Kevin and Harris, the two plumbers that came to my call, were wonderful. They called 15 minutes before their arrival and we're on time and pleasant. They first explained everything that they were going to do and how the billing worked. They did the job quickly and efficiently. They then explained to me everything that they found, answered all my questions and left the place as clean as they found it.

The technician was very pleasant and explained every detail. He did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend him.

UPDATE: This company has TOP KNOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE!! After learning that our issue had not been resolved during the first visit and we were left frustrated, they contacted us immediately. Brandon listened to everything we had been experiencing and was able to tell me within the first few minutes our vent was vapor locked. He set out to find out where, why and resolved it with much diligence. This old building definitely made it challenging for him, as he was here for a little over 3 hours to ensure it was resolved. He made sure to touch base frequently on were he was in the process, what he had found, and what our options were. Thank you Mr. Rooter & Brandon for stepping up and making things right. While our first visit was not a terrible experience, we appreciate you sending Brandon out today. He went above and beyond today. We are now functional with a defined action item.

While they were the only company available to assess a commercial property same day, and the person seemed knowledgeable and very polite, I was slightly frustrated that he did not take my concern for what was wrong into consideration until after he has done specific troubleshooting. He did confirm our septic was not clogged, but left without confirming what was actually wrong, just a guestimation. I am still dealing with issue two days later.

I called Mr. Rooter plumbing due to a sewer back up. The problem seemed resolved, but then about six weeks later, it returned. The crew at Mr. Rooter, came back several times without charge to diagnose the problem, help me work with my town to determine that the problem was on the town end, and ultimately was able to help me resolve everything with no additional cost. The staff were reputable and dedicated to solving the problem and the entire team was very accommodating, providing video footage, etc., for the town to help diagnose the problem. I have no qualms recommending Mr. Rooter Plumbing.

Heavy rain caused water to back up in my basement which has a floating slab floor. Called at 8pm and had an appt by 8:30pm. Austin came at 9am the next day. The water had slowly drained away overnight. He investigated and then cleaned drain going into street storm sewer. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all my questions. Great timely service. Extremely pleased.

I had three clogged down spouts on my property,Rooter Plumbing were out in a day or so, gave me a very thorough estimate. Explained everything to me, came back a few days later and spent a couple hours unclogging all of the drains. Very happy with their service. I would definitely recommend them.

Positives and probably worth 5 stars, I had a plumbing emergency (finished basement flooding due to blocked sewer pipe) and they moved appointments around so they could take care of it immediately. The plumber took significant time explaining to me the issue and how I can help prevent it in the future.
Negatives: I got spammed with 10+ emails asking for a review post getting the work done. They were definitely on the more expensive sides.

Scheduled my septic tank cleaning. Rep was professional, on time and did a great job. Will use again in the future.

We needed a leaky gas pipe replaced in our basement ASAP. An hour after my call, the repairman was on the way over! Very happy to get issue fixed so quickly.

Love their service! The technician was very professional and helpful with my questions and concerns. Worked his butt off for over 2 hours to clean out the tank. Will absolutely use them again.

Curious as to why a company not once, not twice but 6 times asked me to right a review. ? There are many reason why someone would elect not to write a review, one being your service was bad. Having said this, I agreed to pay an emergency fee of $200.00. for calling after normal business hours when my basement got flooded during a recent storm. I was not prepared for your tech to arrive and state" nothing I can do to help, I have been going from house to house stating the same" Let me charge you your $200 service fee now" it took longer for me to pay then it did for the lack of service that was performed. Sorry again, I thought you people took advantage to collect some extra dollars, hope it was worth it, as I for one will never call your service again.

Brandon did the necessary work to replace my outdoor faucet and install an indoor shut off in a very professional manner and very quickly.

Work was done very fast. The worker that came was very efficient and knowledgeable. Gave me some advice for my septic system. I was glad i was able to ask him questions. Even though it was a septic system pumping I'm very pleased with Mr. Rooter of Rochester.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Rochester did a fantastic job repairing a broken underground drain pipe from my basement sump pump to a storm sewer drain. They were responsive from the time of my first phone call through to the completion of the project.

They scheduled my job quickly, showed up on the date and time of the appointment we made and sent a seasoned professional named Kevin who did a fantastic job diagnosing and then performing the work. I was given a firm quote for the work when Kevin first looked at the scope of work and Mr. Rooter honored that firm quote when the work was completed.

We had a great visit from Mr. Rooter Plumbing today. I made the appointment online, the communication was amazing. Our plumber was knowledgeable and helpful, helping us analyze the different options we could take for our plumbing issues. Service was wonderful.

I hadn't discovered Mr. Rooter until today, and I am completely happy with the service I received. My kitchen sink had a serious drainage issue. The technician arrived quickly, stayed until all was fixed, was friendly and explained what was wrong and how it would be fixed. Cleaned up before leaving. The charge was very fair. I have peace of mind knowing I have finally found an honest abd competent plumbing company!

I had a problem with my septic system that I was not aware of, Ray my technician from Mr Rooter said it was a fixable problem. I had a great experience with the whole process of getting this problem solved with Mr Rooter. Quick and efficient service.

At first I was really happy with the fast response and their willingness to look at my hot tub to fix it when no one else would even look at it. I paid extra for them to come over the weekend and I specifically asked what if they can’t do it? They said the only way they wouldn’t be able to do it the same day was if they had to buy a part. I then waited several weeks before they came back to fix the hot tub since they did have to buy a part. They came during the week instead of the weekend. I specifically paid extra for the weekend because it’s really disruptive to my work for them to come during the week. They said more parts had to be ordered and came back a third time during the week. The tech then told me it couldn’t be done. I had already paid in full for the service. They installed my dishwasher and put in a shower head for me. This essentially cost me close to $1500 as they are refusing to refund me the full cost of the hot tub claiming they purchased parts that can’t be returned and are “at a loss” for their tech’s time coming here. They’ve completely ripped me off and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

A technician came to perform the work within a week of initial contact. The job was done quickly and the technician was professional and helpful, answered any questions I had. Excellent customer service.
