The first time I used Subzero was for a client that had a Home warranty and they were sent out. Ron & Christian were FANTASTIC, On time, Professional and So honest and not trying to up sell anything...UNLIKE my BAD past experiences with a company that advertises on TV all the time ...The next time was on my personal system and once again they exceeded my expectations!! They will be the only HVAC company I recommend from here on!

I had Subzero "assigned" to me when I filed a claim through my home warranty. It turned out to be some really good luck! Ron and Sam were great!

I had called a different HVAC contractor out to my house in July, and they told me that the gas regulators in my furnaces were leaking and needed to be replaced, saying they'd come back out later in the year to do it. I decided to file a claim with my warranty to save a little money on the install (estimated $350+). I got a call that afternoon (a Sunday), and was scheduled in for the next morning. Ron and Sam came out to my place and took a look. Ron was able to point out to me that my first contractor was basically trying to scare me into a costly repair. He pulled a brand new regulator out of his van and showed me how it was put together and where leakages occur on them. He did all the usual soap bubble checks to be sure, but he told me that he was a bit suspicious of the diagnosis as soon as he heard it, as the regulators don't usually leak. He tightened the escape valve (which was a bit loose, but in no way required a replacement) and turned everything on that my first contractor had turned off. I unfortunately still had to pay the visit fee per the terms of my warranty, but at least I got some good peace of mind and a great new HVAC contractor out of it!

I will also note that this "other" contractor that I first called, although not terrible, tried to schedule me for a yearly checkup service in almost the same breath as scheduling my service call. I got no such pressure from Ron and Sam, and I appreciate that greatly!

Subzero has my business now, and I'd highly recommend them to others.

There aren’t enough “stars” for Ron and his team at Subzero Mechanical. They are truly the most caring and amazing people out there in this field hands down. I had recently bought a home and although the inspector stated that my heat pump was working I found myself on day 2 without heat and a temperature of 54 degrees inside of the home. Ron came to the rescue! Despite the fact that it was a Sunday and he was on a job, he arrived that same day.
Ron and his team had to replace the unit in the crawl space as well as all the duct work which was not an easy task. They worked in freezing rain, in the dark and all throughout the weekend to ensure that me and my family had heat. Not only did they do a superior job but he is more than fair in pricing! There are not many companies who care about the craftsmanship of their work as this company does.
Please tell anyone you know this should be their first and only call for all of their HVAC needs! We cant thank Ron and his team for their service and compassion for our heating situation! Thanks Ron and Team!!!

My experience with Subzero Mechanical has been superb. The heat at one of my rental properties suddenly went out. Within an hour of my phone call with Ron, the problem was diagnosed and the heat was up and running again. Ron was prompt, honest, informative, and completed the work at an incredible price. As a matter of fact, he only charged me the service charge, he didn’t even charge me for completed service. I would absolutely recommend Subzero mechanical.

Ron did a wonderful job servicing and diagnosing our heater twice on two of the coldest days we had this past winter! In addition he recently helped us with our gas stove. He’s very responsive, knowledgeable, honest and treats your home repairs as if he’s doing his own home. I highly recommend using Ron and Subzero!

Ron did an excellent job for us installing a new heating system! He arrived exactly when he said he would and the price was exactly as quoted. His work was professional and efficient. We also called him about another property when the heat wasn’t working and he was there in less than 20 minutes and had it fixed. We were thrilled. We highly recommend Subzero and will happily use them again and recommend Subzero to all our family and friends!

Been a customer for several years. Service used to be good. In my past two services communication has been non exsistent. When I inquired about the poor communication I was given the we are just a small company excuse. I cannot suggest using this group unless you want to guess when they will arrive and call to extract what may happen next. Very disapointing results.
