Faulty pipes that were ran in a brand new home, pipe where the garden hose connects busted and water came into a room which flooded. They were at fault on their side because we had a plumber come and look. The kicker, they put in a cracked pipe at the main water line going to the meter. Which is why our bill was so high for months. (We knew there was a problem but they kept saying it was nothing)Grant you the names of these issues aren’t as technical because I’m not a plumber however a fracture in a line is just that a fracture and we couldn’t have caused that. The house was done when we moved in and the landscaping. So why were these pipes passed??? Well the water wasn’t even on when the inspector for the builder came out. Kudos Onslow County.

One of the worst companies we have ever dealt with. The first gentleman was sent out to our brand new home (2 weeks old) for issues with the toilet not flushing correctly and clogging very easily. He was very unfriendly and seemed more interested in hurrying up and leaving than actually helping. His reason for the toilet not flushing correctly after looking was that we weren’t saturating our toilet paper enough before flushing and when he tired to prove that to me...it clogged once again. He then said “you wouldn’t typically use that much toilet paper, so it will be fine.” At the point I knew he was of no help and let him leave. Our builder Stevens fine homes then sent this company out again and the reason this time was because a tampon was found and that this would void our warranty and so that we were responsible for the bill which we are unfortunately having to pay. We are still having issues but there is no way I would call this company back. Use another plumber!

Noticed water damage on my floors and heard water running in the walls, called and they were able to come out same day, stopped the leak and repaired/replaced the pipe. Jared was very helpful and professional!

I don’t even know where to begin! If I could be a spokesperson for this company I would!! My father and I have had a leak in our house for 2 weeks we’ve had 4 different companies (not going to name them but I would if I didn’t feel bad) come out to our house to try to find the leak. All FOUR other companies could NOT find the leak. Then our FIFTH company (Thorntons plumbing) comes in and assesses everything and is very thorough luckily we had Jared (our technician) find the LEAK!!! From everyone in the office- TT and others, to Jared (technician) and the actual owner herself (Tracy) they have made this HORRIFIC leak experience (caused floor damage, MOLD and other damage) much more manageable and VERY HELPFUL! I can’t express my
Gratitude anymore! I WISH I FOUND THEM EARLIER!!!

Leaking water from the shower drain. the technician put some caulk in few minutes and told me all set. The warranty was still active, after a while the leak expanded. when I called the company they told me that my warranty is expired and I have to pay $100 just for diagnosing. and additional cost for repairs . This company did the plumbing system in my new home

Joyce and this whole team here at Thorton’s rock! Gave me excellent Customer Service, advice and the team that came out to look at my septic were very knowledgable. 100% would recommend them to anyone in my area and with any future needs I will be calling them first!

We were experiencing a low pressure problem throughout our whole house. After having the water company come out to check the outside, I gave Thornton's a call. They put me on their schedule just a couple days out which was fine since it wasn't an urgent matter. They came to my house early which was wonderful! I showed the tech the problem and he had it fixed within minutes. The price seemed pretty reasonable too. I'm very happy to have normal pressure again! I'll be sure to give them a call in the future if I need plumbing services again.

I woke up yesterday morning, a Saturday, to my water heater compressor leaking. I called the emergency number on my tank and the man told me that he no longer serviced our area but he would find my point of contact and call me back. Within 10 minutes I had the number of who I was supposed to call. Ansel came out that same evening and stayed until 9:30 to change out the tank. He was very polite and efficient and my bill was much less than I expected it to be.

I called Thortons to schedule them to meet the inspector on my property 6 months ago. They were to dig holes wherever the inspector told them to dig holes and refill the holes after he looked in them. I told them since it was a 1 hour job to schedule it when they are at the 350 home subdivision across the street. I called them 8 times and they promised to schedule it. They have never called me and I see their workers across the street every week. Once the inspector approves my land, I was going to hire them to install the septic lines.

This is a follow up on an earlier review. I contacted Thornton Plumbing several months ago about repairing an outdoor shower at our part-time house where the pipes had burst because of the cold. A plumber went to the house to look at the shower and he quoted me 250$ for the job. I agreed, and the plumber said he was going to buy parts and return the next day to do the work. That was the last I heard.

Fast forward to this week. I arrive at the house to find that the plumber has in fact done SOMETHING. What he did not do was fix the shower. The hot side of the shower leaks like crazy. The cold side of the shower is not longer functioning. Shower NOT fixed.

Today, I get a random text message from Thornton telling me I have an unpaid invoice for them. After being quoted 250$ and them NOT fixing the shower, the invoice is for 346$!!!!!

Service was acquired though JC Jackson home builders; fantastic people, Thorton not so much. If you look, the drain is off center creating a weak seal and allowing water to seep out and onto my ceiling between 1st and 2nd floor! I wouldn't be surprised if i had serious mold issue at this point. Things get better! Thornton's decided to "repair" the failure. The guy had a fix! it was that ring of silicon mixed with plumbers putty.... This held for a while but failed again. So, I contacted Thornton's because surely they would fix something that was never right in the first place and is now possibly causing mold to grow. They told me I was out of warranty and id have to pay for the fix... that is, pay for something that was obviously not installed right to begin with, that makes no sense.The fact that this wasn't installed right means lifelong issues for me; if this was installed correctly it would last for more than a year and would break shortly afterwards. Bottom line: when the same piece is failing over and over again, fix it.

CALLED FOR A SINK INSTALLATION, SHOWED QUICKLY TO GIVE ESTIMATE AND WAS MUCH MUCH LESS THAT THE FIRST ESTIMATE I HAD FRPM ANOTHER PLUMBING SERVICE,SHOWED UP ON TIME ON THE DAY OF INSTALLATION WAS QUICK, NEAT AND VERY GOOD WORK, THANKS AGAIN
