We had a great experience with Graves Brothers! Alex came to discuss what needed to be done and provided us with a quote for a new roof & siding. We had two layers of roofing to be removed (a metal roof & shingles) along with the removal of two skylights, all to be replaced with a new shingle roof. Matthew VanHorn, Carlito and his crew showed up and got right to work, removing both layers in only a couple of hours. Matt made sure to keep us updated along the way, informing us of any plywood that was rotted and needed to be replaced. They had the job done from start to finish in just one day & didn’t leave until everything was picked up. We would highly recommend this crew to anyone looking for a company who provides excellent work without cutting corners just to get the job done. We are excited to see the finished product when the siding is replaced in a few weeks.

Had my soffits done.Fantastic workers. They did a wonderful job. My only small issue was that I had to use my magnet to find a handful if nails and metal in my driveway and the neighbor's driveway. Just glad that I caught it before parking my car in the driveway. Hope that I have those guys and girls again if I need work done. Thank you.

We give Graves a 4.5 out of 5 stars, we were (mostly) super super impressed! We had a bunch of work done so I’m going to break it down by category

Sales: 4.5/5- getting an appointment at first took a while, as to be expected given the time of year but make sure you tailor your expectation from the beginning. Kris went through the entire project with us (it’s a big one… full removal and install of new roof, some new gutters and some new siding on a VERY complex house) and was super patient as we asked our thousand questions. He also stayed connected through the project! The only thing that was missing was a final “how do you like it?” check in after completion. We also aren’t sure about our warranty so speaking to Kris again would have been nice.

Roof: 5/5 - the Forman Reese was AMAZING. Hands down the best. Don’t lose him, Graves Brothers! They cleaned up after each day, they were polite, and the work looks great. Reese kept us updated throughout the project and helped us through a few pretty bad unseen issues. The only thing with the roof I wasn’t expecting was that they really work dawn to dusk. They were here by 8am and some days didn’t leave until after 8pm. Graves, I hope that you treat them well, that’s a very very long day of labor!

Gutters: 3/5 - the gutters look great now that they’re done but oh my gosh was it painful to get to that part. They had to come out three maybe four times to do the correct gutters. I don’t really mind that part but the gentleman who did them was very inconsiderate and rude. I showed him the first two times which gutters were included and even showed him the picture Kris provided to us since they were only replacing some of the gutters. He wasn’t actually listening to me and was dismissive… hence why he had to come back out again and again. Now that they’re done we love them, but I don’t think we would go to Graves for gutters in the future. It was fine since we had a bunch of other work, but we wouldn’t seek them out for further gutter replacement.

Craftsman: 5/5 - Eric was amazing (also, note how I know everyones name except the gutter person). It took a bit to get aligned for the work to be done due to the weather but Eric was awesome about letting me know and coordinating a date / time. He was super nice and his work was wonderful. We have a very large old house with wood siding and some of it (in places we couldn’t easily get to) had to be repaired. Took him a few hours and now it looks wonderful.

Overall we really liked our experience with Graves, they weren’t the cheapest but they weren’t the most expensive either. Calling in to pay our invoice was a breeze and for the most part everyone was wonderful! We will be calling them when we’re ready to have the front facade roofing replaced and the siding since they’re reliable and the work was done very very well (which is tough for most places to meet because we have VERY high expectations! Hey, 29k isn’t pocket change, we need to make sure our investment is well made). Thank you, Graves for making our first contractor experience in our new home so wonderful. We are very appreciative of you! ☺️

Just had a complete tear off and rebuild done. Highly recommended this company. They get back to you very quickly and always work to get you answers.

Sales guy Tyler was very cordial and polite. Answered texts around the clock.

Project Manager Jordan went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the work during and after the project. Highly recommend him if you want the job done.

The workers were at it non stop, and I believe the foreman was Carlito. Very nice team of hard working individuals!

From the call to set up the appointment for the quote, to the completion of the job, the entire experience was top notch. Tom our Estimator and Rich our Service Tech were excellent. Job was well done, they both were friendly and courteous, and Rich left the job site immaculate! Job was on time and on budget. First class all the way!

In good faith ,that work that they were going to perform with quality
Pride , and professionalism, what I got instead , was a total disregard, and disrespect , structural damage to my roof , a inexperienced crew , they damaged my fence by dropping so much depris on the steel post , it snapped it out of the ground ,
I have taken multiple pictures , of their office work , it's very obvious for a man like me ,how bad and poorly it is ,
I say this because I was a tradesman ,for 46 years , and family built home for a living , although my actual trade was finish plaster ,and drywall .
And carpentry ,so I'm relatively positive , I know great , good , average , and the rest by looking at it with my years of experience , I've been waiting for a response from Graves brothers for over a week ,when they sent the sales guy to come take pictures of all the work , with his phone video camera, and idoe drone . On Wednesday the 27 th , I filed , a grievance, and hired an inspector to share his findings .
I can't begin to tell you , how upsetting this is , that I was promised ,a lot of false promises by this company . And from my personal experience I wouldn't advise or refer this company to anyone . Sincerely Mr Timothy and Rebecca O'Connor

The siding installation went smoothly and the crew worked long hours despite the heat and humidity. The siding looks great and the crew cleaned up around the property at the end of every day

Excellent job, only firm that answered my calls, gave me a quote, and came to perform the job. No one else seemed to want the job.

Brandon Carpenter was great! He was friendly and efficient, was very communicative, providing great service and also providing recommendations for future roofing needs. We appreciated his overall professionalism and would recommend them to anyone.

I hired Graves Brothers in May 2024 to address an urgent roof repair. From the beginning, I stressed the importance of completing the job before July 1st, when our new tenants were set to move in. The team assured me that the work—quoted at $2,000—could be finished in one day. I signed the contract on May 6th and was told work would begin May 13th.

After weeks of silence, I had to repeatedly follow up. Finally, on June 11th, a crew arrived only to discover additional issues. They left without finishing due to the heat, which I understood. However, no one informed us when they would return. I had to call multiple times for confirmation, and they assured me the job would be completed on June 17th.

Days later, the roof began leaking again. Concerned, I reached out to discuss repair versus replacement, but received no response—only a surprise invoice for $800 above the original quote. While I would have accepted the extra cost had the work been timely and effective, it clearly was not.

Over the next few months, the pattern of unprofessionalism continued. Crews showed up unannounced while we were out of town, and despite being told the job was "100% complete," my tenants reported continued leaks. A fourth crew member then inspected the work, stating it had been done incorrectly from the start, with gaps between the flashing and the dormers and insulation torn out without replacement. Worse yet, they suggested redoing the entire job, admitting it could be completed in 18 hours—significantly less than the 30 hours we had already been billed for.

After multiple attempts to reach management, including speaking with three different staff members and being promised a call from a senior leader, Anthony, we have yet to hear back—despite weeks of waiting.

At this point, we had no choice but to contact another contractor for an assessment. Their report was alarming—they couldn’t believe the poor quality of work, showing us pictures of broken siding, improperly installed flashing, and warped cedar that was never replaced. Their professional opinion mirrored the previous roofer’s: the work would need to be completely redone, which they assured us could be completed in one day.

As a homeowner and landlord, I am beyond disappointed with Graves Brothers’ lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability. We are now four months into this project, and our roof remains in worse condition than before. I urge anyone considering Graves Brothers to do their research thoroughly. If this is the standard of work they stand behind, prospective clients should be aware of what they’re getting into. Our experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating...

Repeat customer here! When the ice and snow became to much and ripped out a section of my gutter, Blake and Lenny saved the day. They were prompt, professional, and did such a superior job and cleaned up so well that you'd never know the gutter had fallen in the first place.

Graves brothers was the perfect choice, I reached out to them to get some ideas on my Siding project Max came by and walked me through my options, After that Jason kept me informed with the next phase and stating date. When Jason showed up with the crew of workers everything went extremely well and when the job was done I loved it and I didn't have any complaints about the work that was done. We just used Graves Bros for a massive tear off roof with multiple layers.
The sales meeting led by Aaron Wight was very professional and informative. He was able to give us extra information with the many follow-up questions we had throughout the week.
On project day, Matt VanHorn and his huge team, led by Manny, showed up on time and were amazing to watch. They were efficient, polite, and left our yard clean. They were able to finish this huge project in one day, which we really appreciate having 4 young kids. Matt made sure we had a thorough walk around to review all of their work to ensure we were happy before they left. Our roof looks great! I highly recommend.

Graves Brothers was awesome to work with, especially Brendon and Kody. They explained every step of their work and why they did it, and they stayed all day until the job was done, even in bad weather. Their pricing was fair and transparent too. Would absolutely do business with them again.

I’m surprised that Graves Brothers has such good reviews. I wish I felt the same way. Started the new roofing job in October 2019, but didn’t finish until May 2020. They wanted payment over winter even though the job wasn’t done. Now i have a leaking roof because the roof wasn’t flashed correctly, but Graves says it not under their 5 year warranty. They won’t honor their work or warranty. They offered a $275 credit towards getting the roof fixed. Why would I pay them more money when it should’ve been correctly in the first place. Very disappointing. I definitely would not recommend.

After a rocky start and a little on edge due to early miscommunication, Graves did a decent job on our siding and the price was competitive. While the project got delayed more than a month, they did complete it in less than a week and were respectful of our property. They made some mistakes, but if you can be patient and calm, they did make it right. Max, Anthony, and Jason were all great. It just required more persistence and flexibility than I would prefer. I would not recommend them if you are looking for expert advice or are not 100% sure of exactly what you want but if you can be very specific and detailed in what you want and ask them to repeat it back to you to ensure they truly understand, then they will do a fine job. They don’t go above and beyond so your direction and specific expectation needs to be laid out from the start, but I’m not sure anyone in this business would do better. End of the day, Anthony was understanding and took care of the few errors made at the start, and the project manager, Jason, was accessible and open to feedback during the job, making him easy to work with. I love our new siding. Huge improvement from what we had. I don’t think I would hire them for anything other than siding though. I think that is what they know best. Monogram is the siding we chose and it seems like a great product.

Poor communication at call center with emails sent with no way to contact someone back, and add ons to pricing on the day of job for work other companies do not charge extra for , ie the trim around window was rotting and they wouldn’t replace it unless we paid over $1,000 extra when the sales person led us to believe they would complete the window and trim installation. Our sales rep texted us days after we reached out and never called us once to check on the complaints we had. I remember how he kept in touch with me very well in the beginning when he wanted the contract signed timely .. but once we paid 1/2 his communication dropped off ! The work is still not done as they installed the screens that do not fit and do not go up and down without being stuck.
We went with Graves for price but realize now that was a mistake and have to pay for work we are not happy with !
