I found On Time Electric on Angi List, they were the first ones to call within minutes of my request. Had a technician on the way within an hour. My technician Newman, was friendly and knowledgeable and fixed the problem effectively. We already have plans to do other electric projects with them. We highly recommend them for your service needs.

This company charged me $340 for less than an hour worth of work. They charged me $250 for a switch replacement. Guys doing the installation first said the switch was $250 but I was able to find it on Home Depot for $40. Over priced and deceiving. Also charged me $90 for a simple fix to a chandelier. I had asked him to just diagnose the issue but he ended up fixing it and then charged me for the work. I won’t be going with this company again.

I was able to book an appointment within two days and when the electrician arrived, he was friendly and helpful in helping me decide what work to do.
He was quick too.
Though he might have cost more than a typical handyman that I may have found through other sites, it’s reassuring to know that the technicians at OTE are legit electricians.

Luis was very quick and efficient. He diagnosed the issue and wasted no time in getting the issue fixed. Luis was very friendly/pleasant to work with and ensured the issue was 100% resolved before he left. I highly recommend Luis/On Time Electrical for all your electrical needs.

We had some serious electrical problems in our home and were really worried, but Marvin Morales came through for us. He was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful every step of the way. Marvin not only fixed the issues quickly and safely, but also made us feel at ease throughout the process. He’s a skilled electrician and a wonderful person to work with. Highly recommend him!

Tommy did a great job with installing new lighting. He was clear about the process and asked for feedback along the way to make sure I was happy with the result. I’ve used on-time electrical for the past 5 years and always recommend them to others.

Tommy was an excellent technician. Explained everything in terms I could understand and worked expeditiously to get my problem resolved. A lot of technicians talk down to you when they see you’re a woman but this was definitely not the case. Will use your company again in the future.

On time as scheduled for full circuit box replacements & misc estimates. Perry was very thorough including codes related to electrical regulations and we went over all the details of replacement. I was happy with the final estimate negotiated for this job and I accepted the offer, Thank you Perry & On Time.

Phase 1 & 2: day 1, had the old circuit box taken out & replaced with the new 42slot 200amp; and prepared for new outside meter panel with gfci; a lot of hard work..restored power until day 2.

day2: removed old outside meter casing and replaced with new updated version with 8 slots and gfci; crews checked all wirings, placed 2 ground rods and rechecked all connections to breaker boxes and tested. Fully restored power by 5pm.

In Summation: The Mooresville Building Inspector came and
Passed the Electrical work.

Called around 10:00 to schedule appointment. By noon he was leaving. Job completed! I was amazed. All done. No mess. Newman was super pleasant. Completed my job the most efficient way possible. I couldn’t be happier

My experience exceeded my expectations. I needed a quick turnaround for an installation and my technician Luis Flores arrived quickly after my service call on the same day. He was the consummate professional and did exceptional work. I’m throughly satisfied with this business and feel totally secure with any and all of my future home repair/renovation needs!

Quinn did an absolutely amazing job helping me get set up for a hot tub. He was very pleasant and professional and never hesitated to answer any of my questions or explain what he was doing. He did work and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dependaworthy - On Time Electrical?
Well - Nothing in their name, pitch or actual practice demonstrates integrity.
Shame on me for expecting that.
Had a couple of circuit switches in my panel go bad - non emergency but they said they could get to me same day -great.
Until they showed…. he didn’t even diagnose or inspect a thing just listened to me saying the switches went bad. He immediately pitched me a $1500 surge protector - bad sign. Then when I tell him I just a have 2 bad switches needing to replace - he never opens the panel or checks anything and he tells me it’s going to be over $400 to replace 2 circuit switches that literally cost about $8.20 a piece at Lowe’s. Again - he never opened my panel or actually did any work. I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know to steer clear of this ripoff company and hope One Time Electrical took great pleasure in taking $97 for doing nothing but trying to rip me off, waste my time and cause me grief. I paid because I have integrity and agreed to the $97 prior but this company WOW, you can depend on one thing - being grossly over charged. On Time Electrical -Shame on you.

Brenton from On Time Electric out of Hickory came out and installed my new EV Ford Pro Charger today. He did a super job was thorough and did a great job. He was super friendly and hiia knowledge was great. He even did a great job with clean up after the fact. I am impressed with the company as I had several interactions with David the VP and he was also super helpful and friendly and easy to deal with. Thanks for a great job and getting my car super charged!!!!

Had issues with my charger connecting to Internet so on time sent Perry out to work the issue out and we were able to get my charger connected and working correctly and now is charging perfect. Thank you Perry and everyone at On time Electric for the great service.

They came out right away, talked me through the issues. They resolved the immediate issue and worked on an estimate for additional work. Everything was followed up on quickly, and everyone involved was so nice and communicated quickly and clearly! Have already recommended to a friend for future needs!

Luis did an awesome job putting in my EV wall connector. Super friendly, showed up on time, and had it up and running quickly. Everything looks clean and works great. Great service overall!

I contacted On Time Electrical who is also affiliated with One Hour Heating and Air in December when my power kept going out in my bedroom and hallway since they offered services after normal business hours. It was after 6 o'clock in the evening and their rates were very pricey after hours so they encouraged me to sign up for a plan with them to get a discount on it. At first, I was very content with the tech, Julio, that came out to the house cuz he was informative and he explained that I would need two of my breakers replaced. He mentioned that I should consider getting my whole electrical panel replaced but I simply couldn't afford it yet. I spoke with an agent about the plan and they said that I could get a free electrical inspection but I wanted to request the same tech, Julio, to come back out to the house. I scheduled the electrical inspection but my appt got cancelled three times by the company and I understand that things come up but that's unacceptable.
On Time Electrical is affiliated with One Hour Heating and Air so I had to contact them when my heating system didn't seem to be working properly. They sent a tech named Nate out to the house on December 25th and I was given a discount for the trip fee so I paid $60 for it but I wasn't really impressed with the service call. Nate supposedly took a look at my heat pump and he said that I need a new control board but he didn't show me the old one. He mentioned that I could get a new heat pump for a lot more money and he seemed to be real insistent for about it then he asked me if I would like to do a credit application but it would only be a soft pull so I went along with it but I was turned down since I had so much credit already so he quoted me $1500 for the control board. The day that Nate came out to the house was December 25 on Thursday and he said that he would have to wait until the following Monday to order it. I told him that I may could find a cheaper price for the control board but he said that I had better benefits with them cuz they come out on holidays but what good is that if they don't have the part in stock? He said that I could get a new heat pump the same day but I would have to wait until Monday for him to order it if I wanted him to replace the control board and even then he couldn't tell me how long it would take to get it. I told him that I would let him know if I decided to approve it and he seemed to be overbearing about it. I decided to reach out to the company that installed the heat pump back in 2009 and they said that they would come over to look at it at no charge since it would be a second opinion. The tech that came out with the other company was very helpful and he took pictures of everything that he checked out when he was there so he showed me the dust build up at the furnace. He said that it just needed to be cleaned out and he took care of it for me. I had mentioned to Nate that I hadn't had maintenance on it in a long time but he said that wouldn't make any difference but he told me that I needed a new control board but it looks like all I really needed was to get the dust cleaned out of the furnace which is a lot cheaper than a new control board or heat pump. I doubt that Nate even looked at it and he probably just wanted me to spend more money than I had to for the service call. It wasn't even worth the $60 trip fee that One Hour Heating and Air charged me. I paid them a $60 trip fee just so that I could be given the incorrect information and I had to call another company to do a job that he could've done in the first place. I believe that it was price gouging on the HVAC call and I have canceled my plan with them especially after the electrical tech canceled the inspection three times but I strongly feel like they should compensate me for the $60 trip fee since the tech gave me misinformation likely on purpose and I had to contact someone else to do a job that he could've done if he had been looking out for the customer.

My technician was Newman. He was on time. He called to let me know that he was on his way. He was on time. He was very cautious on the phone when he spoke with me. He got his job done in a very timely manner. I really appreciate this company. You guys are the best company that I have ever appreciated so much. Your staff is awesome. Also your receptionists are very pleasant to talk too. I would recommend your company to my friends and family. You are on Time....Thank you for your service.

Aaron Cole was fantastic. He arrived on time, listened carefully to all of my questions (and I had a lot), and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I’m still learning how the setup works, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and patient—truly a great teacher. By the time he left, I felt confident and fully informed.

Scheduling was quick and easy, and I was able to get on the books within about a week. Highly recommend, especially if you’re moving into a new place.
