One of the best experiences I ever had given the circumstances. I’ve been on paternity leave wrestling with a toddler and a new born and at 11pm I discovered my water heater was failing and the basement got pretty wet. After cleaning the basement I went to bed stressed thinking about this new project. I groggily wake up the next morning and call these folks at 7:30am. By 9:30am someone was here totally replacing my water heater. Fair price, great customer service and timeliness. Chris was excellent. Thank you for making this the easiest home repair of my life!

We had a dishwasher drain that failed and caused a mess unexpectedly. The water remediation guys came immediately and took care of drying everything out. Shawn handled updating all our kitchen drains in the meantime time so this wouldn't reoccur. He was efficient, friendly, and came immediately to correct the problem when we noticed one of the joints that attached to the old cast iron pipe was leaking. Although plumbing issues are always a headache, we appreciate the positive experience they made it for us. We will continue to use Roto for any future issues.

Shawn went above and beyond ensured my water heater is installed correctly, and took care of other plumbing work to insure proper drainage. Great customer service and conversation. Thank you again.

We had a problem with our sewer backing up, We had Andy come out and asset the water damage and the technician Zach came out and diagnosed the problem, both were very helpful and definitely knew what they were talking about, 5 stars to both of them and definitely will be using roto-rotor for any future concerns!

We contacted this company for an emergency flooding situation and were told someone would be dispatched. After hours of waiting and follow-ups, no one showed up. We ultimately had to seek help elsewhere, which resulted in additional damage. Unfortunately, not dependable.

Shawn T was my service Tech and he did a fantastic job. Shawn was polite and very knowledgeable concerning my plumbing issues.

My older mom called for an appointment and was never told there was a $200 fee to come look at the problem. The worker installed a shower head which cost $80 on top of the $200 fee! She signed a numberless receipt and saw the charge later. She repeatedly asked how much it would be and the worker said he didn't know - it was the office's decision. She called to complain and they didn't help or refund or explain. Not cool!

Although the clog in my kitchen sink took a long time to fix, the plumber was great. He was courteous, thorough, and clean. He got the job done!

After my wife and I had a water damage emergency, Roto Rooter had someone assess the damage and setup dehumidifiers in hours. Thanks to Andrew for helping us take action in an emergency, and to Bradley and Vadym for thoroughly taking care of our home.

Second time getting service from Roto Rooter with their guy Shawn Tantillo. Although the tank came in a lil late and he had a little emergency with his boss during our time for him to work on our water heater, we are still grateful that he did not leave us without hot water on that Monday we are scheduled to get tankless water heater. Our water heater leaked 3am on the day of the Thanksgiving and it was awful not to have water at all from Thurday til Monday night. He was so patient and made sure we will have hot water that Monday did everything he can that day. He ledt the house around 9am, he could say ill just comeback tomorrow to finish the job as its late, but no he stayed and made sure we get the service we deserve! Thanks Shawn!

Nik and Dom were exceptional! The issue was handled with haste and accuracy to detail. They left the house cleaner than they found it, and not only addressed our core pump issue, but we're also kind enough to give us some money saving guidance for prevention and care. Thank you for taking care of my family and home guys! Before and after shows how clean they were in my house!

Sean was polite and careful to keep my property clean. He problem solved until the drain was clear. Pricing is unclear with this company but I don't blame Sean for that.

I had a plugged sewer lateral likely due to rags. Shawn T was excellent! Very professional, personable, methodical and capable. He quickly and accurately analyzed the situation and worked diligently to relieve the blockage in the lateral. He used a large electric snake that required removal of the toilet. After relieving the blockage, Shawn reinstalled the toilet with a new wax seal. I highly recommend Shawn!

We do not recommend the Rochester Roto-Rooter office unless you like poor customer service and being price gouged!

The day we had a leak and called for service, I had just undergone surgery and was dealing with a life-threatening health issue. After the service, we did not initially receive any paperwork or clear billing information. After calling to request they email the invoice on December 19, my husband and I began receiving multiple emails and phone messages that were harassing and threatening from Amanda less than 30 days from the date of service!

In the two times I spoke with Amanda in billing on the phone, she was very rude and unprofessional.

Prior to this, we had planned to use Roto-Rooter again to TV the line based on a technician’s recommendation. Because of the poor customer service and lack of professionalism, we decided to take our business elsewhere. An email was sent to the owner with the complaint however his lack of response says more than enough. He doesn’t give a damn.

Chris Mendick managed my drain/sewage replacement lines. I was frantic the next morning to see water in my basement. He responded fast to investigate the concern. Turned out that it was our own fault (left outside faucet drip). Genuine, kind and professional person.

Andrew, Zach, Dominic, and the rest of the plumbing and water mitigation team sent to our home were amazing and very easy to work with. They outlined their plan of action and followed through with it in an efficient manner. All the questions I had were answered quickly, and they even helped me navigate how to begin my insurance claim. Their expertise and exceptional customer service made it clear that I had made the right decision to use Roto-Rooter.

Chris and Walter were fantastic to work with! They came the afternoon we called. They snaked what they could inside and set up the outdoor work appointment. They were professionals and left the basement spotless. They answered all our questions about the outdoor work. The outdoor guys came after the permits were obtained. They were meticulous. They worked in bitter cold while it was snowing pretty hard. They only dug up what was necessary and worked closely with the county workers to get the job done in one day.

My hats off to the guys from Roto-Rooter! Mike, Matt, Dom. They did an Amazing job on our Septic to Sewer conversion project today.
