time, friendly, and very professional. I was surprised and impressed by his honesty. Before he went out to assess the gutter situation, he told me that he'd let me know whether I needed new gutters or if the current gutters could be repaired. I didn't even realize that was an option. I told him that I didn't think I was interested in LeafFilter gutter covers, and he didn't try to change my mind. Then he went out to look at the gutters and came back with more honesty and even pictures of some structural issues with the roof. Brandon said he was very concerned about the damage he found and said I should have a roofing company assess and repair the damage before I did anything about the gutters. I'm so grateful for his honesty, and for his referral to a trusted roofing specialist who will be replacing my roof very soon. Thank you, Brandon!

Hard to understand how totally different leaf filter is from all other solutiions. We have had them for over two years. ALL previous problems are GONE. We have not spent one minute or one penny on gutter problems since they were installed. Expensive but worth every penny. Cheaper solutions are a waste of money because they don't eliminate problems, ever if the make things a little better.

Someone came knocking at the door wanting to set up an appointment for a free estimate (we were not looking for any new gutters or filter). One was set up and the sales rep. came, did a nice job explaining etc. HOWEVER, a price was given but felt pressured into signing that day (full price), price kept dropping and DID NOT want to put those dropped prices in writing and asked for a check, cash or payment option (with extremely high rates). Seemed like they wanted a full payment that day to keep that low price and then an appointment for install would be set up. Did not want to leave a written quote at all, I had to take a picture on my phone of what was written, said it has to be handed into the boss. Didn't even have a business card, tore off a piece of paper with his name and phone number. Sounded like a scam to me. What legitimate company wants full payment up front, wouldn't leave a copy of the quote and kept dropping the price and no business card.

We had seamless gutters installed along the front of our house. Initial response after requesting a quote was within 2 hours. An estimator was at our house that week and was very knowledgeable, professional, and not pushy. The install was very quick and looks amazing!

Quick, efficient, and I got what I hoped for at a fair price. It even rained hard about a half hour after the job was done. How did they schedule that test? Well, they passed!

We had a Leaf Guard gutter system installed & couldn't be more pleased.

They were very knowledgeable about the product and installation. Never to busy to answer any questions as they went along. EXCELLENT!!

Beware of the outdated and pushy sales tactics used when trying to get a quote for their services. Called and made an appointment to have someone come out to the house. Sales Rep shows up shows up at 5pm, I walk him around the house showing areas I wanted a quote for and asked for a quote for full house and partial. I also was very specific with the Rep as I was walking around the house that I will not be making any decision today. Sales rep says he will do measurements and then wanted 10 minutes of my time to go over the quote. Turns out he goes through a full presentation with samples and a binder taking over 30 minutes to explain before getting to pricing. I find it odd in todays world where customers have all the information at their finger tips because of this thing called the Internet and Leaf Filter has a full website with all the sales info I could need which allows me to understand the value of the products (which is why I called Leaf Filter) but yet the Sales Rep has to waste 30 minutes of your time flipping through a laminated binder reselling on what you already know - what a waste of time (and waste of resources for a company who could just give quotes online - maybe if they cut some of their pushy sales people they can reduce the rates of their services). So after this redundant pitch the Sales Rep tells pricing and then tries multiple times to close to try and get you to sign up now. Once I told the Rep again that I don’t want to pursue anything right now and I would call if interested, he doesn’t let you retain the pricing sheet, he takes it from my hands as well as the drawing he makes of the house for the work to be done, says he has to turn that into his Manager when he doesn’t make a sale right away. He writes the main pricing down on a folder only. We end the conversation. About 10 minutes later, he tries knocking on my door AGAIN (which I didn’t hear) then calls my phone, then knocks on the door louder. I go to the door and he starts right off trying to pitch me again giving me some story that he spoke with his Manager and he was able to secure an even LOWER price than what he just quoted me 10 minutes ago, and again tried to get me to sign up now. This time I cut him off and told him I was not interested and closed the door. I cannot express how ineffective this sales tactic is. It shows a complete lack of respect for the prospect and I think it is so distasteful to give one price and then come back 10 minutes later and try and slash your price in HALF to get you to sign now. I want to work with Sales people who don’t waste your time and are straight forward with setting proper expectations with their prospect. Had I known an estimate would turn into an HOUR and 20 minutes of my time wasted in an evening I wouldn’t have scheduled it. Despite the product likely being great, this Sales experience leaves me not likely to ever place an order through them. Sad and disappointing.

Overall the customer service is absolutely fabulous. From the call to the desk to have the warranty transferred and scheduling a service call to the wonderful friendly, informative and thorough service technician who inspected the gutters for repair and then repaired a week later. I couldn’t ask for better treatment from a company, besides the generosity that they provided for the service. It’s sad to say that you don’t see this very often anymore. I truly appreciate how well I was treated and how quickly everything was expedited. Amazing!!!

I expected a team of people to come out to the house because I thought it would be a tough job with a three story roof. Instead only one man showed up and his name was John. John worked the entire day, no breaks, no lunch, no complaints, no creepy behavior. I was worried about him around lunch time so I went out to check on him and offer refreshments. He declined and simply stated, "This is what I do, I'm fine." At the end of the day he politely explained all that we needed to know and was surprisingly grateful when we insisted on sweeping our own porch. Keep in mind this was a Saturday and Easter was the next day. I will recommend this company and product to everyone because of this experience. Great job!

The staff were great, answered all my questions. Booking a day was simple. There were a few "surprises that had to be taken care of , on a separate day and they were super considerate of the time frame. A crew came out on the second day and the work was completed, cleaned up and efficiently.

Terrible terrible terrible!!!! A week after install and the gutters are leaking and damaged. They are hounding me to sign the " all work complete to satisfaction" so they can get the funds. They keep saying it's done but it looks a wreck. Threatened to file a lien 2x now because I'm not satisfied with the leaking gutters with holes. They where not supposed to use the underground drains as they are plugged yet they did use them, and say it's my fault despite me telling the sales guy and installer not to use them and it's on the to not to use them. This has been horrible. They are high pressure high sale and unable to deliver even a reasonable result hopefully I can post photos here.

I feel like we were lied to. We purchased these gutters because of the warranty. Three different people we talked to told us the same thing when we had a warranty claim. They obviously were not trained correctly because the warranty only covers the gutters if they get clogged. We had damage to our gutters because of snow and they sent someone out who charged us 95 bucks just to look at them and tell us that the warranty does not cover them. We are very disenchanted with this company and I recommend that you look elsewhere to purchase your gutters

The best product for the best price by the best installers! With discounts for seniors and military. You can’t even tell it’s there until it rains… then the only run off is in the downspouts! It’s great! And no more cleaning out gutters - EVER!
