Brian Gilman installed my new water heater back in 2022. Fast, reliable, professional. I will DEFINITELY use Gilman Plumbing again next time I need a plumber.

Brian came out and replaced a faucet the morning after I called. He was here about an hour, and it was very reasonably priced compared to other quotes I’d had. He clearly knows what he’s doing: he offered to install a trap on my garbage disposal after noticing it didn’t have one, but after thoroughly checking and finding one installed in the basement underneath he told me I was all good. He was very flexible when I decided not to replace the faucet first time around, and was always very professional, courteous, and willing to answer any questions I had.

After getting a couple estimates to snake an upstairs kitchen drain (one company estimate was almost 400 dollars and the person was afraid that some of the piping might be old and not all PVC and was hesitant to do it) , I found Brian's company and was so happy that I did. He gave me a price to snake, made an appointment for the next day. Brian called to say he was on his way. Not only was he on time, but was also a little earlier. When Brian and Sam arrived, they both had masks on. They checked the one area for very small bathroom shower leak (only needs to be calked), checked the upstairs sink, went to basement to check the lines location and said all PVC line. Then he went to work unclogging. He explained why it happened (something to do with pitch of line and old house), and how to prevent from happening again. They also checked to make sure no leaking from upstairs sink (due to it originally being clogged, water seeped into the downstairs living room). I was very impressed with his professionalism, arrival time, explanation and pricing. I highly recommend Gilman Plumbing for any plumbing needs. If the need ever arises, Brian will be the first one I call.

Plumber was courteous, professional, informative, and very helpful. Corrected the problem with the water regulator and everything looks great.

Brian came out to replace our water heater. He was patient and professional even with quite a few obstacles that came up in the process. His pricing is fair and he was very respectful of our budget. He communicated important information each step of the way so when things were completed I had no surprises with the bill or the list of recommendations for future projects. Our kitchen sink backed up and eventually our disposal and dishwasher leaked. The guy I’ve used before didn’t respond to two messages, so I googled and found Gilman. At first he thought I’d have to wait a day, but he was able to fit me in that day. He was teaching another plumber and I really appreciated his teaching style. Unfortunately, the snaking didn’t work at first, but they were able to do it again with success. Overall, it was a great experience. Very professional and quick. I would definitely use them again.

I used Gilman Plumbing to diagnose a loud rattling in my water pipes. They arrived at my house on time for the estimate and quickly identified the issue. They got the part that day and replaced my water pressure release valve within an hour. They were able to answer all of my questions and keep me informed on pricing of their parts and services. Highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again!

I found Gilman Plumbing through a review left on a different company saying to call Gilman instead. I’m thankful I did. I called after hours ready to leave a voicemail but actually got a person. A few days after calling, Brian and an associate came out to my house on the day I requested & quickly diagnosed the issue and pointed me in the right direction to fixing it. They were on time, professional and friendly. If any future issue occur, I’d call them again.

We have an old house that had a broken trap, making the sewer back up into the basement. It was pretty gross and we couldn’t use the sinks, shower or toilets at all without it coming right back into the house. Gilman plumbing responded quickly and dug up the broken pipe from under our concrete basement floor, placed new pipe, snaked to the street and replaced the concrete floor all in one day. They were honest, did great work and the price was fair. Thanks guys!

Called Gilman Plumbing after getting an astronomically high quote from APopular plumbing company. Dan showed up within the hour to take a look at my drain behind the bathtub. Dan gave me a very reasonable price and came back the next morning to replace the drain behind my tub.
