Today Victor Ayala from CMA Mechanical Heating &Air came to my house to service my unit making sure it's tip top for the winter. Excellent experience with him. He was patient in answering all my questions and I had alot. Very professional and polite. Highly recommend him and this company for heating and air issues and service contracts.

In July 2025 - I had another fantastic experience with this company. This time for both air duct and dryer vent cleaning. From start to finish, the team was punctual, professional, and extremely thorough. They took the time to explain the process, answered all of my questions, and showed me before-and-after photos so I could really see the difference.

The air in our home feels noticeably fresher, and I have peace of mind knowing our dryer vent is now clean and safe. It’s clear they take pride in their work and care about their customers’ health and safety.

Highly recommend their services to anyone looking to improve their indoor air quality and prevent potential fire hazards. I’ll definitely be using them again!

Could not have asked for better service starting from the original phone call to them all the way to the job completion. I was told by a big name company that my unit needed to be replaced at a very high price and with the major heat wave about to come through, it was tempting to just believe them and get it done right away. A friend suggested I call CMA Mechanical. Jessica was extremely kind and set me up for the very next day and I had called at 4:30PM. The owner came out to look at my unit because I really thought I was going to need pricing for a new unit from him also. Instead, he FIXED my unit and I only had to pay a nominal fee for all he did. I’d give more stars if I could.

I highly recommend them. Mike was a pleasure to work with and provided comprehensive explanations.
They were polite and offered a very affordable price when they installed our new system.
They offered a range of options and prices without putting any pressure on you. There were no surprises, and the work was finished on schedule.

I had an extremely positive experience with CMA Mechanical Heating & Air. Our HVAC system broke and so I reached out to three companies: Jones, CMA, & Chad Love. Jones & Chad Love provided decent quote experiences, however, Chris Strickland from CMA called me everyday. I never once received a call from Jones or Chad Love. Chris from CMA provided competitive pricing and an amazing customer experience. I would highly recommend CMA Mechanical to anyone looking to replace or repair their HVAC system.

l would like to thank CMA Mechanical for fast, and efficient service. Mike came out on a Saturday and was very professional and knowledgeable about our unit. He diagnosed the issue and told us it would be Monday before he could get the part. He came back and fixed the issue in a timely manner and the price was reasonable. It means alot when you honest and reliable.

CMA was a wonderful company to work with. They communicated with us every step of the way, sent tracking info about the techs so we knew when they were coming. They treated our house like their own and went above and beyond. I can’t thank them enough for what they did for us.

AC was not working after turning it on for the first time this year. Mike came out within hours for the service call. Great customer communication with a text showing a tracker of when to expect arrival. Once he arrived, he was very personable and knowledgeable of how to fix the problem. Within an hour he had everything fixed and double checked the house afterwards to make sure everything was working.

Great experience as always working with Mike and his team. They are knowledgeable and get the job done. I replaced an air handler for my downstairs unit, and they installed a new unit and ran new duct work to finish out an upstairs space. Highly recommend using them!

I highly recommend CMA and Mike Andrews for your HVAC needs. In addition to having serviced our units over the years, CMA recently installed a new system at our home. Mike’s estimate was very competitive, and both he and his office staff were extremely professional in all our dealings. A small issue developed with our new system, and Mike has been extremely responsive in helping us get this resolved. It’s a pleasure working with such good contractors and good people.

Highly recommend CMA Mechanical! They installed a new system for us back in 2022 and were competitively priced and professional. We called today because our unit wouldn’t turn on and Mike was able to fit us into his schedule same day. He just finished replacing the blown fuse and wire. He was friendly and professional, the repair was quick and fairly priced!

Mike and the CMA team are best in class. One of our HVAC units stopped working during the coldest week of the year and Mike was able to come out same day to diagnose our problem and lay out our options. He was very straightforward and honest in his communication and we decided to replace the unit. There was about a week before we could get the unit so Mike’s team drove 45 minutes to South Charlotte to bring us space heaters and make the house liveable for us while we waited. At the install, his team was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable and we are very happy with the service and our new system. I cannot recommend CMA enough!

Update January 2026: Victor A from CMA Mechanical performed an inspection of the new systems. He was very thorough and gave helpful tips about optimal Zone settings. I continue to have great experiences with CMA
June 2025: I had a great experience with CMA. They installed 2 complete systems in my home. Mike and Jessica were very professional through the quoting process. No hidden fees or up-sell tactics, just straightforward communication. Barry and his crew did a great job with the installation, with minimal disruption to the household, and high-quality workmanship.
I highly recommend CMA for any HVAC job, big or small.

CMA replaced our gas pak unit as well as performed some duct cleaning. Mike and the crew were very responsive, professional, and courteous throughout the whole process. We did have an issue with our dryer vent with some lint getting caught in the ducting during cleaning, but Mike came out took care of it the next day. We are very pleased with our decision to go with CMA.

The technician, Victor, was prompt and on time with a text letting me know he was on the way. Victor worked efficiently and thoroughly while performing the maintenance on my unit. He took time in explaining items that would improve cooling and performance. Highly recommend CMA Mechanical for HVAC issues. The initial experience was awesome.

This has been the best customer experience! The owner, installers and office support were all personable, responsive, transparent and professional. We have been loyal customers of another HVAC company for over 20 years and due to this great experience, we will now be converting to CMA Mechanical.

The owner (Mike) and installers (Barry and Jeremiah) were beyond accommodating and worked with us to figure out a rather complex HVAC installation project. They took the time to educate us on the short comings of our prior system (with many places not insulated and others grossly undersized). They gave us options to optimize head room in the basement with new duct placement, were agreeable to moving the unit to the other side of the home with no additional cost and helped us figure out the most efficient and appealing vent placement. The owner gave us a variety of scenarios with efficiency and aesthetics in mind.

We ultimately had all of our duct work replaced, a new AC unit installed, a new furnace installed and a new mini-split system put into our master bedroom. The owner was very responsive, patient and refreshingly transparent. Both of the installers were timely, extremely knowledgeable, personable and professional - laying cloth down during their job, wearing booties or removing their shoes if able, and went above and beyond to ensure the job was done right.

The lead installer (Barry) took his time to educate us on every aspect of the job (which was time-consuming considering the size of our job). He was very patient with the large volume of questions we had and was beyond kind despite being re-approached daily.

The pricing was completely fair, especially considering the amount of work completed. When we ran into some issues accommodating the initial scope of the project, the owner stated he would be willing to eat the cost of installing some additional items (~$2,000+ cost) in order to accommodate a plan that would meet our initial scope of work. Most HVAC contractors would simply take this as a reason to charge the customer for more work, versus sticking with the initial scope of work. The fact that Mike (the owner) stood by his initial quote and offered to eat some of the cost was amazing.

This was ultimately not the route we went - but because of his offer, discussion and transparency we'll be loyal customers for life. The installers also took the time to do the job correctly, which was visibly noticeable in the finish work as well as efficiency of the new HVAC system.

We also had someone with an HVAC background come in an provide their thoughts on the finished product. They too were overly impressed with the knowledge, quality of work and ownership the installers and company provided. The installers even went above and beyond to help us with a few minor tasks that they knew needed to be completed but weren't necessarily "required" based on our contractual agreement.

The owner even helped with obtaining a master carpenter to cover the new attic access. Overall, our experience was significantly better with CMA than any contractor experience we have ever had (and we've had a good amount of both positive and negative contractor experiences with a 84+ year old home). We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC work.

If I could give 100 stars I would!! I had a wonderful experience with CMA from the first call to the installation of my new HVAC system. They were all very kind, Patient, professional, respectful, dependable and knowledgeable and worked with me to ensure I would be financially able to afford the unexpected expense. They have great financial support programs. I have and will continue to tell everyone about them and if you need any services that they offer go with them. I rarely write reviews but it was a must with CMA!!! THANK YOU!!! I want to give a huge thanks to Mr. Mike thank you for going above and beyond!!!

CMA Mechanical was awesome in helping us with our rental unit when we were having problems with the heat. Victor was the 1st technician who discovered the issue. A part was needed that was on back order. We had great communication from CMA regarding updates and when the part arrived. Mike came out to install this part. He was very kind and informative. Great customer service with great employees. Will definitely use them again!

They always show up on time and do a great job.And not to take advantage of the situation. I also appreciate the app where you can track the driver on the way to your house.So, you know, exactly when they're going to arrive.

From my initial call for help to the service visit itself, I cannot say enough good things about CMA Mechanical. Mike quickly diagnosed and fixed my problem and had everything up and running quickly. He was courteous and knowledgeable. They do not try to sell you anything you maybe don't need yet. As a widow, I really appreciate feeling comfortable with someone in my home and that they are honest and dependable. I am a customer for life!
