Had flooding in the basement and someone came shortly after to help with clean up even tho service hadn't been done yet. At the end of the day on a weekend a technician had arrived, introduced himself ( Shawn T.) shook my hand and told me not to worry he wasn't going to leave until the problem was corrected. He took care of the problem and set up an appointment with someone to come out and go over some options on what we needed to do so this wouldn't happen again. Very satisfied with everything.

I wanted to thank the team at Roto Rooter! We are so happy with the work they did! Our sink in the basement was backed up and overflowing! They came right away to fix it and we were told that we needed a new line out front! We knew that was something we needed to have done but had put it off! They cleaned the line out and then made a date for them to come back in a few days! They just finished the job and you wouldn't have even known they were here! They weren't loud or noisy! It's winter but they tried to fix the lawn as good as they could because of the snow! Everyone has been so nice! From Levi in the office to everyone who came out! The price of the new line was so much more reasonable than other companies! Thank you so much!

The service technician Dominic was professional, thorough and got the job done quickly and to my complete satisfaction !
There was a glitch however and I called, Dominic returned immediately and settled everything !
I can easily and with confidence recommend Roto-Rooter for all your plumbing needs !

Do NOT go with Roto Rooter. They give you one price up front and then charge you another price afterwards. Even when you buy the correct part and all they had to do was change one fitting; they still will not use your part that you bought and just pay extra for fittings. I even went to Ferguson to get my part and they said Ferguson does not know what they are talking about as they are not plumbers. Ferguson owns a plumbing and HVAC company and does know what they are talking about as my part looked exactly like the old part. Ferguson only charged me $48 for the part, but roto rooter charged me over $100 for theirs.

DONT GET SCREW OVER BY LIERS AND CHEATERS.

Brandon M. came to our house on a Sunday to help remove an unexpected clog from our pipes. He was professional, efficient and extremely friendly! If we ever need to call Mr. Rooter again we would definitely request him to come.

Commercial property owner. I called 3 different services on a Friday at 4:30 pm. Mr. Rooter was only one willing to come right out. Kevin was competent, friendly, communicated well, and shared many bits of information during the process. Price was spot on and I highly recommend Kevin & Mr. Rooter.

We needed our water heater repaired, we called another repair service and they couldn't get here until Monday. We called Mr Rooter and they were hear within an hour and had the job done quickly.

Called with a weekend emergency (of course). Everyone was very understanding and empathetic. The tech arrived quickly. He snaked my main pipe and found it was the main sewer not my pipe (good to know it is clean). He called the town and gave me all pertinent info to follow up.

Needed a septic tank emptied out and cleaned, and called Mr. Rooter because I knew they had a good reputation. My expectations were beyond exceeded. First off, I was able to schedule the appointment within a couple days of when I called which was awesome. The price was fair, pretty much what I was expecting after a Google search. No surprises, or hidden fees, and the phone operator I spoke to, David, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the service and what I could do to prep. A two-hour window was scheduled which was very convenient to make sure someone was home.

My technician was Ray and he was outstanding. Ray showed up right on time, at the early end of the estimate. I live in Holley, so it's a very far drive from Rochester, so Ray must have had to get up early to get here and I appreciate that. Right off the bat he was very friendly and easy to talk to. He showed up, did the job, asked if I had questions, smiling the whole time. He made sure everything was working before he left, and the tank was so clean, you'd think it was just a water basin when he was done. He also gave me some plumbing advice for some exterior fixtures in minor disrepair. He wasn't pushy at all, and came at it homeowner to homeowner rather than someone trying to sell something unneeded. The whole thing took about 45 minutes to an hour.

All in all, Ray was a good guy, did a great job and I will definitely be working with Mr. Rooter again. They have earned their reputation, from phone operators like David and techs like Ray, you're getting great service, transparent communication and you can rest knowing your home is going to be taken care of. I'd give six stars if I could.

Called several so called 24/7 emergency plumbing companies but only Mr Rooter actually was available. Kevin Gray arrived within 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon to take care of my mom’s clogged drain which went from the upstairs shower to the downstairs kitchen sink. He was very efficient and knowledgeable and thorough as well as very nice. Took care of the problem and off he went. Would highly recommend

800$ to unclog my pipes and I was left with broken parts. Was quoted over 6k to get the broken parts fixed on top of being promised I would need to spend another 10k elsewhere to prove to the city the clog is their fault. He also told me the issue was NOT solved. After checking it turns out the “plumber” had 20 years of CDL truck driving and nothing on his profile about plumbing. Which figures as his quote for an extra 16k seemed entirely unneeded as I haven’t had a single issue since besides the fact that he was incredibly rough banging pieces to take them apart.

STAY AWAY FROM MR ROOTER!! Extremly expensive!! Dug hole and changed pipe and charged $6.000. I am sure they will respond to this review with some flowery reason why it cost so much. I was not the person who agreed to use them , however I was the one who got stuck paying. Shop around people. There are some good plumbers out there that would have done this job for half the price. It amazes me how many foolish people there are using their service. I guess they like being riped off!!!!

Ray Robinson was our tech. He was very nice and very helpful. He worked through the very cold temp (8degrees F with a wind chill of -8). They were able to get out to us in less than 24hrs even though it was a weekend. Thank you so much for everything!

Just purchased a house in Rochester and found multiple issues with the plumbing. Brandon for Mr. Rooter came and did an excellent job. The job performed, however, was very expensive. You should shop around if you have that chance because you can get a better price.

The plumber they sent was really nice, but did not make up how the company made me feel and how they over inflated the scope of the project and cost. Unfortunately the price quoted was far above the cost of the project. I had on leak on drain pipe in the basement for the sink going into the main drain. I had to do a temp patch job till we can have servoce done. Mr Rooter quoted me 1,500 dollar for the repair which in my opinion was high. Afterwords I felt a little force to have to put half down on the payment to lock in an appointment for the fix the next day. So this part my fault but at this point I paid just to make an appointment. What I really wanted to do was throw the company out with the absurd prise. After Mr. Rooter left I we had a call from another plumber from Angie list. They took a look at the project and quoted me 400 dollars. I accepted the new plumber offer and called Mr. Rooter back to cancle and get my money back. This was within 1 hour of just paying Mr. Rooter. I was told they will look into the matter. It took 2 additional phone calls and my bank involved just to get the call canceled and my money back minus the quoting fee. Which I think is a joke. You change me a fee to come out then quote me for a job 3 times more the cost to fix. I know their inflation but $1,500 vs $400 is a joke. The best part is the next day I get an email from Mr Rooter that it's time for my annual inspection and now get spam email from them. I guess that's why I paid the quoting fee so I can get Mr. Rooter email spam. Minus the nice plumber; I had a terrible experience through Mr. Rooter

Kevin and Emery were very nice and explained what was to be done, I did not think twice on signing a contract with Mr. Rooter and the job is schedules for tomorrow. Quick response and’s great follow up. Thank you guys

Excellent provider of plumbing services. Same day, fast & friendly. From office to onsite, all aspects of their mission were efficient and on point. It made the difficulty of parting with hard earned money a lot easier. Nice to see a well run outfit like this!
